Tried the glitch. My internet handles everything up until the rejoining lobby part where it promptly crashes. 🤬 you too, Verizon.

Oh well. I'll just have to grind Stunt Races + Trash Talk since I've never completed the Heists (still on the 2nd one's finale.)

See I don't get it. We are all part of a crew that has literally hundreds of members. It can't be hard to find three other people (even in your time zone which helps) to do heists with.

I can relate to him, since I work till 10:00 PM most days here, and the majority of US crew members are offline, and UK members are sleeping.

It's
Three
People

Timezones and working night shift permitting I'm usually happy to help out. Normally on from 3-6 pm GMT or can pop on a few hours after work at 7am GMT.

The at the races glitch works on PC. But all of a sudden I can no longer bet 10k. Did they patch it?
Just wondering this myself. Netted a cool 800k now I can only bet 1k a race even though I have over 250k on me. Just kicked me off the game too as I was counting the 10 seconds.

I think this is their way of patching it. Dammit. I was only able to do it once.

Well, I seriously doubt that this crew has 480 active members as it says when you look under Online-->crews in the pause-menu. It's maybe 40-50 that's active on the forums. Split that over PS3/4, Xbox360/1 and PC and you come up with very few/system

That 30k is depending on whether you manage to get a full lobby. Do it with 10 people and you're getting maybe 9-10k. Spend a couple minutes getting in then a minute to get back to the main lobby. I'd rather play some of the new import missions mixed with the odd sightseers in there. I did after all buy GTA to play it. No offence if you'd rather sit there doing the glitch I mean I've made about 2.5-3 million from it over the last few days.

Yes, three people who are:
- awake
- on the PS4
- playing GTA V
- not doing anything else
- actually interested in replaying heists that they've likely already completed countless times about 1 and a half years ago

EDIT
- able to connect

Last point is the biggest problem. I have a horrible Internet connection. It's the only reason I've never finished the heists. I've disconnected from the prison break finale around five times now, and I can't even upgrade my connection because the Verizon in my area is an absolute piece of 🤬, and I don't have the money for a package deal/satellite deal. So, in short, I'm essentially screwed until I move out.

On the heist topic toward the top of this page; I can understand the difficulty. While I haven't made any attempts myself to do heists with crew members(as I completed them all several times with personal friends previously), I can see it being difficult to find crew members to run heists with at times. While we do have a relatively large crew given we aren't a GTA-specific community, that crew is often divided into several sub groups, or cliques if you want to use that term. I think that perhaps that may be why there is sometime confusion regarding etiquette playing with crew members as each group tends to behave rather differently and other than the rare organised crew session they don't often interact or play together much. Many folks do not have, or do not use headsets which can make it difficult to complete heists efficiently, and there is often very little communication even in crew sessions. Even some of the 'crew' events are organised in private sessions and that may be partly because of the above differences in behaviour. I also tend to think that many folks wouldn't be comfortable asking for assistance from crew members outside their familiar group, and many don't want to bother/burden others. In summary, we are a large crew but I see that crew more as a collection of largely segregated sub-groups rather than one whole community.

On a similar note; I must apologise to @Dan as I didn't see your message looking to complete you daily objectives until late last night. As many I'm sure are aware I am often not in front of my rig although I may show online and even be in an online room. I often leave my character watching the telly while I am off doing other things around the house or elsewhere. Since the messages only alert you when sent and not subsequently; if anyone sends me a message and don't see a reply but later see me active in a session, feel free to send another message as it could be days before I notice the previous.

I'd rather take making 30-40k a time than being forced to grind through a 🤬 economy again.

Despite the glitch being "patched", it's still a good way of making money (roughly 30-40k every 2 minutes).

It's better than grinding Headhunter and Sightseer, anyway.

Based on the recordings & timing i have done:
I had to spent 2 minutes to join a race lobby, wait for all 30 players to join in, go through the pre-race menu and start off the race.
1:20 minute for me to do the glitch, get that winning victory screen and Post race menu shows up.
Then i have to wait 1:45 minute just to go back to a 25 player free roam lobby.

That was yesterday during the night where this glitch wasn't patched yet and i used to receive invites all the time with lobbies that fill up to 30 players easily. Now i rarely receive any invites of this so i had to join via Jobs in the pause menu. The lobby are mostly launched with 6-10 players at most and we only get to bet up to $1000 instead of $10000. I win less than $10K right now.

How much does other missions, CEO and Bikers give btw?

I reckon people should play jobs rather than do the glitch at this point. Less people are going to play 'at the races' since they cannot bet $10k so it will take longer to do each time.
MC contracts pay out up to ~$30k and can be done in invite only lobbies, all of them.take less than 10 mins and no loading screens (other than entering/exiting clubhouse). Way less boring and you would get more money.
Grinding Sightseer/trash talk would net you $200k in around 60-90mins.

I really, really wanna get some races going tonight on GTA PS4 with some in the GTP crew. Anyone down for that? Just regular, fun super/sports/muscle/ etc races think it would be fun

Play with the MTU settings and you can get a private public lobby. Wonder if it would work doing the glitch for the race in a public lobby to DC everyone?

It worked for me on PC. Although when you do exports the game sends AI at you which isn't worth it because I don't have any one coming after me when I do export missions in public sessions.

The AI on the export missions are ridiculous.

A repair cost of $34,000 just because of them is sorta ridiculous.

I didn't even crash the car, all of the damage came from their bullets.

I still get the AI whether with others or not so ditching the other players would at least rule out them.

I did one earlier and the car was between me and an AI player, literally the whole time till I killed him he just plowed bullets into the rear of the car.

Weird. I've never seen more than $3000 worth of damage during a mission, even with the AI.

I had to drive a high end car, if that makes any difference (ETR1).

Before I did source the ETR1, I sourced an Omnis and only took around $1500 in damages.

I had one failed delivery when two bad guy Sultan's spawned right in front of me causing the car I was delivering to flip on its roof between two sections of the raised freeway.

No matter what I tried I couldn't get the car on its wheels so I just closed the game. When I restarted that failure hadn't registered so my delivery rate is still 100%.

Between the pursuing cars and helicopters they are incredibly accurate when shooting and cause plenty of damage

All in all its a great way to earn money. The only things I don't like is having to chase down a car when it's already been stolen or the ones where you steal a car while it's racing. Sometimes I kill the driver first shot but other times I just wreck the car trying to get it resulting in a large repair bill.

The NPCs driving doesn't help either when you're trying to keep the damage down!

As I've been tired of the BS AI too, I fought against it with this, albeit lengthy, approach:

Steal:
- Kill the guards at a distance with a sniper/MG (Buzzard if suitable too)
- Get in the car and drive a short distance slowly until you see enemies spawn in
- When you see them, jump out immediately to avoid any bullet damages to the car
- Kill the waves of enemies (IIRC there are 4 waves for a top range car. Steal/Export)

Export:
- Yet again drive the car slowly so you can jump out safely as soon as you see enemies spawn in
- Take out the few waves of OP enemies
- Deliver the car with no damage (unless the AI motorists decide to change that)
- ez gg

By doing that I've stole and exported many cars without a scratch on them.

Whatever it takes to save that $2-5k ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
