Anyone up for an Iron Man challenge?

Basically, you start a new character and the goal is to reach level 100. Simple enough? Well, the rules are:
  • If your character dies you must delete it and start a new one (so don't get too attached to it).
  • You can only use the Marksman pistol.
  • Races are not allowed unless they are GTA races.
Piece of cake!
*starts new level 120-character by "copying" my first*

Done! :P ;)

I based this look off how it would look as a premium Hot Wheels.

ATTENTION PS3 & XBOX360 PLAYERS!!!

You have until March 6th to buy a current gen console and transfer your characters. After that, you won't be able to again according to the latest Newswire.

Not everyone can afford next gen. I feel sorry for those who are stuck in what must be utter hell holes of lobbies on last gen.

For those on last gen who can upgrade, it's well worth it.

On another note.....I've not long purchased a buzzard and a cargo bob so of course they're reduced! Son of a b....

For those that are still stuck on old gen, I feel bad for them too especially since they're missing out on so much content on the next gen versions and if they're planning to get a next gen console along with GTA V past March 6th, they're going to have to start from scratch again.

This also means that you can't make and transfer any more modded accounts over to PS4 and Xbox One after they shut down character transfer. To some people, they might consider that a good thing.

Cargobob is definitely on my radar now. Just have to grind grind grind
it has paid for itself just by making the import export missions so easy (alone in a public lobby only though)

I've always been tempted to buy a modder account, just for the money so I can test new DLC before I buy it for my main guy. Hmm....

If that winds up being true, I may not even bother buying GTA for the 4 when I get one. I'm not interested in starting over for what would be the fifth time.

My account linked to GTP isn't modded but has modded money. My other other account is a full tilt modded account. Having the invisible body without having to do the glitch to get it is nice and being able to roll without recovery time is nice, but I hardly use my modded account anyway because I only play on it when I join into my crew's PS3 lobbies that are chock full of modded accounts.

I wonder if those on last gen, could ask someone on current gen to transfer their account before the deadline? Obviously it would involve trust and the exchanging of passwords etc but it can't be too hard?

That way they person in question already has their guy on current gen waiting for them when they upgrade? Is that even possible or am I talking crap?

It would be interesting to see a comparison of GTAO's end-game content in 2013/14 all the way to now. Just to see how far we've come. The first picture would probably be a guy wearing the most expensive/level locked outfit, holding a gold Minigun, and standing next to a chrome Adder with a Rhino or Buzzard in the background, all in front of Eclipse Towers. Now, it would be a guy wearing a ridiculously expensive outfit (Bonus points for a bulletproof helmet), with a gold Ruiner 2000, Shotaro, Insurgent, Swift Deluxe, a Cargobob carrying a Rhino, Savage, and Hydra all on (or hovering near) the Maze Bank Tower.

I know that people have done it that way. A couple friends had another modder in our crew do that for them. If I was to try that, I'd ask my crew leader and have him take my modded account over instead of my legit one because only a small handful know about it and quite a few people who I don't trust anymore know about my main legit account. Given the choices, I'd rather have an account nobody knows about with no money than the account everyone knows about with money.

This.

Also, no point in buying a PS4 and a copy of GTA if you have a crappy internet connection, another expense to consider.

These days, I'm more inclined to use crappy connection to get into one of them fabled private public sessions.

A far cry of the past when it's way more fun with more people.. oh how the Hydra has changed opinions so quickly.

When you can essentially create a private public session whenever you want, they don't really become fabled. Haha

On PC, just unplug your Ethernet cable for about 3-7 seconds and you'll get timed out into a "private" pubic lobby.

Meanwhile on PS4, just join a full public session. I guarantee that you'll get disconnected within five minutes.

It depends on if you have an internetconnection from the 2010's, or if it's from the 1990's. I rarely get disconnected from entire lobbies, unless I want to of course:D

Oh believe me. My internet is from the 2010's. It's just the P2P connection that's the problem.
