I'm having huge bandwidth problems. I'll let you know If I'll have to pull out of the series or not.

Sorry to hear about that, anonite! Hopefully you get it sorted out. The series doesn't start until January, so you've got quite a bit of time.

This place seems quiet. So are we gonna have any test rallies before January 12th?

Maybe, if we get enough interest. Need moar drivers!

It's a shame that there isn't a Viagra sponsored rally car. I want to be a stiff competitor.

And yes, we do need more people to join. Nothing ever seems to get interest other than the series that have already established their own ground.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. Hopefully another reason why we lack competitors is because the season starts in January... perhaps more people will join near the end of this month.

Any form of off-road racing is known to be poorly represented in GT5. It's not all that fun to many so they stay away.

This isn't offroad though lol. We'll be on tarmac for all but one or two races lol

Even though I'm mainly known for my NASCAR adventures, I have actually been checking this stuff out for a while now... however as of now can't say anything about my commitment. Also wouldn't the rally cars be a bit too easy to drive (on tarmac at least)? :dopey:

You'd be surprised. A few of them have quite severe oversteer, and they'll all have similar power, so it'll be driver technique that shows. :P

Glad you checked us out!

Don't forget to vote on my race report pole. Link in my signiture.

What do you mean race report poll.... I dont see it on my phone here

I will try and do some promotion myself and am thinking of putting a campaign video together for You Tube. I'm in hospital the next few days so won't be able to do much though until I'm back in action.

Thank you! I would make a promotional video myself, but I don't have a capture card and I don't fancy using clips filmed straight from the TV.

Get well soon!

Having tested a fair few laps I think people may be surprised by the abilities of the limited class vs. Super Cars class. Do we have an engine size cap on the limited class?

Thanks for signing up! I'll add you to the OP. :D

Not at the moment. Just a restriction of 500pp and it either being a hatchback or coupé. I'll have to see how the first few rounds pan out to see if any engine restrictions should be in place.

B-but... they're 4WD right? :nervous:

Wait, what tires does this series actually run with anyway? In tarmac races I mean. :P

The tarmac tyres will be limited to no higher than Sports: Medium.
When running these races will the room but set to 500PP Min for the limited class or will it be based on trust?

The classes will run seperately, and during the Super class heats the room will be limited to 560pp, and during the Limited class heats it will be limitied to 500pp.

So far we only have 9 drivers in total registered for a full-time campaign - that's both Super and Limited together. The Super class has 5 full-time drivers, and Limited has 6 - two of which are also signed up for Super, meaning we have 9 drivers in total. There's also a lot of empty teams. I was hoping for a lot more interest than this... I suppose people would just rather do normal track racing. :indiff:
