GTP Exhaust + Car best Combo's

I switched the two premium astons to semi-race exhaust, sound really great. The vantage stock sound is great, semi race got nearly the same sound note a bit louder.

Again i have to thank Kaz: THANKS for lowering the volume of custom transmission gearwhine, it is so much better now 👍

Ferrari[/B]

FERRARI 458 '09 - Stock
FERRARI 512 BB '76 - Stock
FERRARI 599 '06 - Stock
FERRARI F40 '92 - Stock
FERRARI CALIFORNIA '08- Stock
FERRARI ENZO '02 - NONE unfortunately.]

Have to agree here, what with all the people running around with their maxed out 458 at 9000rpm. How theyre not annoyed is beyond me, whenever someone brings in a V8 ferrari or 599 with the titanium exhaust i have to turn the volume all the way down. The Enzo's titanium sounds weird, but whichever note you get when you race against it in the MR cup is the best one IMO.👍

Oh tell me about it, I drive my 599, 458, and ANY Lambo with stock exhaust always, just can't stand what PD has done with some exhaust notes.

The F430 and 458 actually sound pretty decent with stock exhausts.

I honestly don't know what gave PD the idea that cars sound completely different after putting an exhaust on it, and would love to hear their reasoning. Strange.

Or the idea that two completely different cars sound exactly alike.

It's been a problem for some time now.....PD appears much more focused on the graphics, which are undoubtedly top quality...but at what price? Is sound secondary? It shouldn't be. It's an integral part of the racing/driving experience.

If GT5 is a "C" game, then adding proper sound would make it a "B" game. Without question.

Instead, we get "A" graphics and "D" sounds.

That's the thing with PD. They don't always focus their attention on making a certain aspect of GT5 good, such as the gameplay, yet when they do, it's something that doesn't really affect the game too much.

I honestly would be playing GT5 a lot more if the cars sounded like they should. Car sounds, in my opinion, are part of the driving experience.

OP

I'd like to correct a huge mistake you've made on the first page.. the Vauxhall version of our beloved Holden Monaro is not in the game, it is featured as a Holden.

A little respect yeah?

Lotus Elise 111R - Titanium Semi-Racing Exhaust

In my opinion, a great four-cylinder noise. The stock one is just a bit too bland and "vaccummy," but this one does sound good. :)

not sure how this happened haha

Callaway C12 '03 - Titanium Semi-racing
Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (C4) '90 - Stock, it's the only option with any real rumble, some may also like the Sport
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport (C4) '96 - Stock
Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 - Stock/Sport - the Sport has a metallic/industrial sound with an underlying rumble, I think it suits the fully tuned car well

I'd like to add that the Mclaren MP4-12C sounds much better than stock with the Sports Exhaust. It's not completely like the real car, but it sounds like a flatplane V8 should, very enjoyable, and is TONS better than the stock vacuum cleaner. I now enjoy driving the MP4-12C more often :D

It's funny because the Cobra with the Full Race exhaust sounds like a stock lightning.. :P

I'll update the OP when I'm back home, thanks for the additions guys.

This.

The Nissan GT-R Black Edition '12 sounds pretty good with the Sport or Semi Race exhaust. Personally, I prefer the Sport because it doesn't sound too different and has quad pipes.

BMW M3 CSL - Stock Exhaust, Titanium Semi-Racing (Sounds much like an Eisenmann exhaust.)
BMW M3 E46 - Stock (best sounding but sounds like a V8 )

There are 3 E46 M3's in the game. The regular M3 '04, which sounds like a 6 cyl, the M3 CSL, whichs sounds like a 6 cyl and the M3 GTR, which sounds like a V8 because it has a V8.

Sorry for bringing this old topic up but I just had to point that out. :dopey:
