Tht's like ordering fries that were ment to be salted, and finding out they put nacho cheese and bacon bits on them. I knew the car felt nice when I drove the stock on, but sheesh, that thing's bloody quick!

I don't know if we can trust the speedometers in this game...

But the ETR1 seems to have the kerb boost problem.

I hit 146mph.

Never trust the in-game speedometers, even if the digital ones seem more accurate. Just hang on for a few days and wait for Broughy to come out with the true top speed values of each car.

Got ya.

Oh, and by the way, the RE-7B's spoiler is bugged on consoles too! It sounds like it's kerb boosting.

yes I know don't trust the in game speedometers but I saw 178mph

EDIT: Weird. After repairing the RE-7B (the front of the car was pretty messed up when it hit "178", it can't get close to the speeds it can do, but when I damage the car a bit, it begins to hit stupid speeds again.

I wouldn't be surprised at all, considering it happened already with the Banshee 900R, Slamvan Custom (AFAIK), and the Pfister 811.

If that number is real, jesus christ.

Ok, so, after testing...

According to the possibly accurate speedometer, the RE-7B will hit about 130mph when it isn't damaged. It will struggle to, or won't kurb boost off of the road.

After damaging the car heavily, the car begins to kurb boost off of the road at around 80mph, where the possibly accurate speedometer recognises a massive boost in speed. The fastest I've got the car to so far when it is heavily damaged is 178mph, but during this test, I only got to around 150-ish.

That is bizarre. o_O

Quick chat question. I have mine set to friends & crew, but I almost never have a mic in use. A co-worker recently got the game and we've been playing online a bit. With settings at crew & friends, am I correct in assuming that randoms in a public lobby will not be able to hear me just as I can not hear them. Not looking to broadcast my small talk & such out to the entire lobby, but crew & friends are fine. Likely a stupid question but I really never use a mic and am not familiar with the settings.

If I were you I'd just chat through a PSN party, the quality is a lot clearer there and if one of you disconnects from the session or whatever you'll still be able to chat.

It is glitchy, but when working properly you are correct; setting to crew and friends will only broadcast your mic to those in the lobby who are on your crew or friends list. However, if you enter a session with it already set on 'crew and friends' it can glitch where you are connected to everyone in the lobby. If you enter with it on 'everyone' and change it once in the lobby, it seems to work consistently. As well, you can always use the PS4 chat feature to be certain, however it does have a greater draw upon your bandwidt

It all depends on your driving though. You can have a modded class breaking car, but if your race craft is rubbish, I'll still own you in a Zentorno.

MASTER RACE!!

I feel the Stratos look alike will be very popular in free mode due to the fact of no back windshield. It's basically the Zentorno of sports class in that regard.

RIP Super balance. The last considered balanced class finally got ruined by Rockstar.

Sports class? Motorbike class? Compact class? Coupe class (IIRC)?

Also, I mean, it all depends on your definition of balance. These 3 cars are all still balanced, they just destroy everything that came before them. Regardless, this is why I hope R* adds some way to ban certain cars from races in the lobby menu - we have the perfect opportunity to have several sub-classes within some of the larger classes, we just need a way to enforce them.

Now that we're putting dibs on liveries, here's what my RE-7B imitates.

If anything so far, the current winner of this DLC in my eyes has to be the Gargoyle.

It's so freaking satisfying to do anything with it! Not to mention it's really cheap.
