RT, you are usually faster than me... So either, you ran your timed laps with tire wear on, or you should definitely be able to at least get back to your 24'6 times.

I always run online rooms with tire wear on. I just blame the crappy DFGT pedals and the fact that I'm not 100% in the mood to run lap after lap when I get home from work.

Jay, I will happily give you the car back if you want it. It's not getting much use over here.

I thought about asking since I noticed you hadn't been running much in the series. That would be great if I could get it back, that way I wouldn't have to a buy a new one just for one race.

Not a problem at all man, in fact it makes me think of the possibility of some kind of team race where multiple people share a car and participate in different races.

I hope you like chrome! I love the way the car turned out but it just does NOT handle in any way how I like my cars to drive. Maybe you'll have better luck with it than I will. I had some sending plans for tonight but they were only personal, so I'll push that back another 24 hours and I'll get the car to you tonight when the cycle comes back around. Should be a little over 3 hours from the time of this post.

Sorry, I couldn't resist posting this clip. Best victory lap ever:

What's going on, eh?

And I am pretty sure the New Zealand flag is upside down.

Okay, Wardez has asked me to run qualifying again today, so I'll do that for him.

I'll make an official room for that shortly.

Nah I'm Canadian too, lol. Damn man I hate this track! I always did, I'm gonna do bad in qualifying and during the race! Anyone mind sharing a suspension set up that will not spin me out at the bottom of the corkscrew?

I've left the room now, but BlackIce and Brosif were both still in there, so it's probably still open.

If you want to qualify tonight still, then just leave me or Wardez a message.

Wow, did horrible when i qualified. I hope only 6 people qualify then the rest come after qualifying is done so I at least have a chance finishing well. Hopefully I do better at Suzuka.

Sorry in advance to anyone i bump into on race day, my setup isn't really grippy, just a bit all over the place.

I usually have the tire wear off in the beginning, so I can get a rhythm going lap after lap. I did get one session with the tire wear off, and was able to do a 24'9, but I was much more inconsistent with my times. Yeah, I hear you about lap after lap, that was an abnormal session for me yesterday.

The DFGT pedals don't seem to bother me, but they are all I have played on. Mine is only 3 months old, and I put the bungee on the brake almost right away. The pedals don't seem to be bothering you too much, Mr. Orlando. The fact that you are used to them, should give you a bit of advantage in the finals.

As for qualifying, I probably won't be able to get onto GT5 until much later tonight. I am spending time with my wife tonight. Hopefully, I will be able to make tomorrow's qually.

I will post my setup later, for anyone that wants it. It is basically the setup Wardez posted for Tokyo. Blackice, I know you asked about one that won't spin you out at the corkscrew.. sorry mine will definitely spin you out. With my current setup, I have to be very careful there. Maybe, if I raise the front suspension? Not sure, and I am not much of a tuner. Maybe someone else can weigh in on the corkscrew.

He took the bungies off after GT Academy round 3 so he could prepare for the finals.

That makes sense. That would definitely be a change of feel. I am wondering, do many of you that use the DFGT put bungies on both pedals, or just the brake?
