I think most of the people here are using wheels like me. People who use a controller (which i think that is what your using) are at a disadvantage really. Because you can't turn the car as sharp with a controller like you can with a wheel.

I beat you in the first race with my "disadvantaged" controller! lol

I'm wanting a wheel, but i can't find one. First i was trying to get a G27, but they sold out before christmas. Then the thrustmaster came out, and no one has that either.

My brother uses a controller and outdrives me all the time. But I'm slow. However I still don't think it's as a big of a disadvantage as most people believe. With a twitchy MR car that requires very smooth inputs maybe a wheel setup would shine, but the cars in this series handle very and aren't going to spin out.

Well I got a broken wheel if that counts... 2 week old wheel took a crap on me About 5 weeks ago and am still waiting on custumer service for a response...

I'm trying to start up a series for street car under 3000 cc, no tuning restrictions. It should produce some good racing, different style of racing then we have here, but should still be good. I would like a few more interested to start it up, post there if you're interested.

That's not much of an issue for me at the moment, I can make races at any time of the day or night.

Just so you guys know if i do manage to finish within the top 3 at the end of the season i will not be taking the prize car for myself so it would be sent to the next highest person.

I think this weeks race we can race Saturday if thats fine for everyone.

I'm good with Saturday. Honestly, 9:30 or 10:00 is slightly better. The best time for me, oddly enough, is every other Wednesday at 9:00 (the other being the weeks that I'm not oncall, so I don't run the risk of getting a page in the middle of a race).

Saturday works for me. Are we going to lock in Saturdays at 9PM for the rest of the season? Seems to be the preferred time.

In the end we don't count the points from our worst race. That way if you have a solid season but had one terrible race or missed one it doesn't hurt you in the standings.

I still think this is an excellent idea, I've used it before in race series I ran in GT1 & 2. I'd hate to see someone lose the championship because they were out of town for some reason beyond their control (work/family).

Missed yesterday's practice because it wouldn't let me in the room... Never had that issue before. Maybe a race had already started and the room wasn't on "free run"?

Never heard of that before. You can still join rooms when there is a race. Might be your connection or something.

Can't make it on saturday. Realized it this morning and it ruined my whole day. I bought tickets for something with some friends back in november and was reminded of it today. I don't imagine we could race earlier, or move the race for one person. So here's to hoping half of you can't make it either! lol.

My only rule with participation is if there are less then 8 people in the room, the race will be delayed to the following weekend.
