:( it's not on gtaforums yet but it's only a matter of time I guess. Well, time to fill my garage with expensive cars so I have a money reserve next time i come back to playing this.

However, I think i'll grind enough for a savage plus another sports classic first :)

A biker DLC and an additional, customizable biker garage is a welcome addition to the game, after all the luxury themed updates we're getting.

Seeing that it came from that tezfunz dude, I'm not going to be surprised if it ends up true.

I just tried some SHANC-ing. Thanks to
Blowing up the armored car with a Buzzard (which is the bare minimum on how to do this the fast, SHANC approved way) is like:
    • Wait till they're slow or in a stoplight.
    • Launch 2 shots.
    • When they're ragdolled, you should manage to launch another 2, which could either blow up the car via the second missile, or have the first missile kill the VIP as he exits the wrecked car.
I've always thought that the NPC's could "hear" when the missiles locked on to target(like we can), so I've just been letting it rain missiles on the cars as soon I got the first "beep".

Now, I just took it calm and easy, and made about $100k in about an hour, including some crashes into buildings and stuff:lol:

I did it the way that's described in the thread on Reddit though. So easy, no need to go to flight school, just load up the creator and then pause and choose an invite session:tup:

Am I the only one who wishes for the ability to do ordinary & legal mundane work for money in free mode? Things that don't put a massive red dot on you in everyone else's radar screen? Currently the only free-mode, non-vip/ceo task you can do is rob stores. That gets old. I'm thinking...

Truck driver (or tow truck driver)
Taxi driver (could drive other players around for money)
Tug boat captain
Sight seeing tour pilot
Bounty hunter (of NPCs)
Crop duster
Hunting (bring animals to online!)
Also, I would love to see surfing and/or sailing mechanics added.
Gang clearing for money (ala RDR)
Nighwatch/Security guard (ala RDR)
Home invasion (ala GTA SA)
Cards/Gambling
Search & Rescue (coast guard or mountains with helos?)

They would have to all pay out competitively, despite that not being realistic.

Basically a big free mode activities dump so that in any open lobby players are doing a host of things other than killing each other and spawning windmills.

None of the online, money-making gameplay is very satisfying to me, to be honest. Being a criminal all the time is kind of boring.

If I get paid to fly, I'm happy. Coast Guard rescue would be awesome! Just give a new texture for the Annihilator, add a winch/rescue basket, and remove the cannons.

Taxi missions are in singleplayer, but I'm surprised we don't have them online. Its a very simple moneymaker, and wouldn't be too hard to implement as long as NPCs won't be insta-killed by griefers.

Also, this has been suggested hundreds of times, but I want to play vigilante side missions like the ones in GTA IV. Imagine a police update, where most personal vehicles could be equipped with lights, sirens, and cop decals!

Imagine being stuck as the convenience store clerk :P. I can only think of how much fun it would be to turn the tables on unsuspecting theives.

It would be really cool if your character could "blend in" and behave like an NPC until you choose to fight back against another player. If a clerk can pull an LMG on you, then imagine someone with a minigun. :D

You shouldn't be allowed to leave a heist mid mission.

You shouldn't be allowed to join a heist unless you are able to follow basic instructions like where to go on the map.

And last but not least, you shouldn't be allowed to join if you're a }€~€}'fjr idiot!

Honestly it's painful trying to do these with randoms, the missions aren't even difficult, people are just so stupid.

That's why you stick to doing any online work ever with fellow GTP'ers.

I could also do with a helping hand with whatever this SHANC thing is.

EDIT- Scratch that, maybe tomorrow as it's way late here.

It seems like people only ever stay in and want to make money on GTA on the Friday's when I'm visiting my dad , would help but I'm a solid 20 miles from my PS4

I've got an invite only session going now, if anyone wants an invite?
I'm assuming it's a SHANC lobby and I'm kinda curious to see why everyone keeps doing it. I'd like an invite if the lobby isn't already full. I don't need the cash just wanna see what all the fuss is about :P

Did some SHANCing with @STI9 and @250 GTO earlier today and conjured up around $600k. Not a bad way to make money, but it does get pretty mundane pretty quickly. Was going to use some of the cash to upgrade the Dominator Racecar, but I'm kind of having second thoughts. Is it really that much better than a normal Dominator? If not, I'll just keep saving up to buy a Tyrus without going completely broke.

This evening, I decided to try some of the stunt races with randoms. Take a guess how that went; the usually wrecks occured, I finished 2nd quite a few times, got beat on the home straight of a motorcycle race by slipstream, and the best part was as follows: I joined a race on Plummet where I deceided to use a Tyrus, since customs were off. I ended up getting wrecked by someone on the start straight and fell back to the rear of the field. Luckily, I was able to catch his name before he made it to far away. So, I spent 90% of the race passing people, until the final long straight where I was up to 3rd, with the two ahead of me in a Tyrus, and my "friend" from the start. I got around the Tyrus cleanly and started reeling in the guy who had sent me around. We were about 10 seconds from the finish when I gave him a slight tap to the right rear quarter pannel, muttering to myself "revenge is a dish best served cold". He managed to stay on track, madly honking his horn, and ended up 3rd. Meanwhile, it was a drag race between the two Tyrus', which suprisingly, the other guy kept it clean, and we passed the finish side by side...

...with me coming in second by two hundredths of a second. Totally worth it to send that guy spinning.

Moral: If you're gonna punt somebody, do it on the last straight, not the first.

They should do it like CSGO and have cooldowns when you leave. Because the amount of time it takes to get into a heist with randoms, and than the amount of time it takes to actually do all the missions...there should definitely be some sort of penalty.

Randoms are very stupid, but the worst ones or the ones that are stupid and greedy. There's nothing worse than giving a 20% payout to someone that causes a fail like 3 times.

I'll invite you, but I haven't done the flight school/creator part of the glitch yet, so I might leave you.

Or maybe there should be a refundable deposit of some sort. You pay $50,000~ to join a heist, it gets refunded if you finish the heist/heist mission, and you lose it if you leave.

As of today SHANC no longer works for me .

Was doing it last night and logged on this morning , done the usual steps ( start one , finish it , creator , start another one ) , and I get the cool down . Guessing it's not just me .

Well, Reddit seems to have found a new method of this Headhunter glitch, but with Sightseer and Hostile Takeover instead.

So, it's officially now known amongst us as..

Uhh..

Give me time to get an acronym together.
