Was the Social Society network livery free or players Had to purchase an item? The Hagerty F1 livery isn’t quite free either.
I entirely forgot about that pay-for-code livery when all the hype about the Dior Mangusta came out. There supposedly were a few "free" codes handed out on social media sites. From the PlayStation blog post on that collaboration:
The Anti Social Social Club livery will be available via a PlayStation Network voucher code* that will be distributed with the purchase of any collaborative Gran Turismo item on AntiSocialSocialClub.com. A select number of voucher codes will also be given away through a special giveaway on GT’s social media channels.

Might have missed it but is it known when this is dropping? Historically Thursday's right?
Yes. Server maintenance is 0600-0800 UTC, and the update will become available during that time but only fully playable once the maintenance is over.

Which is what we "guessed" at in the article.

Cheers buddy!

The questions now are how much PD/Sony will be charging for the new liveries, and whether that will involve just in-game credits or real money.

Edit - it will be real money given the code for the Anti Social Social Club livery that was oh-so-briefly available at launch from ASSC.
"You have to pay for this livery" in a game with shareable liveries and a livery editor is a bold strategy.

Wednesday night/Thursday morning, so it will be live and (hopefully) playable by this time tomorrow.

How much do we think the mp4 will cost? I’m getting bored of grinding the same few races
If it is the legitimate article (i.e. it keeps the McLaren branding), I'm guessing north of 10,000,000 Cr. If it ends up being a "Gran Turismo" brand knock-off, the same 3,000,000 Cr. that the two more-powerful Red Bulls are rather than the 1,000,000 Cr. the knock-off Lotus is.

Damn, i guess i have a bit more grinding to do

If it is the official McLaren, I wouldn't be surprised if it's as expensive as the Porsche 917. There's only 6 chassis in existence, only one in private hands, it's the most dominant F1 car (in terms of single season), was driven by 2 legends - sky is the limit in terms of cost.

Also - rallycross ?!!!!!

And it will be - see @Artemis' and @Hasnain282's posts above (and below for the expanded text additions).

Hows about putting in the see driver in rear view mirror that was stated on sites selling the game and PD announcing it before release, knew I'd heard something about it before, but don't see no driver in me mirror. Watching the Opening Movie you can see it too, was it taken out for some reason?

No new circuit. Just the no-chicane layout of Montmelo.

The official MP4/4. I was surprised. Is car limited to running alone? Hope not. Otherwise, in terms of gamedesing, I think it would have been better to stick with the generic car and bring in other generic F1 models.

But, wow! Now that I've seen better! They brought more than one new layout as well, they brought Rally Cross.

Finally! I've always defended the addition of Rally Cross in GTS and GT7 here, as it has more consistency with the game's proposal than a dirty circuit race.

With that in mind, I hope they bring Rally Cross from Trial Mountain, Deep Forest and El Capitan.

2 new menu books

2 new collection extra menus, really. Unless they forgot to mention actual menu books, that means, at most, 3 new events at the alternate layouts of Catalunya. If I had to guess, it will be either a low-paying American FR/550 PP or 1960's road car/500-550 PP on the no-chicane layout, an even-lower paying low-PP a slightly higher-paying Gr.B event on the autocross, and a 800,000 Cr./hour (on PS5, lower on PS4) Gr.2 (or the equivalent 850 PP) event on the national circuit. We might get a 800,000 Cr.-for-gold circuit experience on the national circuit, but I doubt it.

One more thing - I'm surprised the Dior Mangusta is its own model rather than just a livery, especially since the existing Mangusta just re-entered Hagerty's and it wasn't silhouetted over the weekend. The questions are how much of a premium will it be over the existing one, and will it have the (weaker) 302 instead of the 289 that the current one has.

Edit - I didn't see the actual pics of the autocross circuit; the pay will be slightly higher than the American FR/no-chicane race, and will be for Gr.B cars.

Ok let’s turn the game on tomorrow, complete menu books, drive the new layout 2-3 times and we’ll meet again next month :)

Edit: I truly hope this will age badly tho, I want more events similar to those high-payout ones that would keep more people to the game, or even new mission sets would do
