Let’s hope they fix the weather radar bug so we can grind credits again on Spa and Le Mans.
I just did le Mans BTW, radar worked like a charm and was spot on, have to check Spa tho

Personally I'm less hyped about these cars, not really fan of American muscle, the F1.. I would probably park next to the lotus I never use, and the cayman feels like downgraded 911 to me 🤣, maby it surprises me , we will see, I will buy the Cayman 😁

The MP4 is likely to be the generic version, "Gran Turismo". And I don't see a problem with that. It's even better because it suggests the coming of other F1 classics.
Why is it likely? Plenty of other games have licensed the official car, no reason GT can't/won't. Their issue with Classic Team Lotus and resulting generic version doesn't automatically mean any issues with others.

I am really looking forward to wrestling that McLaren MP4/88 around. The 718 Cayman GT4 should be great fun and the Pontiac GTO will be a good laugh when going sideways.

I really think PD need to bring a generic junior formula and F1 car to the game.

Hopefully a fix for the incar driver driving one handed 90% of the time. be nice if they added the collection of F1 cars from GT3 , NTSC version as Pal only had 2 I think.

Nice to see the Porsche cayman gt4 and Pontiac gto judge, but i will proably wait until chrismas before playing again, i have got into assetto corsa with nearly 3000 cars so i am more than covered for a few months

Considering that the MP4/4 is likely to be the generic version, given the franchise's history, I hope they add generic models from the 90s and 2000s, especially the legendary Williams FW14, Ferrari F300 and Brawn BGP 001.

You mean the franchises history of having the 1985 Lotus 97T, the 2017 Mercedes or the Ferrari F10 and F2007?

There's no precedent set for anything. Keep in mind this thing was in the files as the MP4/4 too. It's far more likely it'll come to the game as it.

iWonder which NEXT F1 circuit would complement & was WON 1st & 2nd by this legendary F1 winning machine:

Imola / Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez / Circuit Gilles Villeneuve / Circuit Paul Ricard / Hockenheimring / Hungaroring /

Adelaide Street Circuit?

No. Gran Turismo 3: MP4, 97T and others classics, all generic models.

When PD put the two licensed F1 cars, in GT5 and GTS, it was the previous year's winning car. In addition, there is a contractual impediment to adding more than one F1 car, otherwise it would be encroaching on F1's commercial interests. That's what I read some time ago, I don't remember where.

I still think that GT7 desperately needs far more new/returning tracks than cars to be honest. I get that race tracks takes far longer to develop than cars but there's like barely any new circuits that have been added to GT7 so far.

Aside from Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, High Speed Ring, Daytona and Watkins Glen, the rest are all just tracks lifted straight from GT Sport.

Sorry for my terrible English.

The Pontiac GTO will probably be sold in the LCD, which most likely means at least another month with the UCD staying completely stagnant in terms of colours, mileage and missing “HOT” entries.

Can someone kindly educate me on the differences between the cayman and this new gt4?
That’s when you perform a Google search, but the Cayman GT4 road car is more or less comparable to the 911 GT3 road cars. Better optimized for circuit driving but without being overly stripped for daily comfort.

PD do not do themed/logical additions.

They added a famous Pikes Peak car a couple of months ago, during the same week that the real event was taking place, it was the absolute perfect time to add the hill climb track that they have the license for and yet....nothing.

Stuff from PD comes when it comes, and it's a random assortment. There is no rhyme or reason to any of it.

Something tells me that with that F1, a Formula Event / new track from F1 must be coming
See above.

I'm fully aware of PD's unwilling to provide atleast one F1 circuit which WILL UNdoubtedly BE COMING!!! :D

Solid set of cars, but hopefully there’s a substantial set of events added to make use of them.
I'm expecting no more than 9 new menu book events, 3 each for the Judge (probably a 60's road car menu book) and the F1. If there's a new track, there probably will be an additional 2 events (with one of the 3 at the new track a new menu book item). In no case will any new event pay more than 800,000 Cr. per hour.
I hope that MP4/4 will be immediately available at Hagerty after the update
Both cars will almost certainly be available at Hagerty's (yes, the Judge will be a Hagerty's car, not a UCD one) the cycle after the update drops as "HOT" cars. That's how it's worked for each update that has had either Hagerty's or UCD cars.

I'm sure you'd be willing to fork out the $$$ for the dev work involved for 5 cars

funny enough, I would. if they offered a comprehensive pack with modern performance cars like, Audi RS's, BMW M, AMG's and a host more of others newer cars - if reasonably priced.

(argubly more should have been in the game from the outset of course, and if thats what it takes to get a load of quality content, I don;t mind paying...but its unlikely to happen, and if following their mtx credits pricing, god only knows what it would cost...).

Anyway, I'd rather they just put a load of new events in and no cars/tracks one month (assuming doing all of that is too much work for PD to deliver quickly). That'd add more value/enjoyment at this stage, for me anyway.

This months cars, like most the others before, is pretty uninspiring for me. Not a big muscle car fan at all, don;t care about f1 cars when I play GT (unless they release loads of f1's to make a race interesting, if I wanted F1 experience, I'd buy the f1 game. having 1 or 2 f1 cars just feels half baked to me) and what is a basically a low end Porsche, when the game already contain loads of better Porsches. Although I guess may be useful/fun for lower pp races v typical Porsches.

We already have 8 911 road cars from Porsche, and only 2 post-1950s non-911 road cars (neither of which is a Cayman). While I would kill for the 959, or late-model 944/968, I think it's time for a Cayman/Boxster road car.

I'm partial to the Subaru hot wagons, though the closest I came to owning one is owning a Outback Sport that I had plenty of fun drifting in snow, mostly because it was a 5-speed and thus had full-time AWD. I'd even take the Dodge Magnum.
