I was trying to find some online driving, but seems that I need specific step by step instructions to get in!
Geezer Club was ok with id and same thing was Gtplanet club, but what I should know more? Same thing
with Stewy.

Try this mots. You must join my club first because it's private (Stewy's is public), click on the event & then you must create a room by clicking on the green orb. Hope this helps.[/QUOTE]

The 'Green Orbs' that have been mentioned are actually, to me anyway, a 'Green World' shape made out of wire. Clicking on this will lead you to unbelievable riches in the shape of 'creating your own room' which when done will allow you to enter the TT's.

All this will happen providing you are first accepted to whichever club you wish to join. This could also lead to much :banghead: :banghead: and 🤬 🤬 but once completed the world is your oyster so as to speak.

Thanks again to @waukazoo and @PapaGnr for their help in lifting this veil of obscurity brought about by not RTFM or destructions.

Don't know if this is true or not but I was beginning to think that the 'owner' of the 'club had to be on-line at the time you first tried to join?

Thanks ,will try later, boy I thought I might have to get my 6yo Grandson to work it out for me Lol
Cheers Ozi

It seems there is a glitch of sorts with some being able to join the club straight away and others not being let in. I've been looking for answers to this on gt planet and the web. I've read through the online manual and still have no real answers. I'll keep tring to find a way to get eveyone in.

@jotafduarte the time trials set up relics lets you practice with other cars and drivers on track at the same time. When the time trial starts eveyone is on track but you can not draft as the event is set up to prevent that. You will only see the blue line from any other entrants cars.

Yes Jota, the TT results show for all the people that run the event at the same time. TTs can be set up to run with everyone at the same time either as ghosts, where you only see their blue line, or where you see the other cars, but then drafting comes into effect. These TTs are set up with blue lines.

If your referring to a results list like PD's, it can't be done. Wauk has to make a list of the TTs and find out who was fastest & so on.

Hope this helps.
Actually Papa, it can be done. Just not fully automated nor done by PD. Yes, it still takes some one to set up the data sheet and copy/paste the information from the club website. The end result you see in the second link however, is a result of @msgt-sd 's array formula genius that culls the entered data, pulls out the best laps and sorts out for us all to compare.

OK thanks
I just want to say that is easier to run with others than alone, then some can combine for best results.

Thanks very much DragonWhisky for those tips ,, but ya gotta remember partner - you're talk'n to a bunch a GEEZERS here  and unless I miss my guess (I hope I've not stepped on anyone's toes with this comment!:guilty:) there's very likely not an IT guy, or real savvy web designer among us who could duplicate the work the Snail guys have going on 👍👍 - unless perhaps we can get ozirules 6 year old Grandson ("Thanks ,will try later, boy I thought I might have to get my 6yo Grandson to work it out for me Lol - Cheers Ozi") do that for us! LOL :gtpflag:

While I'm still 9 years away from possible acceptance in the Geezers, I'm unwilling to accept there isn't one, or more, among this group that couldn't handle what we've got going on with those sheets. Web design skills are unneccessary nor does it take an "IT Savvy" person to do this. Time and attention to detail and being able to copy/paste the data where it needs to go are the primary tasks really. It may take a little work and training to get it there but I'm sure we can work that out, if the club is interested that is. If the club isn't interested, I'll be quiet.

This Geezer is actually computer-literate (and has been since 1964).

The hard bit is the copy/paste. Actually, not hard, just tedious.

Then it's easy to create a ranking, and I was figuring I'd just step in and do it. Then I found that the data has been partially purged. Some records are missing from the Club Events pages.

I'm volunteering to create stuff like the image below, but I just need access to the data.

Of course, this format is just an example and can be tailored to whatever y'all want.

We had the same thing happen to one of our events. One day some TT Results were there, the next, they weren't. I'd already did the copy/paste routine on those results, which was why I noticed them missing.

See there. I knew there are folks in this group, probably got more skills than the folks over at SNAIL.

If anybody has the TT data in any text form, just send it pasted in a private message, and I'll fix it up, and post it here

Thanks Possum, I'll bet Wauk-azoo will take all the help he can get with organizing the data, what you posted looks great.
I also noticed some of the results were gone and assumed, you know how that works, that they had been deleted because
that person had achieved a faster time so the old time was no longer needed. Let's hope that was the case.
You are now head of the Geezer IT Department, your paycheck is in the mail.

Thanks. But not so. When I did the copy/paste, there were 5 entries, two for @Daduce1947. I pulled his slower time out of the spreadsheet. I'm sure I saw a lot more data points back a few days ago, certainly, more than 4 people have tried the Triple Nickel TT #2

Decline Possum. Hurry! ;) :mischievous:

I just can't help myself! Every time I see a guillotine, I stick my neck out. :embarrassed:

Like recently, when I took over the job of webmaster for my Corvette club when the current webmaster had family stuff to deal with. But it's fun. And I've been using Excel since before version 1.0

I'll bet you used VisiCalc too. :D

We already have an Honorary Nurse, do want to be our Honorary IT Guy?
I appreciate the "sentiment" but I think you'll be in better hands with Possum than you ever would be with me.

@GBO Possum, Did you ever work with that horrible software called Enable? I don't recall when I finally caved and sipped from the MS Kool aid. Worked spreadsheets and data bases apps from Commodore 128 days, Lotus 1,2,3 and Approach, That horrible Enable the AF had years ago, fell in with the dark side for a brief period and worked with whatever apple was allowing on their systems and have worked with Excel for a number of years now. Google docs has been somewhat "fun" to work with but I am no "guru" with any of them.

Aw come on...stick around. Dragon is Head Steward and IT Ghuru ( regardless of what he says) for SNAIL where I also race. Great to see you here. Welcome from this newly aged (68 today) Geezer. Like me he a veteran...but ,unlike me ,he is non alien fast.
