Seeing how I can't seem to join the lounge to race and keep getting disconnected even after getting onto the track I'd like withdraw my entry for the remainder of the series. Best of luck to everyone....

Is the replay up?
I'll try and get it up tomorrow.
Points updated and still the points for first place is very very close. And also we see a break in the constructors for the first time. Great racing all around this weekend. I Kinda had a poor first race finishing in 7th. Don't know what the pits were doing to me in race 1.
No penalties will be given out this weekend since everyone drove fairly clean. Also great rolling start this time. Everyone knew what to do and stayed in good formation. RACECAR did a great job as pace car keeping us tightly packed.
Was some awsome racing! Race 1 didn't go my way but in race 2 everything falled in my advantage, had a great time battling with you Sylph! Looking forward to Laguna!
I'll leave you on the points but thats a shame You should just go out and buy a wireless router so you'll get a good connection.
Best session of the season for me
Qualified 6th (or 7th?) and managed a respectable 5th in the first race due to that multi-car tangle on lap 1. I even passed a car or two on my own, working my way up to 3rd. I pitted a lap earlier then everyone else which allowed me to grab 2nd temporary. However bdubclub was able to outdrive me despite his colder tires (nice driving man). Fearing a wreck I backed off and played it safe knowing I had a good finish in the bag if I could just stay on the circuit and off the grass/dirt.
Race 2 found me and CAMikaze in a clean battle over several laps which could have gone either way, however once my tires wore out I faded quickly and lost 2 places to those zippy Integras on the last lap. Once again sorry to anyone who got hosed when I bounced off the wall in the tunnel... I clipped the edge and it sent me skidding across the track.
This is the first event were I actually felt like I was RACING and not just driving along watching my mirrors. My car's top speed allowed me to slingshot pass people on the section after the tunnel and the setup/handling was good enough to execute some safe passes. When I'm in the lead and have the inside line of a turn I tend to lift off the gas if someone is attempting to take me on the outside. Due to the weight and general under-steer-y nature of the VeeDub I'm always afraid of running wide and taken them out. However if I stick to my line I might be able to defend my position better, but most of the time a quicker driver will still get past me for sure.
Clearly I've got a good setup on my car because during the post-race testing session I was holding my own on courses I've never run in race trim before. I'm not letting the crew chief touch a thing other then the final drive ratio next race
What happened to Laguna and Suzuka? If we can run Monza we can surely run those tracks. Maybe for ITCC 2.0?
Also my car will NOT take the Engine Rebuild, darn GTAuto grease monkeys claim its not needed! Well before the race I had 305, afterward it had dropped to 297... not sure what's up with that
Regarding the race videos: is there anyway to break them down per track? This way you could download only what you wanted to see. Thanks for hosting them, it will give me a chance to refine my racing line by watching how the faster guys take each turn.
Supr u almost jump the start this time
You folks sould have heard what I said to him at one point. Think recent Castrol Edge commercial.Race 2 found me and CAMikaze in a clean battle over several laps which could have gone either way, however once my tires wore out I faded quickly and lost 2 places to those zippy Integras on the last lap. It was like that when I was involved with the GTPlanet F1 series for F1-CE sometime ago re: Monza in the rain. As for the oil change, the performance of the engine does start going down once you're car goes 300-350 miles so a periodic oil change is a good idea for a race-tuned car like the VW Golf. For the Honda drivers in the seriers, how are the HP numbers holding up for you?Monza is going to be in the rain and that is whats keeping everyone close because the VW can't get good acceleration but still keeps it's top speed and the integras still have there same cornering advantage. Laguna Seca will probably be run in ITCC Season 2 and people were complaining about the huge advantage the VW has on Suzuka on the second half of the track. What happened to Laguna and Suzuka? If we can run Monza we can surely run those tracks. Maybe for ITCC 2.0?

If thats how it is for everyone with the Engine Rebuild i might aswell just allow oil change.
Anyone ever had the thought of trying to do a edit of the videos to make it look like a TV broadcast of the races and have them posted on YouTube and/or Vimeo? For the First Upload i just decided to bundle the First 4 races because 2 separate uploads would take a long time.Regarding the race videos: is there anyway to break them down per track? Cool! I did not do the engine rebuild as I thought it wasn't needed, but the oil change it's definitely needed!!Yea guys your are going to be allowed 1 Oil Change for this week. Then after this weekends race we will go 3 more rounds then do another oil change and finish out the Season.
Guys what would you like to do for the endurance race at SSR5? Do you guys want to do a 30 minute endurance race with 2 required pit stop or a 1 hour endurance with only 1 mandatory pit stop, but you will be pitting more than once i presume mainly for tires. There would be double the points for the race aswell. Gives a couple people the chance to catch up in points
Guys what would you like to do for the endurance race at SSR5?
Thank's man! All cars ended up looking clean at the end, definitely our cleanest race to date! I hope next race is as fun and clean as this one! I love Grand Valley, shame we won't be running the full track...
I Like the East Section because its a pretty small track and its ery fun to race on. Great pictures by the way.
Also looks like we will be doing the 1h Endurance at SSR5. Hope you guys know how to drive in the night well!
