Random thing I noticed about the Pacific Standard heist: Everyone puts on their masks and takes out their weapons in front of a security camera.

"If you didn't think we were threatening already, wait till you see this!"
*Puts on duct tape mask*

Imagine how long the cutscene would be if you had to watch him wrap his head in duct tape

I imagine it'd end up more like this rather than what it does actually look.

Bought the new Specter tonight, gonna take it to Benny's and upgrade it tomorrow. I like the car so far, hopefully it does good in a few stunt races.

*Heist leader sets down bag*
*Tosses paper bags to first two members*
*First guy pulls out mask*
*Second guy finds a sandwich*
*Heist leader throws a roll of duct tape at third guy*
*Third guy fails to catch it and it starts rolling away*
*Fumbles on floor trying to grab it and start wrapping it*

@Flash_Sweden what is more impressive. You managed to capture picture proof of the elusive @Jamesyarders. Some say he doesn't exits online for more than ten minutes, before the creatures of the NAighT reclaim him, and drag him back to where he came from, amongst obscene screams.

Well done. I'd expect a call from National Geographic any day if I was you...

Another thing about the Pacific Standard, the 4 Lectros that you need to steal for the finale are worth more than the actual take but they get destroyed
Yeah, no matter how you do the mission, they get destroyed lol

Is there a way to disable those PSN updates about what I've been doing? You know those "Player X robbed a store," "Player X had a makeover," etc? I don't need the game to broadcast what I've been doing in solo sessions and I don't care about the extremely minor activities my friends have done either.

EDIT: Accidental double post. :banghead:

Someone's been to the strip club a few too many times, I take it. :mischievous:

I think I might've been there maybe a total of three times since the game came out.

In all seriousness, what's the point of having the activities show up on the PS4's home screen? Why does it need to broadcast everything I'm doing?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your privacy settings. Have a look through the menu and see what you have enabled/disabled.

Obtained a Rocket Voltic.

...I've never had so much fun just boosting everywhere and seeing what I can land on. Would not suggest jumping the military base, though. Other than that, along with the payout for the Velocity VIP work being about $36k, it's a fun car.

Also, does anyone else find the Ruiner 2000 SecuroServ mission easy, even on hard difficulty? With the bonus cash (I think) it's a good way to make some money provided you don't have a complete airhead with you that either doesn't know the weapons button or goes to attack a tank...

The SecuroServ Ruiner 2000 is the ultimate scrub mobile... if it wasn't the Hydra. Traits include:

- Armor that can tank 20 explosions (even Hydra cannon fire)
- Unlimited homing missiles
- Stronger than usual glass that can't be pierced (but able to be broken via usual collision means)

That, and you can access it in free roam by starting the "Fully Loaded" CEO job. Of course you do need to own one of these to gain access to the real king of free roam, although for only 20 minutes. I've had the liberty of trying this out in rooms filled with jets ever since this info got to me.

I have never seen more salt since my many visits to the beach.

Not sure I'm reading things right but is the Ruiner 2000 limited to 20 minutes of use then there is a cool down period?

Not the one you buy, there's a specific VIP/CEO Work (like Sightseer) that becomes available for each Special Vehicle once you buy the vehicles. That VIP Work gives you a car of whatever one you chose for whatever work it is. However long the mission lasts is the time you can use the one the game gives you, the one you actually bought is usable for as long as you'd like.

The VIP Work in question for the Ruiner 2000 is 20 minutes long, and you have the car the game gives you for about 20 minutes (not counting the 30 seconds of self-destruct timer it has, I think.)

Great answer. Thanks :)

Two questions:
Are there any current discounts on CEO garages and special garage/warehouses?
Can the Ruiner 2000 be used in a solo invite-only session?

I believe the MC "businesses" are discounted, or at least they were yesterday when I bought one.

the CEO garages are not discounted but the décor for them is (or was when I was on last a day or so ago). The ruiner 2000 can be used in full public lobbies. I know this because I've encountered a few and killed a few of their owners. I think you only get 8 rockets though where as the one you use in the CEO mission has infinate ammo.

I know the R2K has limited ammo, that doesn't concern me. If there was one that didn't have any weapons, but retained the jump ability and parachute, I would buy that instead. I need to know if it can be used in private sessions, because I rarely play in public ones due to griefers.
