I'd like to start testing for next weekend but its hard to test every track in the game. I like Cape Ring South as a Circuit and Madrid would be excellent as a street circuit would be a great addition. I know there will be lots of incidents at a street circuit but a street circuit would be nice. The ALMS has Long Beach

I will be back . . . dont you worry. I don't really like monza that much anyway. Only reason I got pole was I started from the front and got golfer in to the second chicane. He then acted as a rear gunner fending you and Nashy off. Oh well once again can't wait till next week.

On lap 2 you were swerving from side to side of the track out of the chicane and you made contact with me. The incident on lap 6, my braking into the chicane was fine but on the exit your car suddenly angled itself at diagonal to the track with the front pointing off the track and it acted as a barrier for the brief second it happened. Pushed me into the gravel. I think incident two was just unfortunate lag and in regards in the first incident, don't get me wrong, it happened because of Jav swerving but overall in the race it wold of only cost me the gap between me and 6th and i doubt i would of made the pass so I'm not bothered about the two incidents anymore. Im annoyed that you were swerving but ahhh I'll let it go.

The swerving was caused by the effing damage you gave me on the first corner when you pinned me into the wall sending me spinning.
My car magically went sideways on lap 6 right after you clipped me and send me spinning again!!

im not racing in this series untill the rules have been changed and some kind of penalty system, plus alot of people need to learn how to give respect to other drivers instead of using them as a break/wall

Ok so the swerving was from the damage I cause but i didn't clip you at all on lap 6. Besides I've said I wouldn't gain much from the incidents not happening so I'm not bothered.

i would suggest everything should be banned apart from traction control and ABS.

most accidents are caused because of the driving line, its stupid and people dont look around where the cars are they just look at breaking points which are wrong anyway... plus its unfair when driving at night etc

cant think of any more i would need to look (i think its only little points like the above)

A shame with the connection issues. Not blaming you Mike, it can happen at with Bermuda as host too. I had to be delayed and skip qualify, but I had to eat first :) Chaotic race start as many of you have already mentioned.

JML: How many laps were you behind? I think I passed you 7 times, not sure though :)

I vote for Grand Valley in the next race - a bit longer track that could suit these cars well - BUT - it is a very difficult track, especially the first corner is tricky with these cars.

Too bad it wasn't raining, it's been so long since it has the last time. I hope it'll rain in the season finale on La Sarthe.

Paginas: 👍 No racing line, but also a bit of attention. I think the main reason is that many is racing the AI in GT Life - not much competition and you don't have to defend yourself. I find myself in a dangerous situation everytime I want to defend myself going in to a corner - changing line only once.
 
it rained on the test session on wednesday. That was great because i had tonnes of grip in the rain on racing soft while BermudaKID and Daibaspeed were sliding about on intermediates.

Yeh I'd agree with that. Up to Bermuda. I think already at the moment though the majority run without racing line anyway.

Also if we are voting on tracks I wouldn't mind Suzuka or daytona road course.

You are not bothered but you didn't think twice before starting to write and accusing me of your own doing right after the race huh?
And guess what? Bombe won by 40some seconds, add up the time I lost thank's to you and gues what! Yet again you costed me a win this time!
 
Well, as long as we're taking frankly about driver aids, I hate the driving line and think it prevents people from developing as decent racers.

daibaspeed, I know we had a few side-by-side bumps coming out of corners or through chicanes, one resulting with me messing up and spinning, I think one with you spinning as well. Hope it wasn't a big issue 👍

Definitely agree with you! If someone really needs the driving line they got no business steping into a competitive series in this type of car.
 
Let's not be so negative, I really doubt that anyone in here creates accidents intentionally, and of course there is a difference in the driving level of some of us. Misunderstandings and bad decisions is a part of this :) Many times I think both drivers can avoid an accident, I definately learned that when I played GRID the last 2-3 years. Epic game btw ;)

Maybe the R8 is too good? Idk how much you guys have played with your cars' settings, but I can't make any car competitive to the R8 - only the GT-ONE on wonder laps.

Awesome spreadsheet btw, looks fantastic, but I think our team name is The Raceists - having it say The Racist sounds really - well, misleading (Idk about MC CAULEY though) :D It's a good word play (or is it called game in English?)

I think there definitely could be some pre-season testing for Season 3 where we try and narrow down the list of available cars for racing so that the ones we choose from are pretty even.
 
The GT-One really cannot keep up too well with most of the cars. I have tried all types of settings and I could only squeeze a 1:31 out of Monza. I drive it because I like the cars look and I have always appreciated it's short history. It's nobody's fault I can't drive it to win races. It's a good time at any rate.

I vote no driving line. TCS is needed as well as ABS or I would not be able to tame the GT at all.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and season 3.

Was an awsome battle we had! But that start was a disaster! Got nailed so hard on both the 1st and 2nd chicanes got engine damage on both incidents. from 1st to dead last in the first 2 corners. I'd say that I want to see penalties from that start, but I know is not gonna happen so I'll just let it go.

I am pretty sure penalties will be given out this time according to Bermuda's last post.
 
I vote for Leguna Seca, Mazda Raceway whatever. Great track for Le Mans. It was great when I raced my brother on it in GT4 for 50 Laps. R89C vs 787B.

I got ahead, and then with two laps to go my tires gave out and I had to pit a second time (was spinning all over the place).

I came out of the pits right behind you, and I think you spun ahead of me into the sand with a lap to go.

The gt one for me is the only LMP car I can drive reasonable well. I reckon it is up there (with a good setup) with the R8. I'm so used to it now, it's the only
LMP car I can drive and without it I probably wouldn't be in the series. I Guess it's just personal preference or driving style but I believe the gt one is an easy match for most of the others.

I noticed that when you came to lap me. You were about 10-5 seconds behind me. Not near enough for me to pull over for you to lap me but within sight and you couldn't get near because I was attacking the corners and then I was about a second quicker on the straights. Then i would make a tiny mistake and we start over. Then I had to pit
