Pre-Season Race: Daytona Road Course - Est Laps - 39

Round 3: Suzuka ( Weather ) - Est Laps 35
Round 4: Monza ( Weather ) - Est Laps - ?
Round 5: Mazda Laguna Seca - Est Laps 47
Round 6: La Sarthe 2009 - (Weather / 24h Time) - Est Laps 19
Each race will last aprox 1 hour. Each track will have an estimated lap time used to determine the number of laps. ( The # of laps will be adjusted on race day if necessary, if the average lap time will not complete the race within +/- 2mins of an hour )

No ramming or bashing of other cars is allowed. All Drivers are expected to to read and follow GTP's Online Racing Rules
Cutting chicanes & corners is not allowed. 2 Wheels must remain on the track.
Qualifying:
Pace Lap: 1 lap will be added to the race distance for a formation pace lap. After qualifying drivers will be called one by one to exit the pit in the order they finished. The first driver will stop 100m after they exit the pit and everyone will line up behind them in order. DO NOT pass the driver in front of you. After everyone is out of the Pits the Race will be started.
Drivers will line up in a staggered formation. A minimum of 3 car lengths must be between cars in the same lane. You are not allowed to pass the the bumper of the car in the lane next to you.
The Formation Lap speed limit is 100 kph / 60 mph
*Stay in your qualifying order
*Do not hit other cars or exceed the speed limit
Rolling Start: When pole driver turns onto the pit straight the race will go green flag once 100m from start/finish line. ((This point will be clarified before each race.)) No Passing is allowed until crossing the start finished line. Drivers will be penalized for false starts and illegal passing.
Pit Lane is closed during the pace lap. Drivers who enter the pits will recieve a penalty
Overtaking: clean overtaking is the responsibility of the overtaker, if any racing incidents happen as a result of poor overtaking, the overtaker may be held responsible and penalized. * If the defender is found braking excessively early to defend or to cause an incident they will be penalized.
Track Position: If you gain a position by cutting a corner or pushing another driver off the track you must immediately allow that other person to pass you and give back that position back.
Blocking: Drivers are allowed only one change of direction on a straight or turn to defend their track position.
Lapped Drivers: Back markers must yield faster traffic at the first safest opportunity. Back makers shall use slower, wider entires into turns and/or allow lead drivers to pass freely on straights. Lapped do not have to pull off the track to allow lead drivers by.
Lead Drivers are not allowed to ram, push, or spin back makers off the track to get by - over taking rules are still in effect.
Bump Drafting: NASCAR style bump drafting is not allowed. (really - do i have to mention this ....... )
Race Incident reporting: To report a race incident (or a suspected incident) after the race send me a PM with info on what happened and what lap in happened on. If you dont give me a lap, I'm not watching the replay.
Driver reputation system:
Each driver is going to start the season with 20 points next to their name.
You will lose points for causing race incidents / accidents and poor driving.
This system should help distinguish the clean drivers / from the not so clean drivers.
Any driver who receive(s) complaints or is given a penalty will lose rep points.
Examples
* Knocking another driver off the track and causing them to lose their position -2 pts
* Knocking a driver off the track and causing them damage - forcing them to lose more than 1 position - 4 pts
* Getting caught cutting corners - 2 pts
* Cutting a corner to gain a position - 2 pts
* Passing on the rolling start before the start line - 2 pts
* Any other insistences not mentioned - 1 -4 pts
Team Orders If "Alonso is faster than U" .... Then you should probably drive faster
