i miss the strong draft. but i hated it. there needs to be a med setting.
Im tired of people dive bombing in to pass and just hitting the other car... thats not clean you only pulled that off because you could bounce off the other car.
When you run up to a corner on the outside ready to take the fast line and someone comes on the inside and trys to play it off as you left the corner open..... thats bs

I'm starting to dislike the patch since the patch. Everyone knows that I had a good FGT setup. Patch comes out and I enter a FGT league. Patch means I can't go flat through Eau Rouge without a mega setup. Hate patch.
But all cars on the kart track makes up for it. Well, I wish it did.
And thanks Jake. I consider myself a series vet too although that is because I am a series vet. Although it is abit difficult to finish a race if you can't start a race in the first place.
And why are we not racing next week? That is the day I get my 32" HD TV!!! I wanted to race that day after spending hours on BF3. Or F1. Or GT5. But yeah you get the idea. But can we hold a race (wether it counts for anything or not) the week after because that is my birthday and it would be quite special to race on my birthday.

Sounds like real life LOL. IRL you see guys held up by slower cars forEVER, and when they get by, they leave. The racing now is like that, but still a bit easier to pass, still a little bit exaggerated draft. With high draft, the races were more like a convoluted game. I won Fuji last season just by playing high draft to perfection. Saving my tires in corners, falling like 1.0 behind Razor and catching up via high draft. I had Razor's entire initial run to just camp out and save rubber.
Edit: I'm really hoping to do Laguna next week everyone. Idk what Golfer is talking about, but assuming he knows something I don't, how many cannot make it next week? It'd be nice to at least get the "regular season" finished pre-Christmas. That way, after Christmas we'll do La Sarthe, the LMP Invitational, and get the ball started on improving the series in all ways for Season 6.
I'd also like to suggest the season finale be 25 laps total, 24 green.

why do you guys fight over what car is the fastest?? seriously.
The bentley w/ weight is the same speed as the Audi even with the max DF wing the difference is between nothing to .25 seconds .
when you guys drive the Audi vs Bentley, you secretly just want the audi to win so you can prove your point that it is too fast.
I 100% agree since the last round of updates the Audi is unstoppable in the Rain....
You all literally had this argument last season over jake in the Bentley.. and when he had 60 kg he still won.

Spec 2 had a huge impact on tires and tire wear.... I think the extra wing might give an advantage to worn tires grip. Giving a bigger advantage in the long run. But that's all speculation.. I could test, but i don't care to be honesty. I could race the Bentley or Audi, but it's fun using other cars..... Except the bmw in rain......

I'm thinking of practicing what I preach and going with the 908 or 787 next season. Unless Seb uses the R8 again, which I'd consider an unacceptable offense, and see no other option but to use it as well LOL.
Edit: I reserve the right, if the R18 is ever added to the game, to use it and to voraciously maintain that it is equal to the Bentley, no matter how much faster it actually is, LOL.

My 908 is, and has been for approx. 55 weeks, my favorite car. I think Spec 2 made the 908 more competitive TBH, or maybe the 700 HP limit favors it, but I've had a blast driving the Puegeot recently. It handles so well! Lacks the overall speed of the big 3 though, but honestly who cares.
I dropped the BMW because it was such a beast to drive recently, not bc it was slow persay. I did maintain top 3-5 pace with it, Daytona I should have had 3rd or 4th but failed a 1 stop, much like Tissimo today. Tiss we've gotta stop falling into the 1 stop trap lol. It's not S4 anymore hahaha.

To everyone desiring thier season 6 car, you will hate it by this time next season unless it's the Audi or Bentley.
Tell me about it, I switched to BMW and have since re-upped with Bentley LOL.
I have to add though, you use the GT One, which isn't exactly small potatoes either man, lol.
At 600 HP the GT One was so fast at Monza I was drooling on the floor as I drove it. hahaha

I like the GT-One, I just don't like how Jamman is running away with it.
Also, I'm more of a guy who praises their car instead of criticizing it, TOCA Season 2 and 3 I had uncompetitive cars that I drove as best I could, but just called the other cars noob-cars.
(still got 5 wins with a car half a second slower then the best though.

Audi=Red Bull Jamman=Vettel. lol that's basically this season. Except Jamman is actually passing people. Like today. I really felt I had a chance to win, at least podium! Yesterday me and Jake were in the ALMS race using Prototypes. I used the Speed 8 there as well. So this morning when I get online, I see I'm running late. I just oil change the car, no chassis rebuild, no engine rebuild. But I forgot to change the settings. Since I used it at Suzuka, I shortened the gears for Suzuka, and i left off the stage 3 turbo. I meant to put it back to stage 3 turbo for this race and extend the gears for higher top speed from the draft. But I forgot. Still, 6th was cool. Sorry for bumping into you guys and diving up the inside, yep- I'm guilty of this. I pit early because I was losing time to the leaders racing around with guys in 3rd-8th. I probably should have waited. More learning experience though.
Next season I think the Sauber or the Toyota would be a good car to use. Maybe even the R92. I also think the cars could be equalised more, perhaps preseason testing over a period of 10 laps, to judge tire wear etc.
