I'm so glad Broughy made that video. If someone had to tear Rockstar a new asshole, it would have to be him. He's done more testing and fact finding than the majority of the GTA community as a whole.

Rockstar is more than likely going to ignore it like they do with normal players. It's a joke, but the joke is also a toss up between Rockstar's complete lack of respect to its players and the gullibility of the players who take anything that Rockstar says and worship it like gold.

By the end of that video, I was wondering why Broughy even bothers to make a rant video. Sure it helps to get it out of your system but in the end, no one cares. It's pretty harsh, but sometimes being blunt is best. We all love his videos and appreciate his research but in the end...

It's a serious legal situation because people went and bought shark cards since they didn't know the truth about these cars. Rockstar LIED in order to make money. False advertisement can have legal repercussions, but people need to stand up to it first.

Like Broughy said in the video, they could make the case that they can compete with the T20 and Zentorno, just not actually be competitive against them. The worst NBA player can compete against Steph Curry, but they won't be competitive against him

That is certainly true. I really hope that people make Rockstar own up to it, but it's a catch 22 because either Rockstar will silence those who speak up by deleting their post or blatant fanboys will troll those who reveal the truth. It's unfortunate, but hopefully, since the pocketbook is the ultimate voting factor, people vote by not buying cards and not playing GTA until they either stop advertising it as faster or buff it to be faster.

That probably isn't going to happen any time soon since some people are that gullible they'll continue to buy Shark Cards regardless since they believe it won't affect them.

I only bought a card to burn off PSN balance money a while ago. That was and will be the only time I buy a card. I remember a friend who spent $100 on a card and had to fight Rockstar to get his money. Ironically, that became leverage when he tried to ban his account because it was modded when he threatened to sue them for both withholding his shark card and for deliberately targeting him as a ban target. They left him alone immediately after that.

Rockstar would only care if enough people ordered a class-action lawsuit against Rockstar, but I doubt that would happen, unfortunately. More game news websites need to cover this story and encourage readers to be cautious about spending money and take Rockstar's announcements with a grain of salt until the claims can be proven or disproven. Those sites right now are only caring about the future of the series and not what is happening right now.

It's not competitive, but it can compete with them, which the post says. There's a difference. I could feasibly compete in a race with Jeff Gordon, however it would not be competitive, same situation. Personally I think they should both be in Sports or their own Race class, but that's just me

The Slam Van can compete against the top tier super cars, it won't win but it can compete. I could compete against Roger Federer at tennis but I wouldn't give him any competition.

It's sad but R* aren't stupid. Everything they advertise will have been proof read by legal eagles. I think what we've all learned is that anything we get DLC wise will be just what they want to do to make money. We are just a bank to them, they don't care about anything other than money.

We love a game that uses us and abuses us. It's basically Stockholm Syndrome.

I never bothered to vote kick cause it takes virtually everyone to vote for someone before it actually makes them leave. I was in a private lobby with 8 once and it took 6 to kick the person out (I didn't vote). That's almost impossible to work in practice because most people who piss people off in lobbies have others in that commend to cancel out a few of the kick votes.

Crew logo still being stuck on the car even after removing it, parts bought on the Sultan RS and Banshee 900R being removed and for the most infamous bugs of them all, not being able to join your friends through the in game friends list and stats getting reset randomly.

Those are fresh bugs, I expect that those will be patched soon.

Yeah you're right but I think the misleading part can be argued against it due to interpretation. What's misleading to one isn't misleading to another. But again any way you cut it, legally, morally or whatever its wrong in my eyes.

Every view point is valid in my eyes, right or wrong, agree with me or not the fact is that R* are ****ting all over us.

Thankfully speaking about the missing parts bug with the Sultan RS and Banshee 900R, it doesn't affect all the parts but at the end of the day it's still annoying. Hopefully it gets hot fixed with the Valentines Day Massacre 2.0.
