In that case the proper structure to the process is even more important. No offence to anyone, because I still like the idea and appreciate the enthusiasm, but with the way the thread has gone in the past, it's about as effective as trying to debate economic policy whilst playing football.

@citroengt1 Me and @YukinoSuzuka have discussed it back then but if i remember it correctly, Jordan came and said that subforum will be provided once we get the all good from PD. But I think it's a sensible idea to help us organize things since we haven't got any news from PD yet.

@MatskiMonk i believe we already proper stucture, we already have Phased Project Plan courtesy of @kapnk006 and concrete organization structure (just need some poll to fuel the position) but it's pretty hard to manage and organize things in here, (ideas getting buried, forgotten sketches etc) i believe having our own forum could help us a bit.

Haven't contributed for a while so i had a little doodle 30mins ago.

8 wheeled G-Kart (yes i know it's ridiculous )

started off with a staggered wheel arrangement, then decided to extend the wheel base for stability. Added small capacity twin rotor engines (either side) and a couple of small flywheel electric motors ( power harvested from the 2nd front set of wheels) powering the rear most set of wheels. Added a completely shrouded body for aero efficiency.

Ah okay then, forgive my cynicism to begin with then. But definitely a thread, threads, or sub-forum needs setting up. I've kept half an eye on this since the early days, and I don't know what's going on.. how's the general GTP population going to get involved and understand what's going on? For example, you come to this thread and there is a random drivetrain poll still the first thing we see....

Well, first time around, we just blew in a bunch of pictures together. Instead, I think we should make one where a little bit of everything goes in; A competition for body style, headlights, taillights, front fascia, rear fascia, wheels, etc.

That way, we can easily create a car that satisfies everyone.

I see this as a very good idea !

For example. On a Dutch car forum, a lot om members play every week a new contest with the most clueless* restrictions to find the 'perfect' classified cars (second hand) and every wednessday the contest is closing and everyone has to vote for their favourite contender that fits to the contest restictions! Ofcourse this thread isn't that succesfull and too big to organize every week another contest. But maybe every 2 weeks, 2 details/subjects to search for (2 subjects that are in line with eachother) Like I did with the xample fot the poll and the taillights from various cars, we get a contest like this ;

Search for the most edgy/abstractically design from the past 3 years in the streetcar category. Everyone may post 3 photo's from 1 singel design/car + eventually the wikipedia to the car's history webpage (if people never heard about the car, they have a certain source to know something more about it).

Search for the most spectacular interior/dashboard that amazed you the last time.
Like the previous instruction, maximum of 3 photo's per car/contender.

Every contender may motivate their entry with a few lines why they see these designs for a good inspiration source for our VGT. Not the poll for the whole community, but just for us to keep this project alive and have good impressions what we like to see !


*Clueless in the words like Find an classified car with only manual window openers and without a side mirror on the passenger side.. I've owned a Nissan Figaro once, because 5 years ago somebody competed in the contest "It may have every colour, only if it is pink". I never saw a car like that..Wiki''id it and bought one 2 weeks later.

Here is a concept i designed a few weeks ago, thought I'd post it here. I called it Sevestro Krypton. I would love to render it but i don't have photoshop so blender would be a good option for me, i would just have to learn how to use it. And don't ask why i made the license plate ''420''...

@MatskiMonk yeah the forum idea still needs to be evaluate though personally i don't see anything wrong about it, about the poll, i couldn't erase it is there a button for it? Cause i don't see one make i need some help from the safe here to erase it

@YukinoSuzuka that's actually a brilliant idea but how do we determine the restrictions? Or is it totally up to them?

Since it says 420 on the plate maybe it should have a hemp interior and pot leaf taillights. Just kidding, kind of...

It's cool, I was just messing around. Besides the hemp interior would be rather uncomfortable. But, it would get Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg etc. to play GT6.

As a former Hemp shop owner, I've felt some soft beautiful Hemp/Silk and pure hemp linen made from it as linen was originally made from hemp more than flax. 6 times stronger than cotton so it'll last too.

For car panels Henry Ford developed a hemp/resin composite that was so strong a hammer bounced off but wouldn't rust so not profitable and wasn't produced, may be too heavy for us too. Check out 'The Billion Dollar Crop' for more info. Medicine is only one use, hemp has 25,000 others.

I haven't got a clue what that is (Voltron/ Power ranger or something of that ilk maybe?).
I do see what you mean with regards to shape though.
