GTP Exhaust + Car best Combo's

The Jaguar XJ220 has a satisfying stock exhaust. The only other exhaust available on it is the titanium exhaust but it just doesn't sound as good.

I put the Semi-Racing (eh don't quite know the GT5 exact term) exhaust on my restored AE86 Levin with a supercharger, and it sounds EXACTLY the same as Takumi's 20v 4AG AE86 from the 4th stage anime! i was like woah

But Takumi's AE86 is a Trueno... as far as I know.
Just wonder if the Levin and Trueno sound the same? :dopey:

I forgot which type of exhaust does it come with stock.. Semi-Racing? :)

I still absolutely love the racing exhaust when used on the ACR Viper, but I should say that I prefer the sound when engine has been minimally tuned or geared long and kept low in the rpm range, I'm less intoxicated when the engine speed shoots up and down quickly.

I notice you've still got the Camaros mixed up. The SS is listed only with the titanium exahust, but the Z/28 is still listed with the sports exahust. I can't vouch for the '69 SS, but I've tested all four exhausts on on the '69 Z28 (the premium one). Stock and full-racing are the only exhausts that sound good on that car.

(I can't even remember how many messages I've posted to this effect).

Also, the Chevrolet SSR sounds realistic with the racing exhaust.

I can't compare to the real life sound, but the Clio renault sport V6 24V '00 sounds the best with the semi racing exhaust.

Great thread by the way we should have all the cars mentioned here.

haha thank you, I Hope we eventually get a vast number of cars on the list.

My Gran Turismo 350ZRS with semi-titanium exhaust(I think), I don't think anyone has done this. Although I don't think any of the exhausts even sound like a VQ, I think this is the loudest/best sounding Z in the game.
Start @ 1:50 and listen to the brown 350ZRS

Nice Video, some one needs to confirm that though because I thought Stock and Sports Sounded more like the ones In my area

i realize there isn't a Maserati GranTurismo S entry.

Maserati GranTurismo S with sports exhaust (sounds closest to real life exhaust note)

Since I'm getting tired of writing messages about the '69 Camaro Z/28, I'm just going to start copypasting my most recent message on the subject.

I've been waiting for someone to agree, I am going with what the posters say. If a few guys agree, it must be right.

For the M3 CSL; Titanium Semi-Racing is the closest to the original!
Same for the normal M3 E46 and Z3M Coupe.
Stock exhaust is nowhere near at all!👎

They are the closest!

Titanium Racing on the CSL is very similar to Eisenmann Race exhaust installed actually!

Btw, look away from the license plate >.<

Good suggestion for the aftermarket exhaust. Look close to the Eisenmann. But I think the stock exhaust on CSL sound pretty good. Not perfect, but it's similar.

But for normal E46 M3 is completely wrong. As stated, sound like E92 V8. On normal E46 I use the sports one.

The Z3M Coupé stock sounds like an inline 6. Just not like the S52 :(

Well, i looked for something that was realistic for these cars.

Just as OP has stated that the race exhausts on both Ford GT and Mach 1 are realistic for those cars.

If the Semi Racing exhaust sounds as close as the car in the video, then considered it installed :P

Bumping with few of my favourite exhaust notes:

Buick GNX @ Stock / Sports (low rev growl at Sports is amazing)
Ferrari 430 Scuderia @ Stock
Chevrolet Silverado Concept (pick-up) @ Stock
Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 @ Stock

And finally my absolute favourite

Jaguar XFR @ Stock (one of the best sounds in-game)

The stock Jaguar XFR sounds horrible, goodness knows what weird animal PD used for sampling :(

EDIT; The Subaru Imprezas are definitely all 🤬, not one of their exhausts (including modification) sound like;

Actually, most of the GC Imprezas have the unequal length manifold sound in stock form. But then a stock Impreza is never going to sound like the one in your vid.

I guess it's just not en vogue in Japan any more, and the Imprezas in the game are mostly Japanese spec.

It's kind of sad though, the sound that I always hear on UK models is one of the factors that I love about the Impreza. :(
