If we are practicing for Tokyo i think we should do it on Rome. Tokyo has one big straight for overtakes and Rome has 2 smaller ones.

Cote De Azur its a whole different track, you just cant get past another car, unless the guy in front of you makes a mistake.

Which could be argued as being good practice for Tokyo too.
I mean, if we can all get along on Monaco then Tokyo whould be like a soccer field compared to squash court.
 
So it's decided. Tomorrow we'll do a good amount of laps Monaco, then, if anyone's still up for it, we'll move on to the other city circuits for good measure. 7:00pm EST

We'll do regular qualifying in the freerun before the race.

I'm here to apologize to everyone who was affected by my out burst. I have talked to Wardez about this incident and we are both on good terms now, I hope I can do the same with the rest of you. Kique77: Sorry for blaming you when it wasn't your fault. I guess rxp489 was lagging so bad that I didn't even see him hit me. You were the closest one to me so I quickly jumped to the conclusion that it was you. Sorry for trying to call you out because you weren't on the list, it was just something I added to justify my anger although it was completely uncalled for.

rxp489: Sorry I called you out like that, I was upset because you smashed me into the wall so hard that my car was completely damaged and I couldn't catch up to the rest of the pack which made this race a waste of time for me.

Mule_9242: Although we did go back an forth in this argument, I would like to be the one to end the feud and I can see us having healthy and fair battles in future races. I don't have anything against you.

I'd also like to apologize to my team, Team Nemesis. This is not how we represent ourselves. We are a group of people who just like to have fun playing this game and I just took it a bit too far.

On a separate note.. I am probably not going to make it to this weekend's race. Hopefully I am still welcome to join in on race 3.

Also good luck to all that are still in the GT Academy. Hopefully a few of us will make it to Florida!
 
Hey guys im not gonna be able to make it to the practice race at 7 'cause something important came up at work and I have to go head over. Anyone who wants to host the race post the room here and everyone can head there.

Doesn't look like the practice race happened, but given my current position in GT Academy I can confirm my entry for Sunday's race at Tokyo. :)
 
Good luck to everyone qualifying today. I hope there are practice rooms bring made today before 5 PM EST just because I haven't practiced much and I would like to see how my time stands against other driver's times.

Yeah, I remember seeing you crash during/after the chicane in front of me, then you quit. Had no idea what happened to you.

EDIT: okay, looking at the replay again, your car was literally all over the place. It pretty much was a magnet to all the other cars. You must have had some connection issues or something.

EDIT2: To me, it looks like Brosif got fed up of your magnet car bumping into him in every brake zone and turned right into you. I can't say i blame him for it.

Yeah that is right.. Could be this connection issue, because i was hitting/getting hitted by everyone, everytime hahahaha

I'm going to a drag racing/drift event tonight and won't be home till late. If nobody has a room open around that time I'll open a room for the late night people. I do need some practice before qualifying tomorrow as my best time on the track is still 1 second off the pace of Brosif. :nervous:
 
I wont be qualifying today (need more practice) but I'll be in the room to watch, and hopefully get some of that practice in before/after

We can do a good length practice race today after qualifying ends today. Should be good.

And just to note: I'm not qualifying today since I haven't had a chance to practice on the track at all this week with me being just 100% busy.
 
Since I'm among the people that did not have time to practise this week I'll just watch the qualifying today, I know some of u guys will set spectacular lap times that'll get me scratching my head...

Stumbled across this thread today and would like to join your championship if that would be cool. I got GT5 at christmas and ive just hit A-spec 30 today (obviously i have to work in the bits in between) and need a new challenge and something like what you guys are doing is right up my street. Ive got the Lexus IS-F so i just need to know how i join, where to go to practise etc etc

I didnt have much time to practice for this weekend track either, was too busy with WSGTC and some other stuff. I tried the track for like a hour and got 1:40.6 as my best time, with tires wear off though, and i dont think i can improve it that much lol.

I have no idea if thats a good or bad time (prolly decent at least). Anyone going much faster then that?

i just did like 10 laps n my best was 1:41.4, i think i did well in that lap but it seems that i have to practice more, any room open? if not i´ll create a new one in 15 min. ill post the number

Due to a new-job interview I have just been given, I won't be able to make the race as the interview starts at the same time as the race, therefore there's no need for me to qualify tomorrow either.

Good luck to everyone for quali/race and I hope I'll make next week's race.

Did some practise late today and managed a 1:40.528 but that was with the racing line on. Switched it off and ive been chasing that ghost car for the last 30mins and only been able to get to just within a second of it :irked:

The ISF is SO understeery. Trying to get that back end to kick round on some of the corners is a nightmare. Worst corner for me has to be that downhill right/left in the trees.

Will keep tweaking and trying though!
