Try adding him and ask him to invite you, or try joining now and spectate, that seemed to work for me.
 
Ahhh.... I think I can't join until I've completed the online tutorial.
 
Found myself to be pretty good at the races. Applying decent driving techniques to the usual GTA spam war works well.


EDIT - No, wait, I'm freaking awesome at the races, on a win streak of 9 so far, everyone just crashes, its quite amusing :lol: Good pay too

^Yeah the GTA Races are awesome, good time with a bunch of the GTP crew earlier.
 
Yeah I love the races, they're a great laugh.
But I decided to get off online for today in case my game gets stuck on a screen and won't save :nervous: I had fun today anyway. 👍

I know, However i havnt killed anyone in free-roam yet. Atleast i set my Vehicle to Crew+Friends only to drive it. I dont trust strangers :P. I havnt even shot my gun once in Free-Roam.

Why does it keep telling me someone put a bounty on me?

I'm in an invite only lobby, playing on my own and every time I go back to free mode after a mission I get a text about a $7,000 bounty!
 
Had great fun with the crew today, I'll be playing this quite a lot over the weekend so I'll accept any invites I get.

I think it's just to let you know that someone did it. I think you get a trophy for surviving with a bounty on "your head", so it might because of that as well.

It wasn't me, by the way.

I haven't been online after the patch released, has anyone done any of the Simeon missions and not get frozen? That was a problem for me, it would freeze up after I passed one of his missions, it'll progress and save and all that but I'd have to reboot my PS3 - I really hate hardbooting.

I'll be on later tonight (8ish) if anyone's online :).

But I'm in a room on my own? Who could have done it. I stole a car, sold it and got a message saying "You stole my car, I'm going to make you a slab", or something to that extent.
 
I'm from Chile, and GTAO have been really smooth, no problem at all.
 
Something interesting.
Got to level 6 on my 2nd character, bought garage, etc. Well I had to go buy taco mix, so I turned ps3 off, came back on an hour later and I had garage, level 4, and 27k in the bank. I can still use garage, but I can't upgrade it until I reach level 5 again.

I'm not sure if it could be the player you stole the car from. If it was an AI-car, I have no idea.
 
Finally managed to play for a few hours and as expected, it's not for me. I'm just not a social gamer and I can't have fun with randomers spoiling the fun, people talking nonsense on the mics constantly. I also didn't find the selection of things to do particularly fun, deathmatch I don't care for, I was expecting something similar to the single player game but with a group. A lot of the 'missions' are just deathmatchs with one kill, don't find those fun at all and hardly a mission. There are a couple of capture the flag type 'missions' and then the vehicle repos. I tried joining a GTP room a few times, never seemed to work.

Think i'll stick with single player, as I do most games.
 
Think I've lost my character. TheKitten sent me an invite to a race and it said I needed to have a character to go online. -_-

I was playing as Franklin at the time, btw.
 
I had a lot of fun doing GTA races with Kitten, Daz, Trav, Olly, Maccer, JacobJa etc and I've now got $40k stashed in the bank. Those GTA races were pretty hilarious, especially at the airport.

So, the races are the fastest - and funniest - way to make money online, or? :confused:

Well this is odd, no matter what car I'm in, I can only accelerate to third gear and sit low in the revs. If I go on the motorway all the AI traffic is overtaking me because I'm at top speed. Anyone else had this?

I've had something similar, even worse. :lol:

Car would get out of first gear and then would just sit in second, mid revs. I shortly left after that, and it seems to work now.

Oh, and I don't suppose you guys have room for just one more person in the GTP crew? :p

I've found that online is only good if you do it with friends because every other time everyone is just running around killing each other. I got killed the other day, straight after I spawned, by a guy I hadn't even looked at!

Just joined the GTP crew, SubieSVX is my Rockstar Social Club name and Subie_SVX is my PSN. :)

Look forward to doing some missions! :D
