why not make a race with the car as default and try the race and just go off course

That can work if Rockstar only brings out one car, but if they release a few at the same time I prefer to use the deathmatch and test them all out in one go.

test over? quit the test track, change default car in the next one and try the track again, rinse and repeat

i.e. never leave the creator

but your thingy also works :)

-edit-

and if you want to start somewhere on the other side of the map just delete the waypoints and start somewhere else

You never need to leave the creator using the deathmatch. You just have all cars (granted there's not more than 5 in separate classes) there and you're free to exit one and get in another. Invincibility means you don't even need to worry about the AI. ;)

I test new DLC cars by going to the Creator and making a deathmatch. I'll line up as many of them as I can at the airport or something, set it to the lowest amount of players so only one AI comes after me, turn invincibility on, and there you go. Bonus points for killing the angry AI with said DLC vehicles. Just make sure he hasn't got an RPG.

Whenever I test using the deathmatch creator, I set the default weapon to the Jerry Can, so the NPC will just stupidly stand there shouting insults while I drive around.

I was trying to get the new DLC vehicles on single player so I could try them out but I can't figure out how to get them. Can anyone let me know how to get them?
Don't know if it was patched but you should be able to do Criminal Records in any vehicle and drive it into Trevor's garage at Sandy Shores. Swap to Trevor while still in the car and it should still be there if it hasn't been patched.

Probably to penalize the modders, but joke's on them because if you mod you can get the cars anyway.
Has to do more with the fact all the DLC is free because of the huge profit they make off Shark Cards, something SP can not access. And thus, b/c SP isn't contributing to it, Rockstar is rewarding the Online folks.

I see your point. I think Rockstar also want players to be financially irresponsible on GTAO. They dont want us to test cars before we buy, hence no Tampa in SP and 375k price tag for a car with no pace. Its high end for no reason. All future cars will be high end meaning we have to take the plunge and buy them online.

Or try to get a decent video of one of the cars on Youtube, which is next to impossible.

This is a great reason why I don't play online. They make everything stupid expensive to try and lure you into buying those cards. Rockstar = the new EA.

Rockstar aren't the new EA. Rockstar make top quality products, EA churn out yearly titles to compete with all other devs on all fronts.

How do I access my secondary garages in singleplayer? I have been to them, but I can't enter them or park vehicles there.

That's probably a strong, valid reason as well.

"Do you really want the car? Buy a Shark Card"!

I've lost a ton of respect for them after the Lowrider update. I could maybe understand their reasoning for keeping the Heist vehicles out of single player, but every update since has kept online content exclusive. It's 🤬 BS. 👎

If they had all the DLC cars in SP, people would bitch about not having, or being able to make the money to buy/mod them. Either way R* would catch flack about it.

Not defending them, cause I'd like to see them in SP too, just being realistic.

Edit: Money is not an issue for me in SP, since all three characters have over $600 million, taking advantage of the assassination missions

That doesn't make any sense. It's so easy to steal cars in SP compared to MP where you apparently get a text from a random number & making the money to mod them doesn't take any time, esp if you have properties. Not to mention in the past, Rockstar used to have the DLC cars available directly from the garages....

Better yet, those same people already bitch about the cars online. People flipped over the money it takes to buy & modify a low rider.

They would catch zero flack for introducing the cars into SP. They never did before the Heist update.

Do I seriously have to pay $30,000 to buy the secondary garages in singleplayer? On PS3, they were free if you were signed in with your RSC account, and I have been signed in since I installed the game on PS4.

Think that's bad. BAWSAQ has been frozen since the PC release. Which I think was in March. So basically it's the heists and Lester's assassinations to make money now.

After playing the current gen version for some time, I've noticed that you can't use the most recent DLC cars (Osiris, T20) on single player, directly from the garage.

All but the Elegy you need to buy. When I have 2 characters with over 100 mil and one with 3 mil (Because I bought the Golf Club & a cinema for Michael) I don't think it matters that much. Still very easy to get the DLC cars they actually added to SP.

After playing GTAO for two years, you get used to hearing an explosion when spawning inside your apartment. I was caught off-guard when I started up singleplayer and heard something detonate far away. Since I didn't get the chance to see it, I can only assume a blimp exploded, but when I ran outside, the regular Atomic Blimp was cruising around normally.

Were you near a gas station by any chance? Those things are always imploading. Scares the everlasting crap out of you when you're not expecting it.

Could have been the 747 (or whatever) blowing up. For whatever reason, half the time I start the game as Michael in his home, one explodes outside by hitting that skyscraper up the road.

I was playing as Franklin inside his original home (Still quite early in the game).

Anyone know whats the story with this event?? every time i approach this character even in stealth when i get just close enough he just runs. i try shooting at him but the bullets do no damage which tells me its a event. But how do you trigger it
