GTDesigned: A Community Vision GT Project

We'll going to add a series of poll for 3 days, for now the layout

  • Total voters
    116
  • Poll closed .
Why bother with the 5 turbo twin engine W50 piston arrangement 7 wheel drive convertible van when we can jump to the holy grail of MRs instead? A full on Formula car with headlights and adjustable suspensions, and no bigger than an elise! Its the world's first, mini road legal Formula Car that anyone can buy! (With some amazing front bumpers too!)

Pretty confident with this design

That looks cool!

Discussed this 'project' with my friend and I've to admit, a V4 petrol engine in a small car is not a smart choise. A V-shaped engine is the most inefficient choise you/we could make, a boxer engine or a 4 inline (placed in width of the car) would make more sense, just as the allready 'popular' Wankel engine in this thread, less CC's, same performance.

Why not? Just about every car the V4 has been in is on the small side.

I don't understand why you have to move the discussions to Facebook when you're designing a car for GTP, a website with a forum board with this thread where you can discuss this?

Check out Aerocharger turbo's for 2st snowmobiles. Had me a bit unsure too, but it's here. Fuel injection would be a must too.

The V4 2stroke I imagine will be like two 500 2 stroke Motogp engines on the same crank. :dopey:

Here's the same idea as I had for a vertical stabilser (rudder) to control oversteer. Doesn't need to be one moving rudder on the roof/tail it may be done with a flap on each rear quarter pushing air away when the rear is moving off line from the front (sliding into oversteer).

For the wheel design I would love to see a design, maybe turbo style, that car draw air from under the car reducing the air pressure or creating downforce. Venturi's work well at removing air from underneath too.

Guys breaking news on the poll, apparently Hybrid have surpassed Non Hybrid by 2 two votes and now Combine/New Body type is about to surpass city car/kei car with only 3 and a half hours to go before closing!! And looks like it will be an 8 speed transmission

Vote 169 to 178 is oddly similar, no one sabotage the poll right?
That is why I said something yesterday, but I didn't want to be a debbie downer.

But if we'll going to use it we suppose to get a permission from the patent holder right?

Yeah it can be anything as long as it's city car sized, personally I want to make a new kind of car
Like this one? lol.

.... :embarrassed: Absolutely brilliant. :D I will design a hover car tomorrow. That's capable of 1 G corners! lol :D

Would anyone else want to see a hover car? lol.

It will use helicopter like blades (all electrical of course! >:D) with several holes spread all across the car; ugh.... aircraft...

Let's make the cars power to weight ratio 1 : 1 if it's possible to maximise the car

Hover Vehicle MKI - GTPlanet XD ... requires 12 high powered electric powered rotors lol. And have a horse power of I dont know.... 100 Max. :D
But I mean; Its cool right? XD
