ok is the Shotaro even worth it? I mean I already got the drag Hakucho...

If you want a bike that stands out like a sore thumb dipped in glow-in-the-dark paint, absolutely.

Was good fun earlier doing the Ruiner mission with a few of the GTP guys. The price tag put me off initially but after using it I can tell it's one of them cars that'll be fun for months. Now to grind another 4 million and we're there!

Same boat here. I'm going to wait a few months before the executive garages and vehicle warehouses are discounted. Knowing Rockstar, they'll give a discount to the Ruiner before the executive properties, so people will jump to buy one, then discount the executive properties.

On a different note, I'm not sure many people know this little trick but it's a money saver. It works for me every time but you know, usual warnings apply.

When you buy a car, if you go to LSC or Benny's you can fully modify the car however you like, even upgrade it in Benny's to see what the other mods look like. If you close down the game WITHOUT....I repeat WITHOUT leaving the mod shop you don't actually get charged any money and the car goes back to how it was before you messed with it.

Sometimes it's hard to know if you'll be happy with the car until you've fully customised it and by then it has cost a lot of money and even more money to change it again.

For example:
Took my newly purchased stock Nero to Benny's
Fully customised it how I like it
Took a screen shot
While still in Benny's I closed the game

Restarted:
Took my newly purchased stock Nero to Benny's
Upgraded it at a huge cost to the racing spec
Fully customised it how I like it
Took a screen shot
While still in Benny's I closed the game

Repeat until I had a few looks i like. Then i compared the screen shots and chose my favourite look without spending any money to see the various visual mods etc.

Works for me every time but again. If you back out of Benny's or LSC you will pay for the parts and the other stuff. Don't blame me if it goes wrong. Try it with a low priced car first.

Edit: while doing the above, the money will still be taken from your bank balance but dont worry, when you shut the game down while still in the mod shop it wont register it so when you restart your bank balance will be back to the amount it was at.

And don't back out to single player either, I hold the PS4 button and choose close application while still in the mod shop. Not sure if it works on Xbox or Pc

Thanks for the tip! I never knew about this. :) 👍

No trail. The shotaro is my favourite bike in the game but I have a very mundane colour scheme. It looks a bit silly in mad colours

Mine is white on both primary and secondary colors. Looks really nice, since the colored suits aren't bright enough, or properly match the shades I want.

yeah it looks a lot better with a tasteful scheme.

I keep seeing him driving a Lynx around. It's such a stupid car. Apparently he doesn't watch Broughy's videos enough.
Not sure if you're serious or not on that post but... Lynx > that overated Truffade Nero. I'm glad that i have spent my money on the elegy retro instead of that Chiron thing. Sadly everyone else seems to gone the other way around.

So now it costs 90k to resupply drug businesses, Rockstar really forcing people to get their waste of money shark cards if they want anything in this game now.

Come on Rockstar it's already rediculoiusly hard to make money and your nerfing the stuff that costs you millions to get up and running as well.

The cooldown period on the warehouse car selling makes this DLC useless for making money unless you have 4 people with you at all times to sell.

waste of money when you can make more just doing random jobs.

Following on from this little tip I posted earlier I stumbled upon this when messing with the paint stock wheels glitch.

When you order the Tempesta in one of the stock colours the wheels also have the painted fins on. However these painted bits vanish when you repaint the car. So if you want to get the little painted bits on the wheels back you can do it this way...

  • Take your Tempesta to LSC
  • Purchase some cheap non chrome wheels
  • Change the wheel colour to whatever colour you want the fins to be
  • Leave LSC
  • Go to the iFruit app and select the tempesta and order stock wheels. place the order
  • Go back to LSC and process the order

You should now have the stock wheels with fins in your desired colour:)

You can use the Rocket Voltic to launch cars and penguins in pyjamas.

Traded in my Adder for a Nero and tuned it up.

Also bought the cheapest office with two 20 car garages. Currently in the process of moving my supercars and luxury cars to it.

This is an awesome tip, can't thank you enough for this. The way the game charges you each time you change a part (or at least lets on that it's charging you) and doesn't allow you to hold on to any previously purchased mods is one of the most egregiously greedy/evil things about Rockstar's handling of the GTAO economy.

No problem. It's a pain having to restart the game but anything that saves wasting money is worth it. :)

I wouldn't call it evil, but it sure is petty.

I know this is ironic to say but since the only super car i own in the game is the T20 and a car i rarely ever use, should i sell it? and which new super/hyper cars are worth buying it? I'm considering getting the Nero or Tempesta.

It all depends on preference, but the Nero and the Tempesta seem to be some of the best value for money Supers to come out in a very long time.

Even in races the fastest vehicle doesn't always win and you can be competitive with a T20 or a Zentorno, especially in stunt races. If you don't find yourself racing that much and only really drive the Supers in mission free-roam etc then I would say pick your cars based on handling and looks. You can try my Nero/Tempesta if you like. I will probably be online tonight at some point. Usually in a public solo session with a few other GTP'ers.
The way I see it, the Tempesta is like a Zentorno v2.0 and the Reaper is like a Vacca v2.0 (performance wise in relation to cars around about them)

As @STI9 said. Just because a car is "the fastest" doesn't make it the fastest car for you. It depends on if the handling suit you. I guess I wouldn't be able to beat Michael Schumacher in a lap around the track if I was in an F1-car and he was in a reasonable fast car. Hell, I bet he could go around the track faster on a bike  But sadly not at moment of course :guilty: Cause I doubt that I would be able to handle an F1-car, but it's still faster than a bike.
I've got a Tempesta you can try right now if you want. I'm in a solo public lobby. Trying out Ally's way of keeping randoms out

It doesn't have to do with being the fastest, otherwise i will never get the Retro Elegy or any other non-super type of cars. At the end though, i sold my T20 for around a million or so and bought the Nero. Kept it stock apart from changing the paint to bright pink and lime green plus that dollar wheel with white walls. Couldn't get chrome because i had to win 12 races but otherwise, i can fit in with all other GTA Online players.

:yuck: I just had to do this for a reason but because i can't get this car in single player, i had to do it online. Thanks Rockstar Games.

Don't worry, i changed that back to normal. It's just black and yellow/orange with stock rims. :D

Question for those of you with a Cargobob.

Is it worth investing in one to do the vehicle stealing missions? Have you found that less often other players try to steal your stuff?
