If it can be traded, it can be duped.
I know, but I wouldn't want to resort to duping them..especially if im paying for them

My only real question/concern is the status of DLC regarding multiple accounts on a system. Is it like most other games' DLC and the Stealth cars where it's available system wide, or will it be tied to the account that purchases it.
Wait. A thought occurred. Is it possible (oh please god be the case) that the version they sent amar will be different than the one consumers will get?
So journalists instantly have the content to review rather than have to jump through hoops to get it?

NOOO!!
We have to be able to use cars on Kart Arena. Imagine the smoke effects.
I doubt it, they were likely just given an early access code to the DLC.
👍👍👍
It would be amazing for photo's.
Then they get one chance of reprieve. This was already enough to make me go from buying all of the DLC on day one to not buying any of it, because my god how can they do something so dumb as that?
If they don't fix it (or at the very least make it clear that they will fix it) as soon as possible after the obvious backlash happens, I'm very likely going to wash my hands of the entire game outside of weekly event races, because at that point I won't have any faith that anyone in the company has any idea what they are doing anymore. I put up with stupidity like the Photomode restrictions, and the level system imbalances, and the paint chip system, and all of the other common-sense-yet-intentionally-done-anyways bad design decisions. But if they are even going to start forcing similar silliness into stuff that you pay extra to put in the game nearly a year later then all hope is basically lost for GT5.
Pretty dramatic climax...
It's been a year. If they still haven't gained any common sense at this point (and the things described in the OP makes it pretty clear that they haven't) and are now charging you for the chance to teach you that they haven't, I see no reason to hold onto any hopes that the game will improve.
It was my very first thought when I saw the track. AND that was before Amar212 said the lights actually danced. Pure ecstasylike that
There are silly issues with GT5 to this day that PD intentionally placed in the game for reasoning that doesn't seem to amount to anything but "because". The way the DLC appears to be being handled shows that not only is it unlikely that they will ever do anything about those ones, but they are hell bent on adding even more as they go along.Improve from what? The current version of the game HAS improved greatly from initial release both in bug fixing and content. Yes more work needs doing but at least there are frequent updates.
ToronadoWho was the idiot that thought that implementing DLC that way rather than using the RM system already in the game was a good idea? Or the paints being one-time use only? The kart thing I can understand, because that might be a technical limitation, but Sweet Christmas. Whoever it was needs to be shot out of the company with a cannon.

Apparently when owner of the Lounge have DLC track enabled, all people in his Lobby can can use it.
But what are we supposed to do if we want to race sports cars around a near perfect Nurburgring using a well designed, great feeling Logitech wheel?I'm glad I'm not the only one having these thoughts. How people can defend PD's approach to GT5 is beyond my understanding.
This is the most silly thing I've read all week. Now this just doesn't make sense. Only those that pay should be able to play the track. I'm all up for everyone being able to race spa, but sponging off somebody else? Will have to see if this is the case.

The way he just went up the Eau Rouge was amazing. And they were running on Comfort Softs, no?
Thing is, are you sure that it CAN be helped? No one can be. It couldn't be helped that PD wasn't able to let us choose the time of day during offline play. Someone stated this on the forum and they knew it to be true so I'm just a messenger. Other things can't be helped that ARE silly, like not being able to choose to skip a song during a race. Sounds easy enough, but why can't we do it? It's still something I'm grateful for because only a handful of PS3 games let you choose your own music. I don't like the fact that mechanical damage options are missing for A-Spec even though I don't used A-Spec, but that's an issue that seems like it can be helped, but why isn't it worked out yet? There are silly issues with GT5 to this day that PD intentionally placed in the game for reasoning that doesn't seem to amount to anything but "because". Or any color shifting, pearl painted car. This is something I'd feel completely let down by if we're not able to drive cars in there. Other kart tracks let you, this should not be ANY different. Seems as though Toronado might be right about a different version the journalists were given.I thought that the blur from the colourful lights would look brilliant flowing around a purple R33.

Not sure but i assume they were using the Sport Hard tires that come originally with the SLS AMG.
