Missed yesterday's practice because it wouldn't let me in the room... Never had that issue before. Maybe a race had already started and the room wasn't on "free run"?

I had this problem, too. I assume it was because either he had just started the room, or the room was in some sort of transition or load. I tried a little while later and it worked.

I got to tune my car a bit more last night, and am working on entering the first two turns faster. I got a lap time in the 1:34s. Tonight, I am hoping to get online after 9:30 Eastern. I'm just going to focus on polishing my lap. I really don't know how much more I can do as far as turning the car goes. I'm just not that good.

If anyone in the ITCC is interested, they can join me in my lounge for Practice. :) I'll be in until sometime after 11 pm EST tonight.

Guys remember for the formation lap you must stay in your grid spot. You are not to overtake anyone at anytime. You also must be close to the person ahead of you so don't fall back. Its just as in real life, no overtaking till the race starts. i will not have what happened to JMII in the last race happen again. If you do break the rules, thats an automatic 10 points off. No debating.

Any practice run befor the race?

There is always practice in the race lobby before qualifying. You just gotta join early enough. My lobby most of the time opens at 8:30 or 8:40pm EST.

Im hoping to see at least 10 people since a couple can't show up. Saturday is going to be the permanent day for the rest of the season.

Hey guys i was thinking about doing some type of ITCC On-Demand. You would obviously need a USB Drive for this to work since i don't have a capture card to upload to Youtube. So what i would do is in the first post is post download links to the replays so you could copy them to your USB drive and paste them in your PS3 and watch it for yourself. In each of the replay folder i would probably put a Text Document describing the race and how it went. What do you guys think? This a good idea?

Sylph, Could you update the car build information. When I built my Civic, what is in the first post only got me to 276 bhp. The ECU pushed it up to 291.

There is a season event that calls for Golfs. I figured I'd get the '01 so later on I could RM it and compare it to the Civic (perhaps one or the other is better for my crappy skills). With all of the steps in the first post, I only get 258 bhp. I haven't RMed it, yet. Does doing that add any horsepower?

When you RM a car it automatically adds a Titanium exhaust, which brings the VW up to 300hp. Did you add the ECU after the RM? Plus you can't use a Race Modified VW for the event. Found that out early on.

If i were to class the cars with Driving difficulty i would say the Integra is easy to drive with its sharp handling. The civic is the car that is in between. The VW is quite hard to drive with a controller if you ask me. Plus being the heaviest of the 3 it under steers more than the others.

I don't remember paying attention to the Civic's horsepower before the RM, but I'm guessing it wasn't at 291. The first time I built the car, I did not have the ECU on it. It was RMed and at 276. So, the ECU was added after the RM.

I've built a second one (for practice, so I don't have to worry about the miles I put on it). If I recall correctly, I put it on before the RM. I do remember it was 289 before it hit the road for the first time.

I should've also paid attention to how long the break-in period was, so I would know what to expect from the race car.

Hopefully your connection will be better than last race when you punted me across the whole track lol.

Sorry about that hopefully it will be. Using a Verizon Mobile Broadband Mifi 2200 as my area is still too rural to have anything faster. Seems like wifi with it doesn't want to work too well sometimes(especially with COD Black Ops) so I'm back to doing a shared connection with my laptop.

I just got the Skyline Pace Car with the Lights on top in my UCD and im gonna trade it to RACECAR so we have our Official ITCC Pace Car.

Wow, in the failtrain that I conduct, I just discovered that driving before the race in an online lounge accumulates no mileage. My practice car is still at 0 miles and 289 bhp.

My race car is at 111.4 miles and has broken in to 295. I am a whole session behind everyone, so I don't reckon I'll have much of a need for a rebuild after tonight's session.

I did fiddle with it a little more this morning, and I've gotten my best time so far of 1:33.123. I am still likely to start last on the grid, but I'm excited. I started this week only posting 1:40s. And if I can keep it on the track tonight, maybe... just maybe, someone else won't (like last week) and I won't finish last.

On to the bad news, though: I just got a phone call from my wife's cousin inviting our kids over for a sleep-over. That is great. No kids, no bedtime routine, nothing to keep me from the race. But now, my wife may want us to go out and do something since we won't have the kids around. I think maybe I can spin this just right, but if I don't, sorry guys. I'm likely on a date.

Hope to see you on the Grid. Don't let all that practice go to waste :sly:

Hey guys On-Demand feature is now up in the first post. You do need a USB drive. Instructions on how to install is in the folder.

Update on the Race schedule for next week. Tsukuba will probably be switched out for either Suzuka or Laguna Seca simply because the track is just to tight for good racing. Plus just too many crashes happen in the 2nd hairpin where people try to late brake and pass and they just end up running the person off the road. Im trying to keep things fun and keep the frustration down.

Cool! I hope to see Suzuka on the schedule!!
