Hot damn, I did not expect the Zentorno to be placed so high. And here I was, thinking of selling it yesterday. :boggled:

Anyway, since I'll have to do Import/Export missions soon and preferably with crew members, what is the best assault rifle/LMG for shooting down enemy choppers? Just wondering since I'll probably have someone fly a Cargobob (Or possibly I'll fly it) to carry the priority vehicle, and have someone else sit on the side to defend the chopper. Also, can the person sitting in the back swap seats from left to right? I know in one singleplayer mission you could do that, but I don't know about online.

My personal recommendation is to do I/E activities in a solo public session. MTU800 will get you a solo session, just don't forget to change it back when you want to join other folks. If you're concerned about the AI choppers that attack after you hook a vehicle with the cargobob, there is a trick to avoiding them. When you hook the car, do not travel laterally from the site right away, but simply rise vertically to gain some significant altitude. Once you've gained altitude, you can then angle the nose down and proceed to make way at the maximum forward speed. Doing this the AI chopper cannot catch you. I've noticed most folks only gain a little altitude before they proceed away from the pickup site, which causes them to have to slow several times throughout the flight to maintain altitude, which is what allows the chopper to catch up and blast its ray gun at you. This works because the AI choppers only spawn once you've travelled a distance from the pickup site. Going straight up first allows you obtain an adequate altitude that you can burn off to maintain forward momentum before the chopper spawns.

Or, you can just 'Find New Session' when you get tedious and annoying pickup missions...

Don't tell me 1 shot from a pistol can penetrate the tanks armour?
It's a bit of a stretch, but you can shoot through the vents on the rear quarters of the Rhino.

At least I think that's where the weak spot is. Don't remember exactly.

Are there any missions where I have to engage the enemy and if I fail a pickup mission, will I lose money?

Since you did not purchase the cars, but rather are stealing them; there is no loss of funds if you fail to pickup the car. Some of the missions are annoying, such as the barge pickup and certain others where you have to kill AI to get the car. For most of those, I land the chopper nearby, kill the AI from the ground, then go hook the car peacefully. There are some where the car is being held by police at a traffic stop, and those I do the same; kill the police from the ground, call Lester to remove the wanted level, get back in the chopper to hook the car and take a lazy flight back to the warehouse. The only time you will funds when you fail a 'mission' is if you fail a sale mission, as you will lose the repair funds and the upgrade funds. I've yet to have that happen.

Ok, thank you. In the past while working for another GTP member, I was prompted to customize an ETR-1 for free before all four of us drove in other high-end cars to the selling location. Why was it free?

It's a static charge ($20k I believe) to modify the cars for sale. Obviously, the owner of the warehouse has to do this. Whatever mods you apply to the car are irrelevant to the cost/value.

As detailed above, the CEO paid a flat fee for the upgrades. It's the only fixed expense you incur doing I/E work, as the only other expense is for damages which are variable and mostly within your control.

How often do you encounter brutal AI during the drive to the selling points (Traffic or enemies)?

I tend to do everything with the cargobob, so the only opposition I deal with is the AI choppers I described above. They only spawn on certain pickups like the Photographer and Stunt locations. Everything else is usually easy, although if I get the barge or police chase pickup(you'll see) I don't hesitate to 'Find New Session.' If you drive the car by road expect to average a few thousand in damage charges. Cargobob is where it's at.

Alrighty. Thank you very much.

I keep buying utter nonsense.

Held this back from when the Specter came out ages ago, now it's time.

Before I begin, I want to say how hard this is to say what car is better in this DLC.

They are all so good, and adds something to the car roster we have. The pricing is also decent, with no car aside from one reaching the 2 million mark, so it's not as much a chore to get than the stupid X80. In tandem with the new car warehouse (the real winner of this DLC), this is a good update for making money.

I'll go through all of the vehicles. Initially to have gifs, but I'm not dumping 100MB into this one post.

GIF: weaving through some overpass pillars.

This car is the car I wanted to own ever since I got access to mod menus.

The best I can compare to with it is how it's a 1 million dollar upgrade to the Voltic: a car with drag racing potential as high as the 811 due to it's really fast launch. The base model's customizations are also really varied: more than any other super. While you can make it a Benny's, I recommend keeping it as is, for performance and a proper street look. The price is also great, but it's no budget rocket, unlike the Penetrator and the Zentorno.

