Thanks amar for that, REALLY looking forward to tuesday!!
Isn't Spa a very hard track to obtain a license for?
Can't be that hard to do if Codemasters got it some 3-4 years back. How it took PD so long is still beyond me.
They're not RM cars.I hopehopehopehope that the DLC cars are available as RM's.... otherwise they'll be completely useless to me. Well maybe not COMPLETELY, but I've had very few expectations going into this and have so far been very happy, I'd hate for PD to destroy the one expectation I DID have... that being that these cars could be purchased as Race Mod's.

That would be cool, but it appears that you can only use the tracks online or if they have a Seasonal for them. New events would be a natural edition, let's hope we get it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one having these thoughts. How people can defend PD's approach to GT5 is beyond my understanding.
Improve from what? The current version of the game HAS improved greatly from initial release both in bug fixing and content. Yes more work needs doing but at least there are frequent updates.
If they don't fix it (or at the very least make it clear that they will fix it) as soon as possible after the obvious backlash happens, I'm very likely going to wash my hands of the entire game outside of weekly event races, .
We are only getting close to what it should have been like at launch, 1 year later... how sad is thatÉ
You're talking nonsense, I beat Shift in less than a month, it wasn't big of a game and online was a mess, lag fest with wonky slide o matic control. Who needs matchmaking when you have friends and besides most matchmaking leaves you with random people who want to kick you for being too good (FM3) of just decide it's fun to drive backwards.
Those games are selling on franchise history, Batman hasn't even had a sequel how on earth did that get into this considering it only has on iteration. I said Single player will always be around, but it will not be the bread and butter for any major publisher, just take a look at all the online multiplayer games coming out. WoW puts that single player bread and butter stuff to pasture, CoD came and added to that, now look at how many pubs are jumping on the MP bandwagon...there is a reason. Money is in it people enjoy playing with human and not AI, simple fact humans are unpredictable and it feels better to own a human versus the AI. I hate MMO considering how much money people sink into them it's crazy, but that is the future micro transactions.
I think you value your opinion a bit much, online overrated? Sure tell that to the people who constantly do everything online, cloud saving of information, shopping, planning, gaming. What are you doing online, considering it's overrated?
You know there is a Arcade option right??
There you can do as many races as you desire..
You can even set the AI level. 👍
But I guess you only want to race to level up, not just for the sake of racing...
why don't you go the whole way and just stop playing the game and move to something different?
i think what's more sad is people are still complaining after a year of updates and changes. Sell your copy of GT, that's if you have one in the first place mate
There cannot possibly be a technical reason that PD was forced to include the DLC in the way that they have. Even if, for some ridiculous reason, PD designed the game so that they cannot expand the RM models, they added nearly a dozen cars to the NCD with Spec II for free. So either PD designed the game so thwas a hard limit on the amount of cars available in the NCD, or they are simply acting on the same wisdom that made it so most of the Photomode functionality is locked away for 80% of the cars.Thing is, are you sure that it CAN be helped?
You act like people should assume that it will. If there is some basis for that assumption at this point, I honest-to-god want to hear what it is.You act like you know the future of GT5, and that the situation will never change
Are you saying that, assuming that it does end up being released in the way that the OP says it is, that such reactions aren't justified? The DLC isn't even out yet, and already you're throwing a fit about it!
You apparently aren't aware of this, but that's what "wash my hands of it" means. You should be happy, though, because that means that you would finally be rid of me as I finally leave the game behind like many of the other older members have already. But by all means carry on, because it provides much in the way of cheap entertainment.why don't you go the whole way and just stop playing the game and move to something different?

Seriously?Sorry if I ask but what's the difference for you? They'll have the same features of paintable RM cars.

Apparently when owner of the Lounge have DLC track enabled, all people in his Lobby can can use it.
Itès been a year, they should not still need to be improving it if it was done much better to begin with, and even with that they agme still has major issues, A-spec is a small and shallow, no damage, leaderboards, weird design decisions, Standard cars, cannot change rims on Standards, AI not improved in the one made its needed most, a-spec...

I think its sad people keep complaining about people complaining, and willing to accept how PD and Sony let the PS3 flasgship title get in the state its in.... up your standards. it was complaints that got Gt5 to Spec 2.0.. If every was a blind sheep and praised it it still be the way it is at launch... BAAAH, BAAH.
No one forces you to respond or read the posts...
because most multiplatform racing games perform much better on the Xbox due to its Dev friendly codding and the Forza series getting closer and closer to GT(the reviews actually rate it much better)
