 This is looking incredible.

And a few interesting things there, a laser sight on the gun in the first pic? Could that mean weapon customisation?

The Infernus is back from GTA IV, just with new (seemingly) rims and possibly a bit of a facelift. Could this mean multiple generations of the same car?

Planes are obviously confirmed as flyable, and it looks like there'll be a nice variety. Also, the countryside seems to look better in every screenshot.

And the last screen, not sure what's going on with those wheels. Definitely a car transporter though, with what looks like a Dukes (to me at least) on the back, as well as another car. Seems as if it could be from a mission too, in which you have to steal a car from a car transporter, unless that will simply be a feature of the game.

Looking pretty good. I love the shot of the old bi-plane flying over the creek, the water looks amazingly real.

Looks like the laser sighting from Max Payne 3 has made it to GTA 5.

Rockstar as said on their Newswire:

"We will be back with some more to see in a few weeks or so."

So that's it for now and I like what I see.

The car transporter is sweet. I remember it was possible in GTA:SA (iirc), but it was extremely, extremely difficult.

The biking & tennis shots are great, but I'm not holding my breath for them as actual activities. People have jumped on previous photos of GTA IV with the pedestrians doing regular activities as things we can do ourselves with the final product being otherwise. Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

Excellent comparison pics for the people complaining about graphics.

the amount of camber on this truck is insane :D
Oh wow now those are some incredible graphics for a sandbox game. Looking even better than the other ones! Especially the Lamborghini pic and the plane above the water. I sure hope the 360 looks that good.

Am I hopeful or has the cop car in the transporter shot been updated to the 'current' Crown Vic style? (Without the corner windows at the C-pillar.)

The game looks good though I hope more of the PS3's performance problems got ironed out and it can run at native 720p. It would be cool if FXAA or some post-AA solution replaced Quincunx too.

Maybe IV WAS intended to run around 24 fps like a movie....

(Fps apparently got better only with the 2 IV expansion packs though there still was a bit of deficit compared to the X-bawx.)

Edit: Crown Vic thing seems true based on the other pic with the Infernus. Also wonder if a PC version is in the works.

Nope, I can't wait, either. Looking forward to GTA V. And so far, Rockstar never disappointed me, so I don't think it's dangerous to get a bit hyped up

I hope they drop the bomb shell most of us have been waiting for.......full co-op campaign! They introduced a co-op campaign in San Andreas so it can be done for sure. A full drop in drop out co-op campaign in GTA5 that worked as well as Crackdown 1 and 2, Saints Row 2 or Saints Row 3 would be beyond epic. Full co-op campaign sandbox games are easily possible, would love to see GTA5 blow all the other games away with full co-op. Come on Rockstar, I know you can do it!

I am sure this will be on at least 2-3 disks on the 360. I dont care if its on 10 disks. I just want them to put everything they have into GTA5.

Well, I've got some 70gb of free HDD space on my 360, so, yeah, bring it on  I don't mind installing two, three or even six disks, if need be. And I agree, co-op gameplay would be fun! But I don't want it to be online only, I'd love to see some local multiplayer, too.

That was the best thing about GTA SA, in my opinion. Just sitting down with a pal in front of the TV, plastering each other with plastic explosives to go and play suicide bomber

I haven't ever seen any Playstation game exceed the limit of a blu-ray disc (80 GB?). But, honestly, I don't think it'll be that big.

Damn, the water in the crop duster shot looks amazing.

Fingers crossed that, "some more to see". Will be the first gameplay video.

A trailer? Sure. A gameplay video? Thanks but no thanks.

I wanna see how it plays when I first fire up my own copy of the game.

I watched a yootoob vid a few weex back that seemed to make a lot of sense.

I think that we are going to get San Andreas, but obviously next-gen.
What I mean is, it will be essentially the same game area, but with the graphix of GTA IV.

The vid alluded to all kinds of things, like weapon customisation and vehicle customisation etc etc...

let me see if I can find it.....

It's probably been posted in here already, but I can't be bothered to go and look......

:irked:👍

meh.... the only ones I see right now are from ages ago, and I doubt I could contribute anything new by linking them......

I don't like how they are using some of the cars from GTA 4. But then again, they've done that before. Images are looking lovely! Can't wait to throw some cars around the country terrain and cliffs.

At least most of GTA 4's cars were cool.

And the screenshots look fantastic. Especially the one with the river; that water looks realistic.

I don't mind if they use some of the GTA 4 cars as long as they add a large amount off all new ones.

Is that...a WATERFAL???????

If R* delivers with, V it might beat SA and VC sales combined. All I know is this will be the best GTA. Hell, it made me pop in SA and play it for another 10+ hours!

Well, I wouldn't mind them reusing some of IV's cars. I'd actually love to see one or two models make it into V. The Futo GT and the Sultan RS in particular. If we can customize them again, that'd be pretty much perfect.

Glad to see no bullshot pictures for a change, those are clearly of the console version and look good considering their age. The PC version (from the original trailer) looks amazing though.... we really need new gen consoles!

Lots of assets for this game will have been amassed from GTAIV, MCLA, LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. It's pretty much a copy and paste job so hopefully they focus more time on the story.

As Max Payne 3 proved, Rockstar really is a one trick pony, the game flopped because it wasn't GTA.... they should just stick to what they know.

Developers know current gen hardware inside out now, so there is no excuses not to go to town with this game. I'm hoping from a early next year release, so I can clear a bit of my backlog.

I wouldn't call R* a one trick pony, not after RDR's success. But they should definately stick to open world games, which is what they do best.

Why wouldn't some cars driving in New York in 2008 still be driven in 2012 LA? It's only like the real world.
