I know, I'm a 2x member of the zipper club!

Goes with Geezerdom! Mine's a catheter ablation. There are a lot more difficult ones. One test has deferred until tomorrow where they shove an echo-cardiogram device down the gullet. It wouldn't fit. My gay porn star career opportunity is SO limited.

By the way, did anyone manage to win the seasonal on Apricot Hill with Jay Leno's Tank Car?

No prob Oz, I thought you got by me clean. Possum, I'm sure you will come out of your procedure just fine. They do these heart procedures like an assembly line. I know, I'm a 2x member of the zipper club!
Karter has just created the "Possum Geezer Challenge", how many "stents" are there in the Geezer Club?
I'll start, I have 4.

It's better living through chemistry for me, had 1 angiogram (no blockages). Just a nightly handful of pills to keep me going. The doc says I have afib & I just live with it, no pacemaker for me I guess.
I praise the Lord for each new day & avoid buying green bananas.

AH-HAH!!!! I KNEW something was going on. You guys have been implanted with mystical, magical, non-magnetic, stainless steel, death defying devices that obviously synchronize and align with your cars, developing highly combustible atmospheric anomolies that propel you down the track with incredible speed and precise cornering. Man, I knew something was going on, I just didn't know what. Now I do. Alas, I have no such devices so therefore I can't obtain those speeds and precise cornering, but still enjoy running with you.
Seriously though, I am grateful these little devices exist so that we are still able to race and enjoy your company. I wish you all the best with your health.

G'day gents,

First,, 'Ol DaDuce joins all the other GEEZERS in Wishing you ALL the BEST POSSUM!! We know you'll do OK buddy, but we're pull'n for ya anyway!

Next, **WOW!! **Wasn't the GEEZER EVENT racing absolutely AWESUM!! 👍👍👍👍 :gtpflag:Thanks to EVERYONE it was a resounding HIT and I'll just bet'cha there's gonna be alot more fun rac'n where that came from!!

Now,, this is a little off topic but I see PaPa's got some more fun looking challenges set up in his clubhouse.
One in particular caught my attention - TRUCKS!! Too cool but I didn't have a truck in my garage :banghead:,, key word here - didn't - until today that is :). Bit the bullet and dumped some of those credits I've had rusting away and bought every truck the game has to offer, ramped 'em up with all the goodies and NOW I can go give that challenge a go! Next task was finding tunes for them,, as luck would have it tunes for trucks weren't quick to find and I had to invest some time digging through GTP Tunes to find 3 of them in feydrautha's Arrakis Speed Shop:
Perhaps some of you gents have no problem finding tunes but there are a few times I've struggled, typed various configurations of the car I was looking for in the TUNES ADVANCED SEARCH,, clicked seemingly hundreds of pages before finding most of those I was looking for. Anyway, if you have trouble this can help save a bit of time:

Again, Go GET 'em POSSUM and we'll see you fellas out there,, somewhere in GEEZER 'dum!!

GEEZERS RULE!

Hello all you geezers out there, hope you are all well, i have opened a new club called geezer racing, id is 1027452 there is a time trial waiting for you when you get there. it is only a ten minute trial using vauxhall astra touring cars , no limits on tuning except nos which is prohibited. no limits on tyres ,all aids can be used except srf which is prohibited. it is a wet track and it's dark.
formula 1 fans will know what i mean when i say this is a challenge faced by Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone when he got it wrong, will you? :gtpflag::):):)

Hi Geezers

This is your Possum speaking, and there is no cause for alarm!

Thank you all for your much-appreciated encouragement! Some hours ago, I logged in here and your posts put a smile on my face. I quickly realized that I couldn't put a meaningful response together since the gray matter was still incapable of steering a course in a straight line.

It's nearly 3AM, and I can report that the cardiologist told my wife yesterday that the TEE and the catheter ablation went "perfectly", and I'm feeling pretty good. Even though composing this has been a bit of a struggle!

Thanks again, I'll be home again today and logging in for the bonus, if not actually driving! Go Geezers!!

Hello Possum, and it's great to see your voice. I had gotten up this morning and as I got ready for work my wife told me I had a message on my phone. I thought oh crap who is calling out sick today, but to my surprise it was a text from your wife advising me of your successful procedure. I don't know what time the text was sent, but I sometimes don't get the text messages for hours after they are sent - apparently I have a geezer phone. Anyway, I rushed to the computer to write about your positive report only to see you beat me to it. Best wishes Possum, and hope your recovery is faster than some of our laps.

P Mallard
