@Wayne Gratiot You are a member of GTP-Geezers Club and my Geezer fog is lifting to reveal GG&G = "Geezers, Geezlings & Goslings" @PapaGnr will giter done I'm sure.

Thanks Doc! You fixed my "pain" or Papa did. The invite I got from Papa didn't work, but when I tried later, I was able to sign up.
I'm in and about to try some of the events.
Thanks again guys.

Thanks to all the Geezers & friends who took the time to take part in my club events.

I've created 2 more for the Hudson on snow & dirt. @mots suggested doing some for the Volvo Estate Wagon. 👍 It could be fun or a disaster. I'll let you know. :gtpflag:

PapaGnr I also get a failed message when trying to join. If you don't mind could you send me an invite also. The events sound like a lot of fun and challenging.

Thanks

In WRS and SNAIL about half or so of the invitees have failed to get in....but if given the room number they return after searching for club by number are then able to join by using the join button which has then appeared. It is a glitch...some see the button...some don't. But, regardless if they have not been invited, of course they can't join.

Greetings all ....I'm an ex military aviator , 67, fanatic GT6 driver, squeeky clean, average speed, love spec racing, can't tune for beans....wife says I'd race cockroaches in a toilet bowl.....yes dear.

Please be aware there is an IPhone app for PS4. Both that & the PS4 console see PS3 FR's. The non-PS3 responses & FR's fail to populate the GT-6 in-game friends list preventing club invites in private clubs.

So please use the PS3 console for all club building activities/communication to ensure success.

spooky21 & I were victims of this glitch, looks like he only has a PS4 so not a GT6 player.

Another Geezer Challenge for you, with an appropriately vintage ride.

Again, it's the Intermediate Seasonal on Roma. Your car is the FIAT 500 out of 1965. The rabbit is the Ferrari Dino.

Any tune you like, of course.

The 500 is a real Alfa beater (groan), yet so far I can't get within 10 seconds of the Ferrari. The Dino saw (groan again) me off each time.

Here is my latter-day Topolino showing large cars how it's done.

Do you think a more macho color would give me an edge?

Suggest a 'Chrome' paint job might aid airflow. :gtpflag::cheers:

The Volvo events set up under the GGG club are great!

Takes me back to driving on gravel roads in outback Australia as a young gung ho driver!

The one in the snow inspired thoughts of an open car mandate. A quick trial in the Cobra at PP500 confirmed that it's very slidey, and the replays are an opportunity for fun photography. The 1959 Corvette Concept may be a good choice too, although I have yet to try it on snow.

Dear fellow geezers, but now for something completely different:
I was driving the 550PP 2WD Non-Racing Car Super Lap: Red Bull Ring and made a
1:35,956 with the Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car,
but then I tried the Ferrari GTO '84 and that car is incredibly fast (using Praiano's Tune), I could catch all the guys from my friends-list, but I have a problem:
I can't get the car through the last 2 quick left-benders, because the car is just sliding.
It is a mixture of oversteer and sliding out of the bend or oversteer and understeer at the same time or everything together... difficult to describe.
Does anybody know which screws I could turn to get rid of this under/oversteer-slide and can also drive fast corners fast?
Thanks a lot!
I use the following Setup currently:

Ferrari GTO '84

75/75
10,00/13,10
8/7
7/8
5/5
0,5/1,0
-0,12/+0,12
Brake Balance: 8/10

Gear Box:
Initial Final: 5,000
Top Speed: Minimum
1st 2,555
2nd 1,923
3rd 1,498
4th 1,196
5th 0,984
Final Gear: 3,100

LSD:
10/15/20
Triple Plate Clutch

Power:
Limiter 97,7
Exhaust: Sports
Intake Tuning
All other Power-Features are Standard

Body:

Custom Wing: C/E/E
Height: +0
Width: +26
Downforce 0/20
Ballast: 13 kg @ +50
Weight Reduction: Stage 3
Window Weight Reduction

Would be thankful for every idea that could help unleashing the power of this beautiful car on this track (and maybe we could all climb up the ladder in this Event).

Meantime I Keep trying... :banghead:

Try one lesser grade tire on the front. That was the loaner setup for the SIERRA Challenge that awarded the car for Gold.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "one lesser grade tire on the front"?
I mean we are on Sports Hard already, do you mean something like "Comfort Soft" or so?
And it's not a question of getting Gold, which I did in my very first lap already, but driving another car than the Honda NSX-R Prototype and... driving it faster!

CS on the front SH on the rear is correct. Go look at your GTO SIERRA replay or just go to the event and look into the panel where TC is set, CS Front - SH Rear.

Thanks for the hint, but... sorry, didn't help too much.
It's a bit better, but just a little bit and in the end still 2 seconds slower than the Honda NSX.
But I found out something different that is a bit strange to me:
I first drove with Tracktion Control 1 and then 0 and couldn't improve any further.
Then I went to TC 2 and finally 3 (ASC is OFF), and the difference between TC 1 and 3 is half a second faster with TC 3!?
And I always thought increasing TC is slowing the car down (as is saif of ASC also and was the case since GT5!?).
And I also found out that in the current Suzuka TT the Tommykaira ZZII is faster with ASC on by 0,5-1 seconds!

Yours truly confused...
Tom
