I will join after I eat some lunch. Can't wait to drive my Sandking in an official trail meet finally.

If you give me your friends Social Club names, I'll add them. There's about a hundred or so requests to try to sift through, so I can't tell who the most recent are. 👍

Thanks, you should have a request from 'dodgecummins4x4'. I think you've already accepted the others. Should I just forward to you any players names who have requested to join, who I've spoke to. A few have messaged me after reading my posts on here, which is promising for other Xbox off-roaders.

Guys, something just came up and I won't be able to make the meet. Someone else will have to be trail leader. So sorry. :(

I am trying to set up my Turtle Beach PX22s right now. It says its connected, but I'm not getting any audio through the headphones, except for my own voice through the mic. This is so annoying.

Did you connect the audio cable to the back off your tv and did you also change the audio settings?

Despite a couple of hiccups, today's meet was good fun.

Things may have gotten a little carried away with the after party...

For a future meet, how about a 'stock height only' trucks and suv's, no lifted ones. Could make for good fun, certainly different.

I was actually laughing so hard that I started crying when my clone started to attack people.

For the people that are unaware, the real me is wearing a white T-Shirt, while the clone mysteriously has a blue shirt.

Looks like it was a good time. Wish I could have made it.

I ended up leaving my PS3's power chord at a friends house...that lives an hour away. :banghead: Got another one for 5 bucks thankfully.

It was a bit of a cluster-you-know-what at the beginning (mainly my fault). In the end we had some fun.

I had a blast the whole time. I think you were just worrying too much about sticking to the planned route. In the back of the pack we were climbing everything we came across. That's prolly the reason you had to keep waiting up. :P I think you did fine with the organization, but don't worry so much about sticking to the plan that you can't enjoy the ride yourself.

I think the occasional LSPD interruption is inevitable, we just need to use Lester to loose our wanted levels more.

All in all, successful meet today. 👍

Well unfortunately nobody turned up on Xbox for some off-roading, or at least I didn't receive any messages and none of the people in my friends list came online.

I'm going to start up another crew session now, since I want to do some car 'shopping' and testing.

I currently have for SUVs / Off-roaders:
∙ DeClasse Rancher XL
∙ Dubsta
∙ Sandking SWB
∙ Canis Mesa (Merryweather)

However I am definitely going to be getting rid of the Mesa (for the second time), because I just really don't like that truck anymore. Mainly because the 4WD system just seems a little poor because the front power split is just too low. This would be already if it were fun to drive on road as just a cruiser at times, but it isn't, or at least I don't think so.

Now as a replacement, I am pretty open to ideas really. I have been giving serious consideration to the Canis Bodhi and I actually want to test out the Seminole because I've seen a few people posting about that, and they seem to be appearing everywhere now. I'm also going to steal a Canis Crusader and see if it is actually worth the money. But obviously this doesn't take up a garage spot.

Does anybody have any suggests. I might add that I've already had the BeeJay XL (FJ Cruiser) and I'm definitely not a fan of the rusty Rebel (just because of looks).

I've only caught four gamers speaking up so far on the Xbox side (since we asked for the tally).

Wraith of Vern
HYPERDRONE
conks91
Zeke34

Any Xbox-ers who wanna add their gamer tag to that list should copy and post it with the addition. 👍

Vern, give the Bison a test drive. It doesn't have the best clearance, but great power and traction, good looks and it's pretty good on the road as well. Plus, it holds six. A good all-around 4x4.

By the way, in case you didn't know, if you start a secondary character they share the bank account. That means (provided you have some money saved up) your second character only needs to spend about 30 minutes ranking up level 6 before he can purchase a 10 car garage to store 4x4's in. :D

With people on Xbox it is just going to be a case of making sure that the message is out there for anybody who lands on this thread, and also after the holiday period is over and people are available, I might see more people online. But I am determined to do some group off-roading on Xbox. :D

I've actually had the Bison before and it was a great truck, I mainly used it on road, but like you say it did have some good power, it sounded great and apart from being good off-road it was fun to drive. I probably ruined it a bit by never having Off-road tyres on it and for some reason lowering it. I actually got rid of it for my Rancher XL, which again ticks all the same boxes.

I think I'm just going to try a few out on my usual trails and see how they do. I'm even tempted to get the Baller I.

EDIT: Looks like you can't sell the Merryweather Mesa anymore. So thats a good portion of $130k I won't see back.

Should I trade in a normal mw Mesa for a beejay? Right now I don't have any suvs
I ended up doing it.

I actually think that is a sound choice, I like the BeeJay XL and think its a sound off-roader. The traction is very good and even a standard it is quite powerful. Ground clearance on the front can be a little dodgy though depending on the slope though, this only really be an issue when dealing with rock. Or driving around on the beach where there are deceivingly deep gullies, where depending on the speed you might rip the bumper off before rolling about 10 times.

Besides that, good car.

So, I saw Mudd mention that for a future meet we should do a stock height only meet.

This week, get something that's stock height. No Rebels, no Sandkings, no Merryweather Mesas. Because we're doing the stock height meet next weekend.

I would love to join this. Been watching this thread for a while now and finally have GTA five! So expect a Crew request and feel free to add me on PSN 👍

I was supposed to have a white 4x4ing Xmas and telstra stole that from me for not coming out to fix my internet in time. I missed all the snow! I will get revenge.

I'll bring a Cavalcade. 👍

Thanks for the add to the crew. I enjoyed myself on the the sandking meet. It was fun hanging around the back. I don't usually wheel my sandking so it was nice to take it out, but I am looking forward to next weeks meet. Looks like I missed out on the after party, but I had to leave before the 3rd trail ride.
