Nice photos PapaGnr. And it was another great afternoon of racing.
I managed to get a couple shots of us playing in that sandbox also.

Three wide in the dirt? Thats some really nice driving there guys!

I joined your lobby twice this evening, but for some reason, it kept knocking me out, so I gave up, plus nobody was talking to me......ha ha

There was a problem with the lobby for a while, we all saw you and assumed you could hear us and some people kept getting kicked out {server issue?}
Pity you could not join as we had a good nights racing again.
Hope to see you there soon, Stewy.

We had a lot of fun racing today, with geezers, geezlings & unknowns. There were 14 racers at 1 point. Here's a small sample of the action in the dirt.
Wow! Looks loads of fun. Missing you guys & the close online racing. Hope to have enough bandwidth in a few days. Meanwhile I've been earning some credits, filling my garage, tuning, & earning stars.
Thanks for the room alerts.

Wow, I have been having a major senior moment. Friend requests were a mystery to me until PapaGnr said I had some in a thread I started. I had never noticed them. I go right to GT-6 when I fire up the PS3. I tried to find "Geezer" rooms online, but it was like a needle in a haystack. Now with the friends filter it will be easy. Thanks for the requests. I don't race much in the summer, but look for me.

Hello Geezers. Thanks for the first online experience.

This is a public apology.

In the first race, it seems my GPS went a little wonky. Just after putting a tire on the grass.

As a result, I just may have distracted a few people. A little. Thank you for not yelling at me! :D

Here is what it looked like on turn 1 of lap 1. Mea culpa. :banghead:

EDIT: A little tuning has made a lot of difference. Instead of 1:23.5, it's now down to shade under 1:20 and controllable. Yes, a long way behind most of the field, but I'm hoping not to repeat the above performance :guilty:

No worries Possum. It was great having you there. Every one of us have done the same.
Aside from the server issues, we had near the end we all had a good time and a lot of laughs.
I'm already looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.
See ya all then.

Welcome to the Geezers... the main thing is that you enjoyed your first experience and hopefully there will be many more such times :)

Just like to echo GBO's thoughts as it was my first time as well, I would say it's the most fun I've had with my clothes ON for a long time and lets face it as the years progress the other options are not so appealing as they once were. :nervous:

Would also like to apologise for no sound as I'm awaiting delivery of Blue Tooth 'communications' device, hopefully here today.

Thanks again all, most enjoyable. 👍

If we have to apologize for our mistrakes during races I will not have any time left for online fun. I hear lots of
"sorry" along with the laughter during races and that's good enough for me. But I don't apologize to those stupid spectators on Eiger, and I must have killed at least two dozen of them.

Sorry my bad communication, hopefully I will get missing cable soon. I bought headset today, but could't find one cable
on sound back PS3.

Now my second time ever in on-line races and after this even the events driving looses a lot after this.

Happy to be retired and happy to belong Geezers Club

If your headset has a usb plug, it plugs into the usb port on the front of the PS3 next to where you plug in a wheel.

However, this was an inauspicious start to Geezering. Some might say "egregious"!

Thanks for the kind words. And for thinning out the Eiger crowds.

today was my second foray with some geezers and once again fun and great racing. Wish I could have stayed longer but a break from the rain meant I could get out for a bike ride, and this old carcass needed some exercise.

hi Pete.... I'm still a year shy of full membership, but these guys let me play anyway :) See ya out there bud

I had lots of fun yesterday and today, we had a great turnout. It was nearly a full grid for some races. 👍
Some good door to door racing even some two wheel racing. Thanks to everyone for getting together again.