Come a new car, however, and we have flaws. It's sound is pretty dated, and it's not exactly nice looking. What is this supposed to be anyways? The car has identity, but it's an identity crisis, especially after turned custom. Safe to say the car is some kind of monster. Also: the drive, for a 4WD, is pretty twitchy: you're probably not going to like it unless you're going to be challenged.

If you can get over how it looks, you will know that both models of the Itali GTB can be a solid car for normal and Stunt races.. better get the regular though.

GIF: A monster movie!

Woozie's car finally makes it in GTA Online, but can it even help the blind as well as they are so lucky?

Aside from Fast & Furious influences, the car tickled my insides in 2 ways: being based off my favorite GT-R (the R32), and the fact that it's owned by one Wu Zi Mu. Giving us a visual upgrade in almost all ways (sound, body work, decals and more), it's gotten a performance downgrade. And unlike the Itali and the Specter, I can shrug that off as it's obvious an older car would be slower, and strangely has better handling capabilities than the RH8.

The model the car's based on allows me to think of a Gran Turismo themed video I have in mind with the Sultan RS and the regular Banshee. Just got to wait for a Jester Retro (Mk 4 Supra), a proper classic NSX.. a man can dream, right?

Suffering from being a Benny's car, that'd be the only issue I have with this. Possibilities of people running around Paul Walker tributes.. with chrome dollar rims..

GIF: Nero v Nero.

The true successor to the Adder, with competitive edge that gives it value. A feat the Nero has proven and undeniably deserves.

What really made the Nero so good is that it's many traits that stand out. Exemplary top speed (to compensate on it's bad acceleration). High stability. Big angry sound! And best of all: it's not worth too much! And I'm still surprised that this car: a Chiron, would be less common than the more expensive T20 and X80. I mean.. bragging rights and release time aside, I'd expect a lot more of these babies on the street.

Plus: while most Bennys vehicles are straight downgrades, the Nero's is quite the opposite. Not to mention.. BUGATTI VGT?

Way to cater to the racer side of your fanbase, R*. Speaking of racer, the Neros, while competitive in it's class in almost all ways, are the reigning kings of Stunt racing. Fancy a golden stunt medal? Then go get one!

It's however still based off a cumbersome ugly Bugatti. Not everyone will have that taste.

GIF: Beach rumble.

Another competent sports car, and will not cost you as much as other new options. But the sound.. *make up your own squealing sound here*

Really two things you do want to own a Specter for: the beautiful sound and if you're someone who has a passion for Aston Martins. There really isn't much else it can give. The Massacros and the Seven-70 are the better Astons for racing, but aesthetic wise, we have the Specter. Not to mention it's a little more expensive than them too.

Making it custom gives a much more low key look than the other cars, which is I think a plus. I did want to do this to the Itali, but for my books, tow hooks kills the looks (mad rhymes dog).

Then why did I buy it? Simple: you don't buy certain cars to race, and this is no exception.

GIF: Burnout.

The R* response from GTA Wise Guy's Outlaw & Tuners DLC concept, and what a response it is!

We all wanted an RWB Porsche outside of NFS 2015, and we got it. Hooray for us! But what it adds to the regular Comet, well.. I don't want to talk about it. It's got all those options for either a street toy or a race bred.

The car exists for fanservice, really. Nothing else. My Comet still is the regular one, which really shows to me how unimpressive this is.

GIF: Penetrating the sound barrier.

It's about time we get the one and only JAG in GTA, and one that's obviously a step ahead from the Lynx.

But what made it here is the price tag, especially compared to said Lynx. Back when the Turismo R came out, 500k was considered the "wealthy enough" range. The release of heists and further updates changed the economy in a way that 1.5 million would be that threshold for "wealthy enough" with the new ways to make money these days. The performance itself isn't the best, but it can get you places high enough to say this Jag still got it.

The Penetrator becomes, if you ask me, the real choice for a Super under a million, especially if you want to stay away from Italy, and want something that's an Entity but is.. well.. A JAG (with a V12). The Penetrator's characteristics rival that of the Entity XF: track competitive, mid-engine, rear biased 4WD, super high grip, a loose choice to hoon or not, and being based off cars that shaped up the hyper car genre. As such: it's easy to drive, easy to get, easy to enjoy and easy to not be disappointed.

