Unfortunately I am 14 year old high school student with absolutely no money, and my parents would freak out I took it apart
Really? You're 14? What's your PSN ? Are you turning 15 this year? I turned 14 on the 27th of January:)

I got the topless Merryweather Mesa by way of my friend calling Mercenaries on me. They showed up, he took the truck and I only killed one of them before they gave up. Then after a couple of store robberies, he did it again and got one for himself.

I was told that you can't store those any longer. I'm confused.

You can, just not brought from missions into free roam.

That's what I figured it was. But I didn't want to waste the money to find out. Thanks for the info.

I don't know if anybody has tried it out yet, but how good is the Enus Huntley off-road. I haven't managed to get a proper look at it yet and I don't fancy spending $200,000 on something that turns out to be useless, as that would be all I'd want it for really.

Try it in singleplayer. It's free. If you bought the LSC out in Blaine County as Franklin, upgrades are free. I haven't bothered yet with the Huntley, but I heard it sucks.

The Huntley doesn't strike me as an off-road SUV, especially since the suspension customizations can "slam" it.

Actually I heard from a friend that it's actually pretty good at hill climbing. If it weren't so low it would apparently be a great off-road vehicle.

Huntley doesn't strike me as being particularly good off-road, seems more road-orientated.

I can vouch for the Baller's capabilities though. The 1st gen (boxy one) seems to have a bit more clearance, but the 2nd gen has tons of power and torque, great if you want a posh-looking off-roader that's actually fairly quick.

I already have the Baller I, I'm just looking for extra cars to fill my 2nd garage, mainly just things like off-roaders, bikes, maybe a Futo, and a Youga van. Cars for just messing around in. My apartment is where I'm now keeping all my racing stuff. The new update has definitely allowed me to expand into cars I always wanted, but served little practical use. Like the topless Banshee.

I finally find a Sanchez with the Atomic livery...and some scrub blows out the rear tire. And I didn't feel like riding on the rim 1/2 way across Sandy shores so I left it, and killed the scrub a few times. He tried to ambush me by hiding from radar but he flew by me on the trail and was able to take him out one more time.

The Huntley S is really not off-road oriented, basically good for climbing the smooth sides of the mountains. I got into a little rough stuff and it scraped and bounced along the rocks, not exactly fun either.

I'm pretty sure you can change the livery by taking it into LSC...

I've just taken the Huntly S out over the Tatavian Mountains, ascending via the shallower inclines by the oil field. I added off road wheels and tyres, but didn't add any power mods and it seems adept enough at bounding over the flat ridge along the mountain top. On the descent it goes along at a fair old speed with OK stability for its type. I'm in the middle of a photoshoot with it, testing it on a variety of LS's trickier terrains, but of course I'll leave Chilliad's trails until last.

My next step is up the Palomino Highlands, and across the Senora Desert, but that will have to wait until after the bank holiday.

You can get a Beetle dune buggy up most Chilliad inclines, but if we discounted the game for that inaccuracy there'd be no point pretending to off road anyway?

So why point out the Huntly could do what it did on low rider tyres, as if to discredit its off road ability and in a stroke make the whole off-road side of the game irrelevant?

Because the tires don't make any difference. They're just textures.

I am fairly sure that tyres do actually make a difference, to start with somebody made a video with benchmarks through fairly strict testing procedures and the results were quite conclusive.

Personally I have noticed quite a few differences when using off-road tyres instead of any type of road tyre. Grip / Traction on road is very different when using off-road tyres, and on dirt roads is where I noticed the difference. If you drive on a long straight and flat dirt road with normal road tyres in something like a Sultan RS (this is how I noticed the difference), your speed will eventually flatten out, but you'll hear the engine labouring slightly in the middle of the rev range, but it just can't give anymore. Now if you swap those sports tyres for off-road ones and you don't have the same problem.

Here is the video I was talking about:

I would like to get the Merryweather jeep but I'm only level 14.
Anyone kind enough to send the Merryweather mercenaries on me please?

Also, if anyone wants to go off-roading, let me know. I'll be available for the next 5 hours or so...

(PS3)

Also I've noticed that upgrading the Mesa's rims makes the whole wheel size smaller, just wondering if this has an effect at all?

I'd suggest doing an SP to MP glitch.

I don't have it in SP either :( (I havent played SP much). I guess I'll just wait until I reach level 35. If I call the mercenaries on someone, can I steal the merryweather jeep? (or does it work only if someone call the mercenaries on me?)

Doesn't mattter if you don't have it in SP - You can use a save editor and spawn one into your gamesave.

If worst comes to worst and you can't edit one into your gamesave I'll dupe one fully upgraded for you 👍
