Is there a limit to how much you can bet during a race?

I just thought (probably common knowledge) if 2 people are grinding races, taking turns to win. You could both bet on each other to win and make even more cash..?

Depends on the race. Sometimes its a max bet of $2,500. Some bets START at $2,500. Not sure what those max bets are.

The other night, I was on a mission with a Spanish speaking player. I only understand a little Spanish(thanks to a foul mouthed ex girlfriend), but the guy's daughter walked in the room and asked him a question.

He launched into a full on rant, using abusive language I'd never use in front of a child (or a woman for that matter) before telling her to bother her mother instead. Point is, I'd take some childish fart noises over a frightening glimpse into a potentially abusive home any day.

For those who don't know, if you hold down the select button, you can change the chat settings. I changed mine to friends and crew only after that.

I have had my voice communications set to "private only" [360] for the last couple years. Just for that reason. Gave up on the community a long time ago. Either people singing, yelling at their kids, being ignorant, or racism. I live in the xboxlive 8 player party chat now.

I will save that for the 400k apt with the 10 car garage. My 6 car garage just isn't enough at all. And no window view. Which is a shame since my apt is in the Marina and would have been such a beautiful view.

I also still haven't bought a boat or helicopter yet. hmm.

I've got the 400k apt, and in my opinion the view it has isn't too great, overlooks Vinewood hills houses and the golf course. The 391k apt has a better view from what I can see in this video as it overlooks the city.

I still have room for 8 more. Knowing the pricetags on tuningparts in LSC, it'll eat up my $ 500k easily.

They will be very small, but you can see any players in range. Tested it out yesterday... a couple people got into a fight outside my apt

The $253k apartment is nice too. Great view of the golf course. And its a 10 car garage.

I am looking to get them eventually. I was planning on playing the game organically for a bit and see what pops, then finish off the requirements for trophies I dont get.
But if you want to do a bit here and there for the grindy ones, add me on PSN. Hours on end of the same mission is not my thing. I like to mix it up a bit.
