Best thing to do would be to go by the rulebook at that time. Sadly, I'm not sure if you can find it, but I'm fairly sure the engines at that time were unjacketed aluminum 572s running on Nitromethane.

I did sosme research and from what I found was that they were 500c.i. max. displacement and pumping out 6,500 hp (1992 specs). I've been trying to find an old NHRA rulebook that specs out the rules for Top Fuel in 1992.At that time Kenny Bernstein was running on 90 % Nitro (I did find that much)
