GTP Exhaust + Car best Combo's

Yeah, the thread is going really great! Thanks for the feedbacks Smuttysy. Just want to correct one info: the Audi Le Mans Quattro have a V12 engine, not a V10 like you said it should sound like. Anyway, its wrong, as it sounds like a V8... :(

What can I say, 3am typing, I'm only surprised I spelt Audi correct! lol
(I'll amend the original post accordingly)

Really wish the Avant '02 stock note was on the 80's Quattro, as it's really close to a well tuned 20v Quattro or rally model from the time.

Oh, sorry... didn't meant to make you mad about it. Yeah, playing GT5 until 3am I know how it is!

Yeah, the Audi Quattro sound is really incorrect... nothing remember a 5 cylinder... they could've used the Fiat Coupé Turbo stock sound, really sounds like a 5cyl.

Not mad at all mate, just realising the error or my bleary eyed posting skills :ouch:

The Quattro, one of the most distinctive exhaust notes ever.

How could PD have messed this one up so badly!?

Have you guys heard the Shelby Series 1 with a stock exhaust? At low revs it doesn't sound like much, but up in the higher revs and when you down shift, it sounds great, almost like an mod Trans-Am racer.

Will add all the cars to the OP. Added 2 new names to the Huge thanks part of the OP as well.. and i really mean it, thanks guys

Glad to contribute :)
Gonna start on the B's soon, though I might miss out the BMW's, as they all tend to sound the same. (Plus, we pretty much got them all covered anyways, lol)

Ok, here we go... first impressions on some DLC cars.

Aston Martin Vantage V12... stock sound is eargasm. One of the best, if not THE BEST stock sounds PD ever made... I still can't believe.

VW Beetle... perfect with stock exhaust. Sports and Semi-Racing are not perfect, but they sound like boxers... The Racing titanium is terrible. I would stay with stock or sports/semi racing

totally agree, Sounds good with the Sports/Semi for that Classic Boxer sound.
But also keep in mind, I believe each one might also look different on the car, if anyone cares about looks.

yes.

Is there any way to get my '10 STI to not sound like a zipper? I want that boxer rumble.

The true boxer rumble? IMO the only scooby in gt5 that have a little rumble is the STi '99 with stock exhaust. All the new ones sound like vaccum cleaner. Need for Speed Pro Street even had better sounds.

To be honest, I thought that the Vantage sounded even more beastly with the titanium racing exhaust, because it made it louder :D

Chad D.
Do you have a video of a Vantage with a racing exhaust? No. Most likely not, so, we'll never know, to be honest though, it makes the original sound louder.

I really don't think it sounds like the original sound but louder. To my ears it sounds exactly like the viper's v10 with racing titaniun exhaust. Better with the stock exhaust.

Sitting at lights i heard a strange sound on the way to work this morning, spun my head around to see a M5 V10 had turned at a intersection and was pulling away fairly fast. Man did that sound good and loud, never heard (or seen) one before IRL.

The M5 V10 is by far my favorite Bimmer. I will have one, one day. I will post a video here for sure!

The only problem with the M5 V10 is that they sound just a little bit diesel-ish at idle, bit too much rattling going on. Aside from that they sound great.

We need the Combo's to keep rolling in, c'mon guys 👍

Il try and do a few this weekend.
I did a 240sx yesterday and I LOVED the semi racing. It sounded sooooo good and downright real :dopey:

Il check the list and start doing my own runs. Il even test them on a paradigm surround sound, with my headset, and through the tv 👍
