To be honest, I don't think so. You were genuinely faster then me at that Indy Test as well as faster at Spa. I may have run you for your money if I could get past you into turn 1 but otherwise I'd think you'd slowly pull away from me by a tenth or two a lap.
God only knows how you found so much speed

No war coming from here either, I just think your blatant bias regarding all things Audi and Jamman is tiresome, and this is coming from a guy who says flat out, Jamman is doing what he's doing bc of the driver, not all the car.
The fact remains that the R8 is a full second faster in my hands, at almost all tracks, than the Speed 8 is. Not exactly one second everywhere, but close. At Suzuka my R8 pace was 43.0 (Jamm mid/high 42's usually) while my Bentley pace was 44.0. At Indy the gap was closer to .5 between the 2. At Nurb, again a second at LEAST between them. Spa the gap was again around 1.0
Also, I'm being generous here, in the wet the R8 is about FOUR seconds faster than ANY other LMP at Suzuka. The best lap of the race except Jamman at Suzuka (100% track water) was 2'13.4, Jamman's was a 2'09.5.
My first lap in the R8 in the full wet (I wanted to see how much of the 2 minute margin of victory was driver) was a 2'11.5, second lap was a 2'10.5. I stopped after that, but you get the idea. The kid is really fast, but so is his car.
Edit: Can we please start confirming people for the Invitational LMP race guys? I think Jamman and Tissimo are the only 2 that everyone is in agreement on. Then we have Bombe, Razor, Paginas, Peter, Johny, Mu, and I all sort of floating around as potentials.... maybe a test at La Sarthe is in order.
