With the paragliding and dirt bike shots, i'm seing much more countryside then i was expecting from this version of Los Santos 👍

I was imagining, from what we've already seen and been told about it, that it would be largely an urban playing environment with a little bit of countryside around the edges - but this is more and more looking like a San Andreas sized area.

3 new screen shot positions are still empty on the official website too!

More important: they added the 3 empty spots after adding these 3 new screenshots.
So hopefully we get 3 new screenshots every 2 weeks or so.

I hope the online is better too. Whenever I'm playing with friend, and for some reason we need a specific car, GTA IV seems to only spawn Dukes and Cavalades.

Connection updates would be helpful as well.

Came to think about it, it's quite amazing how far Rockstar has come in the process of making open-world games. If you didn't know about it the 6 latest screenshots could have been from 6 different games, as far as graphics goes. 👍

I'd say they're Console versions. The first image of the car doesn't look great.

Really? It looks fine to me. My WORD people, you're not going EVER get perfection. It's a video game, it's a Rockstar game and it's a GTA game, so either quit complaining about every little thing, or stop posting here.

I swear, every time I come to one of these threads, my theory of the GT5 Curse becomes more valid. Just because 1 game didn't "live up to expectations" doesn't mean EVERY game from there on will do the same. Look at Forza 4 and Sleeping Dogs, both great games that surpassed expectations. Geez. If I didn't know any better, I'd think the world was coming to an end or something all the complaining going on in the gaming community as of late...it's like a nursery in here.

Relax, will ya?

First of all, he didn't complain, and secondly, only because you think it looks
great doesn't mean everyone has to.

Thing is, gaming is becoming more and more expensive. Developers are hyping their stuff up like crazy and milk their customers with DLC. By now, the industry is huge and, well, given the pricing and all, the big companies just have to deliver - at least on their AAA titles.

Looking at GTA IV, you'd have gone through GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and Balad of Gay Tony, for example, if you wanted the complete GTA IV experience - and most of that would've been included on the disk in a pre-DLC era... Not that I'm actually opposed to DLC or claiming that gaming is too expensive, or anything - it certainly isn't with Steam sales and all. But if developers like Rockstar sell their games at 70$ a pop and still want you to buy DLC woth another 25$, all at release - well, I think it's only fair to expect a damn good product.

Rockstar, though, has been very reliable in my opinion. Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV have been great games, as far as I am concerned. L.A. Noire has received a lot of praise, too. Dunno about Max Payne 3, really, but all in all, I'm pretty sure that GTA V is going to be one of the games that is going to deliver what a lot of customers are expecting.

I see your point. Certainly with developers like EA who deliver crap and then charge money to make the game less crappy. (aside from BioWare. Although people were disappointed with ME3's ending, BioWare did release a free DLC to change the ending, so...) But, to be honest, Rockstar usually produces DLC that's with paying for. I mean...Lost and the Damned and Gay Tony were worth the money as was Undead Nightmare which is the best selling DLC of all time.

I'm not too scared of Rockstar DLC. And there are other companies that continuously pump out worth while DLC, but, I do understand that it sucks paying $60 for a game then paying like $150 for the DLC...like with Forza 4.

Those graphics look very good for a Rockstar open world sandbox game. I cant even comprehend the kids complaining about the graphics in these pics. Do you have any idea how much is involved in an open world sandbox game. There is SOOOOO much going on all at the same time. Its very hard to get good graphics in a sandbox game. Especially if you have a full co-op campaign.

Not sure if GTA5 will have a full co-op campaign but I hope so. The 2 player tennis and 2 players dirt biking will hopefully be a hint at a co-op campaign. Or just a coincidence. At least we will have a parachute right away like in San Andreas. For those that dont remember, we never had a parachute in GTA4 until TBOGT which was what a year after GTA4 came out? Draw distance looks better too. But those could be pics from the PC.

Definitely agree on this. I love both TLAD and TBOGT.

As Luminis mentions, Rockstar is very reliable when it comes to delivering good value for your bucks, and from the looks of it, GTAV will not be an exception, unless it costs $200 of course.

Great comparison shots, G.T Ace. 👍

Very pleased to see that bicycles are making a return.

Great looking screenshots. I really can't believe some people are complaining. The graphics are great and while they're not up to par with some PC exclusives, no multi format release games are. This isn't a corridor shooter with an 8 hour long campaign, this is a huge open world game with tons of detail. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be disappointed if the final graphics are a step down from those screens.

So, we still have three screens to go. This is a complete guess, but I'm guessing one of those screens will be a poster with either a release date or the date of the next trailer. And let's not forget, we still don't know which formats this will release for, although the safe bet is 360, PS3 and PC. Perhaps the poster will be filled with little hints and details. Or perhaps I'm way off and there will be no poster. You never know.

Well at this rate, I don't think it's unwise to expect some info or even another trailer soon.
