Well, hey, I can't lie that I don't want to see that. It would just be a bad move for them to produce it.

The weight distrubution!
Stick a bunch of crap in the trunk .

Wait. A. Second. Beetle with a 5.0 swap. I need to see if that exists.

After some consideration I think I reached a conclusion. I just can't get excited about it. A Type-R, which is a more track focused car probably, but this though... Not questioning it's brilliance but it just feels too bland for this kind of car. It gets a meh from me.

I dunno about anyone else, but I'd love to see an early NSX engine in a Civic. Not that it would fit.

Especially in a EF or EG hatch. That would be interesting and entretaining

Oh my God! LT1,close enough.

But anyway, just to see if I was just biased, I showed the car off to my brother, and asked him if he thought it was cool (he gave a resounding hell no), a friend of mine named Emma, who said it was kinda cute, and my cousin who knows nothing about cars (he asked me why in the world I thought a Civic was cool).

Great little car, but the look is just too immature...

Seriously uncool because whoever buy this car is trying hard to be cool...

I'd say change the picture in the first post to give a better idea of what it is people are actually voting, but I can see folks like Dagger are already in here spewing that lame ass "LOL VTEC YO" joke & constantly repeating why he voted what he did because nobody read it the first five damn times....

Regardless of whichever door configuration or body style it was available in, the same word comes to mind: 'Tepid'. It does very little to signal its position as a higher performance Civic, and looks far from gainly in coupe form no matter what trim or engine package you choose to look at. Uncool.

I'd give them a combined rating of uncool. But since the sedan was the one I saw first (and voted on)...

Only reason the coupe isn't a high cool now is fwd and vtec (resisting the urge to make a very bad vtec joke).

It is a great little car for what it is.

It has enough power to have fun in, while still being a car that you'd drive 50+ miles a day on the highway to and from work. For a FWD car, it takes corners surprisingly well, and is not a slouch compared to similiar cars in the 200hp range, infact more often than not, it was the faster car. Stock for Stock it was more then capable to take on Impreza WRX's, before its jump up to 260hp.

Released at a time when most vehicles where uping their power, it kind of made it the least sensible pick if you were worried about bang for your buck, as the MS3 and WRX's came out at a relatively close price range with quite a bit more HP. Still, for cars in its class, I think it took the cake.

I think the 4door was only about 40lbs heavier than the 2 door as well.

I voted cool. It does its job, its a commuter, that you can take to the track or the canyons and actually have a blast. I also thought that this car would have been great with a super charger slapped on it, bumping it up to the same range as said MS3's and WRX's

However, I am completely Biased. Although, If given the chance, I would certainly pick up one again, this time giving the 4 door a try.

I had no idea this one was so well-sorted, as niky explained, which kind of underscores how bland of a car it is. Hot or not, the Civic is the Japanese definition of a popular color-by-number appliance on wheels -- four cylinders in a line mounted transversely, FWD, everything as you'd expect, competent but lacking personality. That kind of car just isn't cool until it has aged, and this one isn't old enough yet. I give it Uncool.

Don't particularly care for these Si Civics. I've seen plenty of them, been inside them, and I just can't get excited about it (haven't driven one yet, though). I'd much prefer a Type-R, and not for the "#JDM y0! freshness" (not into that). I'd much rather take an EP3 hatch or possibly the old Si coupe (EK?). I'll give it a meh, because I have no doubt its at least an O.K. car, but it doesn't light my fire in any way.

Also, its a Civic "Yes."

This what what happens when a manufacturer wants to make a beige car look appealing to young people. Seriously Uncool.

Going off aesthetics alone, they look no different then the lower trim Civics haha.

This generation of Civic never really did much for me. The Type R is alright, but apart from that... meh.
