I don't know of you can still do it, but, there is a setting somewhere to set your GT6 name and it has a first and last name field. Think everybody gets 3 changes for free. Might only be 2 though. The Geezers might be able to fool around with that and see if something works for a "clan tag".

You can still leave both plugged in and set the DS3 as the number 1 controller. After you've loaded GT6, press and hold the PS button on the DS3 and some options should appear to set your controller priority so the DS3 works in GT6 with the wheel plugged in. This doesn't preclude the wheel calibrating every time you launch GT6.

Correct, but I forgot to mention that I also login to 4 I/D's each day to keep the bonus maxed on each one.:crazy:
I don't want that wheel spinning until I'm in the right I/D to race.;)

Your only option then is to unplug it while you're switching between profiles.

The best way to invite a new prospect is to PM me here on GTPlanet and ask them to friend SCClockDR-GT5 via the XMB menus.

Then I can match your offer to the friend request. If no match, I'll friend them from SCClockDr29379 so random FR's get properly screened.

After I changed my name for the fourth time total it said that I can change it two more times. So it's three times again.

It appears you can change your name 3 more times after the recent update.

Hello! I tried the Subaru VIZIV time trial and don't have a clue as to how the drive power works. If I start the lap and build speed as one would normally do by smashing the accelerator to the floor, then start driving the lap aggressively, the car sputters and comes to a halt half way around the first lap. If I accelerate smoothly, I run out of power just prior to the lap (very slow lap). I've tried all manner of accelerator control, running consecutive laps etc but always wind up sputtering during some part of the lap. I am clearly not understanding something. How do I make this car work?

I noticed that too. I believe the many memos flying around Subaru offices had a coded name for the problem. They wanted to fix it before it's release to the public and to do it quietly. Smuggled out VIZIV memos show they were unable to fix it and just released it as the new Subaru VIZIV (Virtual Interrupter Zeros Instant Velocity) and gave the ok to start producing the Toyota and Scion versions yesterday.

I had a Turtle Beach wired Surround Sound headset and loved it, but the cats ate the fine cord to the headset.

I got a Sony Pulse Elite wireless and found out later that it was "Simulated" Surround Sound. The cats stole the USB Bluetooth transmitter and I've been unable to find it. (We foster kittens for the local "no kill" adoption center so I have limited control over them.) The controls were hard to feel when on your head and hard to get use to. It was nice and had a high quality feel but the headband was hard on the top of my head (and I have lots of hair for a Geezer).

I just got a wireless Turtle Beach Stealth 500P. "7.1 DTS Surround Sound" It's light weight and cheaper feeling than the Sony but the sound and controls are much better. I tried a car with stock exhaust (so I could hear the other cars) on the Daytona Seasonal and played with the cars around me. I could really tell if there was a car behind me on the left or right rear. This also worked on a "first person shooter" game I play. I can hear someone coming up behind me and which side he's on.

I found out unless the headset uses the Optical Output from the rear of the PS3, it is not true "Surround Sound". Surround Sound doesn't come from the USB.

I hope this may help someone.
