If they all fall on the same days as GRC or WRC, then sadly not. A shame though, as I was actually rather interested.

Hi!

I'm interested join in Super Class (i saw from your sign info).

Normal Form:
GTP Name / PSN Name / Class / Car / Car & Wheel Colour
jammy21 / GTP_Jammy / Renaultsport Clio Renault Sport Trophy Race Car '00 / tbd

Ps. I'm in WMA rallye series which takes place on Saturdays 18:00 GMT, so hopefully this is not same time?! See to be so then i can't make it to three first races :(

Which number is your Clio? I'll need to put that in the OP in case more people join with that car.

I'm in the WRC too, I'm hoping because there's roughly 2 weeks between each round in my series, we can alternate weeks with the GRC and WRC. The GRC starts at 19:00 GMT, but I think the WRC takes longer than an hour. :indiff:

TheYaShoe/ Ya-Shoe/ Super Class/ Toyota Corolla '98 rally car/ can't change wheel colour. Oh and if it interferes with the wrc season then wot be able to make it:(

Added to the OP. I'm hoping it doesn't clash with the WRC because I don't want to miss it. :indiff:

I have both yellow cars (#9 and #22). I pick #9 now and if someone comes along and need that number i can change to #22.

Thank you. :)

I've had a talk with rallymorten and I think he's going to try and make sure WRC and GRC don't clash.

Those RenaultSport cars don't have dirt or snow tires! You can't buy them. So have to think over if i join the series at all. Or if i'm still in what car i wanna drive. I'll be back...

I'm back :)

Ok i go to Citroën C4 WRC '08. Now i can have those dirt/snow tires :)

Damn! I was afraid of that. I'll add you to the Citroen team. Looks like I'll have to remove the Renault Sport teams though.
How about Ford WRC?

As James said, the Subaru GRT has both drivers needed however you can sign up as a reserve in case James or Marc cannot make a race. The BP Ford team is open, however the Ford GRT is full too. The BP team uses the '07 WRC Focus, the Global Rallycross team uses the '99 WRC Focus.

Thanks. I have a couple more questions. Start time? Race length?

Start time is 19:00 GMT, 2pm EST. I'm not sure how long the heats will take. I think each heat has about 3 or 4 laps, with the final heat having 6. It shouldn't take too long, as long as people co-operate.

I should be able to make that time slot. Only issue and conflicts for me would be work and soccer schedule.

Yes remove them.

Talking about race lenght - could you write down in OP how race procedure goes so that everyone knows how rallycross works and what is ahead of us. Thx.

Also tire choice could be different - i did last night some test and those sport:medium felt maybe too much grip. We could go sport:hard or even comfort:soft. This is just my thought and i'm ok with mediums though.
What others think of tire choice?

I ran some laps, I like the mediums, but I can manage hards. I'd like to stay away from comforts though.

Just read in OP that tire choice is everyone's own choice, so...

Yes, I can write down how the heats work. I think that's a good idea, actually. :)

Like you have noticed in the OP, you don't have to use Sports: Medium. You can use anything lower than those. You're just not allowed to use Sports: Soft or any of the Racing tyres. You could use Comfort: Hard if you really wanted to!

I think Jammy means for everyone to use sports hard tires, I think for my possible car choice the more grip the better
