And then everyone who uses that glitch will get banned or some other punishment. Did you not get the message R* sent us with the last patch?

You dont get banned for doing this one only the other one that they patched. No one I know has never been banned from R* for doing this stuff so. They can try all they want

Alright, but don't blame me if you get banned.

.... Triple Dipping!

I'm pretty sure I was told that the people that made some of the best graphical mods in GTAIV won't even attempt it in V at a risk of getting banned. :guilty:

Damn it! That could mean a lot of mods that got put into IV may not make into V for that same reason.

Seems kinda likely. Rockstar are missing a lot of free advertising for the game if they do ban people.

Exactly, the only reason that games like IV, SA, VC, III, etc. still have an active community is the mods. All they need t do is have a seperate executable for Online and make it have anti-cheat mechanism's on it. If modders found a way past IV's strict anti-modding systems, I'm sure they'll find a workaround for V.

Being hopeful, I mean really hopeful, then they'll only be strict for the first few months while the game is shiny and new.

I doubt they'll find a way around a ban from online, even if they do crack any anti-mod systems.

But still, R* should allow us to mod SP but have a strict anti-mod system in place for GTA Online

Ban. if a player wants to have fun with the game, fair enough. If they're just making things to ruin it for others then they should just stick to offline. Same goes with any game, really.
But wouldn't the game crash if a player went into an online game with mods and other players didn't?

It depends on the mods, really. If they're like the Ace Combat Assault Horizon livery editor mods, then no. It just won't show on other screens.

Nope - when you go into a sever with files that you don't have it downloads them to be compatible. Deletes them at a later stage.

Oh, but what if you go into an active server? Does it just take away the mods you were using or does it download them for other players?

And this is where problems would arise. Especially if a player, say, took a car and replaced it with something else.
I'm willing to guess that it simply wouldn't show for other players, and all they'd see is a floating person travelling really quickly.
