Thought so. Do you know exactly how much it increases?

I haven't kept track, but it's somewhere round 10%. Negligible in the scheme of things, but it does add up. Iirc the charges only occur when you sign into or are signed into the MC. For example, a $4k charge become $4400 after you've upgraded. I'm not sure I'd run a business without at least the security upgrade as chasing the raids and such is just plain annoying.

I'm pretty sure raids will only occur when you have an active MC.

That is correct. When a raid is 'prescribed,' it only occurs once you sign in. That's why I only sign into the MC once in inside my active business; but much like how you get charged instantly when you sign in, the raids usually occur on a timer and once you pass the prescribed time without a raid the next sign-in prompts the raid immediately. As in, you register as MC and as the screen flashes that you're now the MC leader, the phone rings simultaneously with the alert that R* wants their money back and you're being raided.

Edit: As detailed in previous posts you can make money doing the businesses long term, but it is terribly annoying and cumbersome at times. Like other activities where R* has decided you've made too much money in too short a time or similar, just plan for things to go sideways in any manner possible. Like playing golf when you get an eagle on the first or second hole. Just expect to finish 6 over par because there is no way R* is letting you get an eagle for free. It is not allowed. Just bend over, and ask for seconds.

I am loving deadline. On specific maps I am rarely outside the top 2 at least in deaths. I play last standing rather than kills as I play defensively.

Problem I have though. Objective is to not die. Except for the winner the places are decided by kills.

Still making loads of money.

Sometimes you just need to know when to stop playing GTA

You need a girlfriend. Or boyfriend whichever floats your boat.
Might not help that person out if they got a girlfriend because that seems like that person could go bankrupt from child support payments if the activity on GTA is anything to go off of.

To this day I still have no idea what goes on when I pick one up. Aggressive dry humping, I guess.

Yan2295 posted this on GTAF about half an hour ago in regards to SP DLC:

"Hey all (and thanks Kirsty)!

I recently got some new informations that, I gotta admit, are very surprising, but also very interesting. Remember how I kept saying the the SP DLC is no longer a thing, that they basically cancelled it and forgot about it to instead use some of it and their efforts on GTA Online Updates? Well, apparently upper management are starting to seriously consider bringing it back, even thouh it would only come after RDR2 launches (and maybe not right after it, could be a while).

As we kinda guessed with the few things that were found about it in the files a while ago, mostly by Fun, thy already had quite a lot of work done before they "scrapped" it. I was told it is 60-70% complete - mo cap, tech animations and voice over are done. Basically the biggest part of the job is done, completing it would not be that hard.

Supporting GTA V with a DLC after RDR2 could also mean they will keep supporting GTA Online at least until this DLC comes out, in my opinion. That goes against the info I had a while back saying that they were planning to end the GTA Online updates around Spring 2017, but them changing their minds is not a very surprising thing.

As always, that's just what I heard, it doesn't mean it's all spot on or correct, and as I said above, Rockstar love changing their minds, but I thought it would be interesting to share. Now please don't go make videos titled "GTA V SINGLE PLAYER DLC CONFIRMED", or I'll bitch slap you. Thx. "
