Man... guys, this was an epic race:

And yes, you're right, that's not the HD capture we talked about xD.
It's just me and my crappy little SD capture dongle recording my little go through our replay. It's to serve as a temp. showcase of our talents 'til Nethereal gets our race captured in full HD glory.
Truly an epic competition, one of the best races I've ever seen. Strategy out the ying yang, crashes, splashes and fun.

Between this, WSGTC, busy work schedule through Saturday, the girlfriend, taxes, and GT Academy, I'm soooo gonna be fried this week.
I'm off to nappy time, wake me at 3 yeah? Thx :dunce:👍

I got the qualifying dates put up wrong, they're mirrored from the first race. There'll be qualifying on every Friday and Saturday before the races on Sunday. But thanks for signing up. It's awesome to have a friend since high school join up.

Saturday will be the best day for me to qualify. I'm excited, I look foward to possibly racing with you.

After seeing that video, our tires at the end were DONE.

Edit: Just a heads up Wardez, I'll be changing the color of my wheels before the next race. 👍

Edit #2: I also just realized that I probably will not be home in time for the next race. :(

Thanx for the video and great race, there was action everywhere! I was completely wrong in assuming that a single stop on lap 14 would suffice, will keep that in mind for the next one 👍

Hey guys, i was watching the replay and i noticed that most of the guys racing in the middle positions were racing a little too agressive, compared to me and RT for example.

I saw a lot of uncessessary bumps and way too late breaking. If too close to a car before a big breaking point, you guys have to consider the slipstream before breaking and go a bit easier on the throtle. Watch the replay from RTs bumper cam perspective, after the patch you can change views on replays. Thats a great example of how you should race when behind someone.

I think this is something we could work to get better next races, to try to avoid contact at all times. I know is hard to do it with 4 or 5 changing positions so often, but you guys could definitely have raced a bit cleaner :)

Personally, I'm of the opinion that "rubbing's racing" but I never try to slam in to people, and be as clean as possible. But I agree that we need to work on this.

I like how in Wardez's replay, he cut to RedReevos's car right as I sideswiped him going into turn 3 :(

i think we should have a little practice race for the next track, looking the last race, tokyo has no escape zones and with a full grid battling for position....

Definitely a good idea to practice on a street circuit. Doesn't have to be Tokyo though. I think Madrid, Cote, even London would be good practice.

I just posted the points structure. You can all figure out where you stand for yourselves at the moment. I'll post up the points table when I'm back from work. 👍

And it's still provisional, at least 'til this Sunday, so let me know if you guys like it or not, feedback etc.

Ok, so the NASCAR race on Sunday starts at 1pm my time, and according to previous races on Wiki it will last about 3 hours. It will probably take me a couple hours to get home, so I might just barely make the next race or not at all. Hard to say. :nervous:

I got word froma few people that they're gonna be busy that day so I'll push it back an hour to 8pm EST. But the rest of the races will be 7 firm.

ninja phone post from work*

That works for me. Wasn't sure how long I'd be at the race but now that I look at it, it would be close. Depends on how long it takes me to get out of the parking lot. :D

The middle of the pack definitely contained some brawlers. My trek to the front was delayed a few times by some overambitious fellows who were either trying to be the last of the late brakers or forgot about the affect the draft has on braking points. There were also some incidents where my late apex turn-ins were a little too inviting to the trailing racer (by trailing I mean spontaneous dive-bombing). I guess I am too used to racing with Turbo and Wardez but I am sure this group will shape up.

All in all I was happy with the race. I wish I would have caught Wardez but I'll get you next time!

A practice race at Monaco would be fine by me.

And I did change my colours again. Last time, I promise ;x

Blue Cosmo Metalizzato / Nero Daytona WB

This race was a Mess for me..i'll make it up on the next

Lots of bumps, many on purpose... So when i got bumped to the grass....Damnnnnn i got so angry that I quit...RARARARARAGEE quit!!

I did some bumps to... but I swear wasn't on purpose...

I don't remember the nick but someone bumped me about 5 times on purpose... because I lost the braking point and bumped him once... but w/e

I don't feel like doing GT Academy so I am going to open a practice room. I'll update my post with a room number once I have set one up.

Room is up:

I just left this room and a couple guys were leaving to open another room for rally, so not sure if it's still open. So I'd consider it closed.

Got all you guys' color changes and such. I'll update when I'm back from work tonight. 👍

Putting up a poll to vote for the practice race track this Thursday @ 7:00PM EST

Yeah, I remember seeing you crash during/after the chicane in front of me, then you quit. Had no idea what happened to you.

EDIT: okay, looking at the replay again, your car was literally all over the place. It pretty much was a magnet to all the other cars. You must have had some connection issues or something.

EDIT2: To me, it looks like Brosif got fed up of your magnet car bumping into him in every brake zone and turned right into you. I can't say i blame him for it.

I got a new color scheme, too, Wardez.

Color shift dark green/pink with silverstone silver rims. Looks beautiful.

If we are practicing for Tokyo i think we should do it on Rome. Tokyo has one big straight for overtakes and Rome has 2 smaller ones.

Cote De Azur its a whole different track, you just cant get past another car, unless the guy in front of you makes a mistake.
