Jav and Nashy have a good race to turn 1 after the start and get tangled up with golfer. I get to slide past.

thanks for the condolences everyone. :)

also, I know that I was driving ridiculously at Nurb GP Bermuda, won't happen again, I was just crazy frustrated and tired lol.

Although I usually use Driving Line as a sort of safety net, I agree the racing might be better without it, and I don't feel that it really helps much anyway.

For next week I'd suggest Daytona Road, or Laguna Seca for my tastes, but anything will be fine. :)

The 2nd picture just reminds me of something: Race starts when the LEADING CAR reaches the start, right? Otherwise everyone will be ages behind. I say this because I overtook JML right at the pit wall - I had speeded up as soon as leading car reached the start, but he didn't, so a bit confusing :)

Race starts for everyone when leading car reaches start.

The leading car can pretty much go from when he wants within a pre determined point, this was the start of the pit wall up to the start line. You are not allowed to overtake the car infront untill you pass this line. Thats how it works in real life anyway.

The start ruined my whole race as i was hit into the barrier and got stuck there and then had to work my way through the pack. I havn't looked at the replay yet but i will see who it was that hit me.

I think it was me. Me, you and Jav all ran long into the braking point so we all came close to the barrier but off course i had a two cars in between me and the barrier so sorry about that. Hopefully round 3 at the prestigous TBD circuit will be easier on tyres and easier on overtaking. I would like Madrid or Rome but I doubt it will happen.

I didn't run long at the first corner as i knew where i had to brake, i would have stopped in plenty of time. I was on the inside and Jav on the outside, so i dont know where you were going to go. The best bit was you were complaining about the first corner before we started and still ran into people ruining there race.

I am getting used to being knocked off as it happened twice the week before.

After all the incidents at the first corner at least we realise that PD shouldnt use solid tyre barriers just a metre away from track edge. I mean Tokyo and Nurnurgring GP/F have those moveable ones and they are much better cause you crash into them and they end up blocking he track for the next few laps.

First corner at Monza is going to be a ****show no matter what the racing game or skill level of drivers, I think.

I gently guided my Peugeot down the right-hand side of the track, a couple car lengths back from the lead pack, and waited for all the **** to hit the fan before I gently guided my blue car around the wreckage :scared:

It`s funny because I know at least one other driver had the same strategy as me. I looked behind me and there was another LMP car just taking it very easy off the start, slowly coasting into T1, waiting for the carnage to be over :)

I enjoy a short run up front after the 1st turn carnage.

Mike 3rd, Aryton 4th, Bombe 5th, Diaba 6 and JML hits the dirt.

Eric catches me by the end of lap one.

I move over to the outside for Eric to overtake at turn 1.

My weekends are finally free, and chance to jump in this mid season?

send me a pm

Hope everyone enjoyed the race this past weekend , ill read all the new posts and update everything and watch the replays in the next day or 2. I will be picking a track for race 3 today or tomorrow morning so you guys can get some practice this weekend.

I really hope you don't go with Laguna, Suzuka would make for some sweet sweet racing...

I vote Laguna Seca. Could there be a poll for this? Suzuka as I've been seeing wouldn't be to good for high powered cars such as these with others around.

i'm not sure when but this topic has passed my own post count... I just had to say that.

Autumn Ring is great fun to race in these cars as I discovered yseterday with a mate of mine. I think a street circuit should be added to the calender as street racing makes everything so much more challenging. SSR5 or Madrid are my favourites.

Small circuits -> more lapping -> more chaos and mistakes - no thank you ;)

I still vote for Grand Valley, everything else would be ok too. Don't like Suzuka unless rain is coming - it was in last season's schedule too.

The next track will be either daytona road / or laguna .

The reason why daytona is because it's not hard . It's a fun track but not very difficult with plenty of room to overtake.

Laguna Is good too, it is a very technical track and lots of fun. it being a good course doesnt mean I think it will good for this season.

Daytona Road Course, for Round 3

Season 3 Tracks will be 4 of the following

La Sarthe
Grand Valley
Special Stage 5
Mazda Laguna Seca
Suzuka
Deep Forest
Tokyo street circuit.

if your fav track didnt make it into Season 2 stick around for season 3!

Hopefully there's room for me this weekend :)

Woah, already preparing for Season 3?

Back to Season 2 talk, I was hoping for Laguna, oh well. Time to practice!

Oh and also since there always seems to be space in these races (I've mentioned this before) I'll take my GTR Pace Car and well... pace you you guys around for the first lap. How's that? I'm not racing for Season 3 for I'm not to good at city courses.

yea, ill create a thread for Season 3 after the next race,

ive yet to update the standings Or watch the replay yet, ill have time to do that tomorrow.
