GTA Online Heist Thread

Well, I had my first go at these last night and it wasn't a good start. First mission is to steal 2 cars and deliver them to Simeon? The 2 random people who join have much faster cars than my 4x4 so they arrive way ahead of me and deliver those cars. I wasn't expecting much from only the first mission, but I was expecting to be involved in some way...

Then I have no idea how to advance to the next mission. No explanation on whether "random mission" will see me suddenly spoiling any potential plot and skipping to a fully planned heist, or reduced to spectator again. I must have selected it though as I'm thrown into a second mission...

We have to steal a "coquette". Ok, sounds good. Only 1 other person this time who already has a muscle car ready so I jump aboard riding shotgun. Unfortunately though, I then proceed to sit and watch in despair as he drives incredibly poorly and takes 5 minutes to catch up to him (including a minute in a ditch we nearly got stuck in when he tried to cut across a mountain), where they promptly open fire with a sub machine gun and blow up the car. And us, as a bonus result.

Maybe I'd have stuck around if loading times between disappointment was less than 10 minutes...

Those aren't heists...

Those missions were in the game since day 1.
 
So some friends and I tried to complete the Pacific Standard finale and failed numerous times. Even worse was the fact that if you lost money then you would continue to keep losing it to a certain amount. Example: start off with 1 million, lose 50k, and die. You then start with 950k and if you lose say, 30k, you then start with 920k next time around. I don't think it's very fair that you start off with how much you had last instead of what you had when you got to the checkpoint. Eventually we just gave up since it wasn't worth the amount anymore.

Looking for a heist crew... I thought this would be easier but it has come to this. It seems like we have all been invited to a great party but we have also become wallflowers. Sure there are a small handful of members that have "hooked up" but what I am seeing most is complaints about randoms and general flakes.

We waited for an eternity for heists and I for one am tired of waiting. Let's get off our collective hind quarters and start assembling a team. Or maybe a few teams. This crew may not be your ideal team, but we have to start somewhere.

What I am looking for:

PS3 players. Mics: It really is a must to really get everything out of these missions. I am a West Coast player. Usually available between 6pm or 7pm PST on most nights but almost a sure thing Friday and Saturday nights.

I don't care what level you are nor am I interested in you exceptional abilities. Leave the egos at the door. That aside, all I really care about [in a crew member] is reliability and the ability to take your time and have fun. It is cool wherever you are from but I am locked into these time frames. As long as we all have time to complete our objectives, all are welcome.

I don't have any issue hosting. I have a very good internet connection and can handle the job in a fair manner. If you are interested in this crew and it is really important for you to host, I am cool with that as well. I don't care who runs the show. I just want to play.

I am ready to go now. It would be cool to get this going ASAP. PM me if you are interested and coordination can be handled there. Let's hope this works!
 
Anyone up for some heists right now? Currently sitting here waiting for people to join me and my friend and we're not really getting anywhere.
 
I will be hosting the Humane Finale at around 7PM GMT! Fair split, no setup missions just the big finale. Add me on PSN and I will start Auto-invite around that time.

I have one but it's a piece of 🤬

Can't hear anyone and it catches a lot of background noise.
