I'm down for high end living, and allowing the start of a Heist in Paleto Bay.

Long commutes all the time. And a free teleport to there when you have a finale up.

Question

Just made a online character in the ps3 and got him to level 4 So now when i load this character to the ps4 version i will get the railgun right? And can i use the railgun offline?

You see the weirdest things when out on the road...

They were just chopping each other with Machetes on a mountain at midnight in the middle of nowhere.

Celebrate the holiday season in Los Santos now through January 5th with the Festive Surprise 2015 for GTA Online. This year's holiday treats feature a whole new collection of free seasonally appropriate clothes and accessories for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This includes:

  • New Santa outfits and a new collection of snug Pajamas
  • Masks featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Bad Elf, Crazy Gingerbread, Festive Luchador and more
  • 3 Christmas themed Car Horns
  • Christmas Trees at Legion Square and in all owned Apartments, Stilt Houses and Yachts
Also, all festive attire from years past will be available during the holiday period for all platforms including original Masks and Clothes from both last year's Festive Surprise and the original 2013 Holiday Gifts. Plus keep an eye out for special gifts on all platforms during the holidays, including the chance for a few snowball fights during the rare phenomenon of Los Santos snowfall in the forecast as well as some special additions to the growing collection of fun Adversary Modes on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

I don't think it's worth transferring a level 4.
The railgun is for returning players, but NOT for Online.

It's an incredibly strong, but expensive, tool for single player. And you get it about halfway in the game.
but that's what i don't get i have both the ps3 and ps4 version and yet i just beat the ps4 version and i didn't get the railgun? What do i have to do to have it unlock?

I believe the Railgun unlocks after Minor Turbulence, the mission where you crash a Crop Duster into the rear of a Cargo Plane and hijack it.

I get this in every single session I connect to. If I'm lucky I will stay for around 40 minutes before it gets me, usually it's 15-20'. And on top of that, if I try to find a new session I time out while loading. *grumpy*

@Carl the Sloth, I can assure you that Paleto Bay is one of the most peaceful and welcoming places there can be in GTAO. I have an apartment there (4401 Procopio) and it's saved me from a lot of bounty hunters. Paleto is also good for roleplaying (if that's your cup of tea) and hanging out with friends without worrying about griefers. :)

I used to have a place in Paleto Bay, it was nice. Might get it again. Might trade in the Del Perro place for it (got a place in the hills for heists).

Usually not too much tomfoolery out there. Would like a decent place in the country.

As for the session folks 'leaving en masse', it happens to me on occasion (often).

Or you know. You can buy it off the Ammunation after that mission

thanks guys i got it :cheers::gtpflag: i didn't have a Rockstar Games Social Club account so i made one then log into the ps3 version follow by the ps4 version in there it was HAPPY DAYS

The festive horns are great, my Tampa will for sure have one, and I redid my Rhapsody to be Christmas themed.

I dont know if this has been posted before or if I'm being a noob. I think I have found the Heavy Revolvers party piece. Shoot a car in the rear 3/4 panel, roughly where the fuel filller cap is (either side doesn't matter) and the car just detonates, sometimes 1-3 hits. I discovered it by randomly one hitting a pursuing baller.

So, how many is that for an Insurgent? 30?

Could the revolver be a good substitute for the Heavy Pistol? Also, I haven't heard much about the Tec-9. What are it's benefits and drawbacks?

It does 4 times the damage of the heavy pistol, but it has a huge amount of recoil which kills the fire rate, and it only fires in single action (hammer is pulled down after each shot) which kills the fire rate. You have to use this thing from a prepared position if you want to get kills with it.

It doesn't seem like that useful of a weapon if you can easily get blasted by a player using an automatic weapon in the time it takes to line up your shot and pull back the hammer.

I can see it's potential in deathmatches, but it's about as practical as you would expect a hand cannon to be.

Also, it somehow does more damage and has more recoil than the .50 pistol, despite it being larger and firing a (presumably) smaller caliber.