My only let down is the engine sound. It's not exactly what I want. And that it's pretty rare. It appears the kids these days don't appreciate 90s car icons.

GIF: Tornado.

The new racing star of Online. Or the Lightning McQueen of the Super cars: the young rookie destined to make a big name.

So, at first glance, the Tempesta exists only to be the new racing Super to go for in a budget, beating the Zentorno and the X80. That's true, but that's no way to treat this thing. Firstly: the performance is an all around goodie. You're not likely to make mistakes with it going fast, and if you do, it's nice enough to go back to send you on your way in no time.

Of all the new super cars, the Tempesta is the most track worthy, most fun to drive, and costs a lot less than most of its rivals. It's not perfect, but hey: nothing ever will be. Like the Penetrator, it's also pretty rare, but I hear more and more are getting hands on it.

GIF: The Guts interferes a smooth ride

The first bike to receive the Benny's treatment. But what are the opinions of "Jake the Outlaw" and "tamed competition animal The Guts" above?

I'll be honest, this bike's a bit disappointing, but I bought them. TWICE. Why, I have no idea. It's a more expensive version of the Defiler or the "u es nt huvrcreft" Vortex, and performance wise will not win you anything. Also that it's a Benny's.. not looking too good for this Principe. But what I do like is everything else.

Sound is just right. Weight is heavy, but is properly attributed in both versions. The regular version is great looking if you want a modern cruiser, while the Custom is.. well, a pretty balanced ride, but can't match the many other sport bikes.

full

GIF: Turnabout.

The second bike: a proper cafe racer! At last! But it can be more. And it appears The Guts try to flee the outlaw behind him. Hmm...

The FCR is the cafe racer everyone wants. But it's more. You can have.. military, classic racer, a brat bike.. there are a lot you can do to this, and you're free to get creative. But that's really about it from me. It's not as swift and light as a cafe racer, and I find it unsettling to give it the engine sound of the SHOTARO of all things.

As I say over and over: this DLC has the best car selection since..

emm..

Since when do all the cars end up being desirable to own? The bikes are also super additions, just unfortunately under a Benny's restriction unlike their Bikers DLC brothers.

They're all winners in my eyes, just that based on some facts, some go higher in my view.

They would be the Penetrator, the Nero(s), and the Tempesta.

But if I had a say at what's the people's award winner, it would go to the Elegy and Comet, for sure! All in all, a great DLC for car nuts like us.

Unrelated, but my favorite gif would be for the FCR.

The only thing that took my attention is that Penetrator.

Everything else seems like a normal day to me. But it also bugs me why didn't Broughy just use a specialized stunt track for these speed measurements? Surface speed differences?

I had the same thought the other day. Probably no reason to change it; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I know he said something about how the speed was determined by the distance between two of the checkpoints. Possibly had to do some math to figure out the exact distance. I can understand not wanting to do the calculations again, so maybe he already has it figured out for this track, and feels it would be pointless to have to recalculate everything.

I've never really used the creator, so I honestly wouldn't know.

The Adder, Nero and Penetrator should all be higher up the list. The cars they are based on all had record breaking top speeds when they were released.

It's really more towards how I think the Penetrator is attributed to the Entity, since they're both very similar. But now that I think of the Entity..

With almost all vanilla game super cars getting an upgrade through DLC (Bullet to FMJ, Cheetah to X80), when will we get us a Regera for that one super that doesn't have a successor yet?

Dan
Damn. I really need to play. Are you doing this solo?
I/E is deffo a solo venture, you can sell multiple with more people but it's not any quicker I believe as the cool down is twice as long for 2 cars, three times for 3 so unless you're planning on doing the session glitch with Netflix etc to reset timer you won't save any time.

I'd say the changing date to 2018 briefly to get a solo session or changing MTU to 800. That'll get a nice solo session for you.

Also I've done a few of the Cargobob missions and they are quicker than driving and less damage but don't have a Cargobob of my own. This is something I'm working to change as I think it'll really help.

With the year glitch do you have to be in your apartment or is that something else?
