Interesting how missions are actually harder in multiplayer than when you solo them. Usually because some teammates doesn't always have the common sense not to break vital mission vehicles.

I guess that's why you get more cash when you complete missions with other players

This actually made me bust out laughing. Did that happen on PS4?
Yep. I was hiding in one of the underground tunnels (the one that's used in the jewery store heist), and they assumed I was using some kind of hack because they couldn't find me above ground. The funny part is that they passed the entrance to the tunnel a few times and didn't notice.

Wow. Maybe we need those elevation markers like in GTA IV. If another player was ten feet above or below you, their blip would flash a small chevron corresponding to their elevation.

I actually find it easier doing missions if the mission doesn't involve something that can get destroyed that's needed. I think it gives the AI someone else to aim at

I for one wouldn't want that being used on land. Mainly because of players being able to know if I, say, try to easily beat a bounty by being in the underground railway (or by being really really high in Zancudo/armed Yacht).

You have a point there, but I think it might be more useful to have it than not. Maybe it can be used to alert people that an aggressive player is on a different level in a building.

Anyway, since you brought up yachts, is there any way you can be killed on one with the defense system engaged? Sniper rounds and RPGs get destroyed, armed aircraft get shot down before their weapons can reach the yacht, and conventional weapons are disabled as soon as you climb aboard.

The bit with the sniper/rpg rounds.. is that real? Pretty sure you can still get shot. And there's the Technical Aqua. Or a Ruiner 2000 parachuting from certain heights.

I've watched several clips of people standing on their yacht and hearing the whoosh of sniper bullets and the "plunk" sound of the defense system destroying the rounds.

The player blips on my radar always show elevation when I'm on the ground or in an aircraft. Not sure if I have a setting turned on or something but I never have any issues with them not showing.

Mine do in game modes but don't think mine do in freeroam.

I actually find it easier to get shot because everyone is in such a hurry so there is no time to hide behind cover

And sometimes it's not even faster than soloing :P Yesterday I did the mission where you steal a Cargobob and go and pick up a container. We started at a nearby gas station, me and another person went and got the chopper, but nobody got the Buzzard so eventually we got picked up by the Police helicopters and couldn't shake them. I flew a couple of circles around the other players (who still hadn't left the gas station), hoping that someone had a homing launcher, but nope.

Had to fly back to Zancudo and pick up the Buzzard myself, then use it to defend the Cargobob from the army before my co-pilot had figured out that he would have to fly it now since I couldn't fly both at the same time. Eventually he did take off and we could start the "lose the cops" thing.

Once we had lost them he landed at the vineyard and abandoned it. Another player eventually took it and we could depart again. Only this time the other half of the team decided that the best way to get to the port was to drive straight over the mountain, so I had to fly over where they were and pick them up in the Buzzard.

Much delayed we arrived at the port. I landed and dropped off my passengers then took off again to provide air support and within ten seconds they were both dead and became spectators. Ten seconds later the Cargobob pilot landed (well, sort of) and got killed the instant he stepped out.

At this point I was all alone and our teamwork had resulted in massive time loss and 3/4 of us dead. So I landed the Buzzard at a safe location and got out, and then by proper use of cover (take note) took out all the guards before moving the container to where it could be picked up by the Cargobob.

Went to the Cargobob "landing" site and found the helicopter in a sad condition. Engines grinding and cutting off every now and then. Still, had no choice but to use it. Carefully picked up the container and then did my best with this heavy cargo and unreliable engine to get away from the spawning ground vehicles.

Miraculously made it to the warehouse with only a few more bullet holes, dropped off the container and at the same moment that the "mission passed" message appeared the engine cut out, the Cargobob crashed on the container, exploded and now we were all dead.

Fortunately the mission had already passed at that point so we got our rewards anyway...

So this here appears to be interesting:

The post i saw this seems to say that "PV Version is easily obtainable at last", but i have neither an office garage, nor a Dune, nor the money to try and see if it's as simple as driving into the entrance to the garage. Most i have to go off of are both the notifications for the mission and the save, as well as the fact that you can't really get a black Dune from Pegasus.
Can anyone else confirm the ability to store a Dune as a PV vehicle in an office garage?

Please tell me who it was so I can avoid their channel forever.

Rusty Ruiner?

Never seen or heard of one..

There's a destroyed Ruiner 2000 prop for a mission. I don't remember the specifics, but I believe it's in the bed of a Wastelander. Like I said, the rusty R2K is only a prop -- not an actual vehicle that can be driven. Unless you use a few mods and attach it to the regular R2K's virtual chassis, it's not going anywhere.

Anyone up for an Iron Man challenge?

Basically, you start a new character and the goal is to reach level 100. Simple enough? Well, the rules are:
  • If your character dies you must delete it and start a new one (so don't get too attached to it).
  • You can only use the Marksman pistol.
  • Races are not allowed unless they are GTA races.
