Thanks for the hint, but... sorry, didn't help too much.
It's a bit better, but just a little bit and in the end still 2 seconds slower than the Honda NSX.
But I found out something different that is a bit strange to me:
I first drove with Tracktion Control 1 and then 0 and couldn't improve any further.
Then I went to TC 2 and finally 3 (ASC is OFF), and the difference between TC 1 and 3 is half a second faster with TC 3!?
And I always thought increasing TC is slowing the car down (as is saif of ASC also and was the case since GT5!?).
And I also found out that in the current Suzuka TT the Tommykaira ZZII is faster with ASC on by 0,5-1 seconds!

Yours truly confused...
Tom
When I need to improve rear grip, I soften the rear springs, lower the rear extension damper, increase rear Ride Height, or some combination of. Then again some cars are very troublesome in this regard. I'll try the GTO when I have reliable internet again, no WiFi at this campground.

Yes Possum, it's possible to beat the Dino, but not every time.

The '65 is a hard race to catch the Dino, a good 5 to 10 seconds quicker at the end of the race

Where i am losing 10 seconds on thee hudson snow challenge?

 Hi THERE Uncle_Pollo, I'l share what I have on the Mario hot rod.

Be sure to do the oil change. The car will be at 411pp, 208hp, 395 ft lb torque, 6.21 kg/hp then give this set up a try:

RH: 220/165 / SR: 4.25/4.32 / Comp: 4/4, Ext: 4/4, ARB: 3/3, Camber: 0/0, Toe: 0.05/0.20 (yes, positive - not neg),, Racing Brakes: 4/4

Power: add the supercharger,, all other options are Standard

Trans: don't flip it,, just move the Max Speed to 137, Final Gear to 4.100 1st gear should be 1.376, 2nd gear 1.041, 3rd gear 0.843

No adjustments for the LSD, in the BODY - try "0" ballast, then slide the Position to +25. "Why slide the ballast when there's no added weight?" you might ask,, well - there' mixed thoughts on this one but I agree with the NASCAR guys,, fuel is ballast.👍

Yes, in the real world as fuel is depleted the position should change ~ but this is virtual. So, we're open to hear what you feel about this fuel = ballast deal.

Best of LUCK and remember,, GEEZERS RULE! :gtplanet:

I gave the GTO go last night as I noticed Seasonals consume very little bandwidth.

Grip is indeed an issue with this car, I managed a 1:40.xxx lap for a Gold but I think a 1:35.xxx may prove unreasonable for this car in my hands.

Other than the traffic snarl,, your place looks like a fantastic place to be Nisoks!! Thanks for sharing these photos. Have more ?? Some of your homestead perhaps?

I got more pix, if I can ever figure out how to set up a photo sharing thingy I'll link it, so i don't block up the thread. unfortunately my computer skills are on par with my 2nd language skills so we'll see.

Thanks much NoSoks :) Love those palms,, or are they date trees? The roadside looks to be very well maintained and that wall,, is it ancient,, like a few hundred years? Doesn't really look "too old" but we Westerners oft times can't tell. In any event the wall is an architectural masterpiece. We know that you know,, having a wall similar to that in the US would cost $HUGE$ but there I bet the cost was more than reasonable. Thanks again partner and we'll hopefully see you "out there" on a track,, somewhere in GEEZER Land racing!

The climate in Indonesia tends to weather things rapidly, so walls like this acquire this beautiful patina of age really rapidly.

I'd guess it may be less than 5 years old, and is probably less than 10.

Look at the sign itself, it has already gained age marks too!

EDIT: My skills in Bahasa Indonesia are really rusty, but Google tells me that the sign reads:-

"careful there excavation optic cable"

I'd like to thank all the Geezers & friends who put in times in the TTs I created.

I hope you all had some fun or not.

There's a few new ones for you to check out. :gtpflag:

Hi Papa, could you please send me an invite as I'm yet another who cannot seem to 'get in'. :banghead:
